Every Prophet sent to each nation, group or community only speaks language of that community. Of all the Prophets known, how many spoke Arabic language? Perhaps 5. All others spoke languages different from Arabic language. Meaning that none of them used the word "Allah" since its not their language. If Hazrat Nabi Muhammad was a Yoruba man, obviously, he will use Yoruba language to communicate.

This was exactly the position of Imam Ghazali(ra) then before he decided to engage more on tasaawuf inorder to experience it, and them see if there is any substance in Sufis claim. The Imam got more than he bargained for and he was convinced about the veracity of Sufi experience. However, he was guided more because of his deep knowledge of sharia Islamic jurisprudence hence able to avoid pitfalls many Sufi fell into.

I think I lI've this intention and perhaps serves as save guard to not fall into shirk really. But they normally lack the will power to follow thru to see for themselves if those claims are true or false.
