zemaye:I have always thought you are male. I'm deceived |
Op is just another product of rape by bandits. That's all. |
Op, how do you deal with international customers who which to open account with your bank? . |
AllNaijaBlogger:May God gift us wisdom. Can't you see around you there are more women than men?. Dont you think there is flaw in your theology as it doesnt respond properly to large quantity of women over men?. Our prophet(P) said 1400yrs ago that one of the Signs of Last Age is there will be more women than men to the extent that one man will maintain 50 women. Isn't that happening now?. |
Emusan:You better not shake it too much becus it may come off ![]() You 'seriously' shake it cus you have no counterclaim |
AllNaijaBlogger:Mr. Paul again?....after he was trashed countless times you still brought hiim up here smh. As for Jesus, that's very easy to answer from Islamic epistemology. It tells us that Jesus(p) will return and live for 40 yrs on earth to accomplish his unaccomplished mission over 2000 yrs ago. It says that Jesus(p) will marry (I hope it is going to be a beautiful Palestinian Muslim gir) and have children. That's our belief as Muslims. You can deny that. That's your prerogative. |
Shaking my head bro. Your comparison is flawed. Here we talking about Halal(permissible) and Haram(prohibited). So basically, this is about permisibility of plural marriage being legal or not. This is contrary to killing. No religion says to kill. We see throughout the Bible God's prophets married more than one. This is not about criticizing christianity. Whats wrong with you. AllNaijaBlogger:And no, to us muslims, they (christians who marry more than one wife) are not 'bad eggs'. They simply obey and follow fitra (natural instinct). They are the good followers of prophets. Singular marriage is false (if that's the belief of some). They lie but have concubines while preaching something else. Those christians who make plural marriage haram are changing God's order. They are the culprits |
2nded @ bro kazlaw. To Me however, its not controversial at all. I grew up doing group dhikr. There are lots of benefits in it. There is a Hadith i posted under "Hadith Of The Day" in general thread. The hadith clearly shows permissibility of group or congregational dhikr. It's non-issue as far as I am concerned. On doing dhikr loud, honestly, this is not issue either. As for loud Dhikr, what is disliked about that is simply if it disturb your neighbours . One of the most important benefits of it is EASE OF MEMORIZATION. |
Emusan, indeed. Why are you deceiving yourself?. Are you trying to change the nature?. It's mandated (even though it's not obligatory) for man to marry more than one woman. It's man's nature. Look at "Nollywood", many of whom are christians have concubines, secret wives, or even openly married second, third and 4th wives. Do you listen to some of them lately openly saying that Muslims are correct?. Jibola Debo is typical example of that. That one woman is not enough for a man. Quran allows up to 4 wives. That's what matters. In the West where they frown at more than one wife, they marry one but have girl friends and sex partners outside of their matrimonia homes. That's not safe for women at all. That's like using women as sex object without security. So what are you talking about. When i was in High school, my vice principal who is a christian married 5 women in the city. But his job was in village as VP. He slept with students as he wishes. He even failed some guys for competing with him i:e he snatched their GFs from them. He's a pastor in the city known to marry 5 wives. But he's a fornicator in the village and he's also called pastor/vp vis a vis. Many of them like that. Dont tell me "he's just a bad egg. He's not following the scripture". That's irrelevant |

AllNaijaBlogger:Robots that "care" are no longer merely science fiction ... Producing machines that look and behave like people seems to be a human project with a long history. Mention of a Jewish Rabbi producing an instance of the legendary golem (a creature understood to possess an active human-like body, while lacking a soul) appeared as early as the 4th century CE. The celebrated 13th-century Muslim engineer Ibn al-Razzaz al-Jazari undoubtedly designed, and may have constructed what has been described in present-day terms as "the first programmable human-like robotic device" – a spectacular artifact featuring four robotic musicians performing on a floating boat. Fascination with the idea of crafting convincing imitations of people appears to have been part of human history for millennia. In more recent times, though, modern computers – and with them, research introducing so-called "artificial intelligence" (AI) – have begun to give this long-standing fascination some significant new dimensions. I have been really thinking about this issue and what it means for christianity. As a Christian, humanoid-looking robots with AI functionality creates a serious challenge for my faith. It raises questions about what it means to be a “creation” and it also creates an ethical homework in which we as Christian have to figure out how to treat robots fairly, as they become our fellow conscious beings. Yes, treating robots like humans will become an issue because scientists tend to make robots look as human as possible and so, there might be a time where humans might be indistinguishable from robots.humm, you getting confused already. Perhaps the most widely recognized contemporary human-like robot is a product of Japanese science and technology named "ASIMO." Resembling a short (4 ft 3 in) astronaut wearing a backpack, ASIMO represents the fruit of several decades of research and development conducted by the Honda Motor Company. Videos on the company's official web site show ASIMO climbing stairs, jogging, balancing on one foot, visually recognizing people by name, and serving a tray of beverages to restaurant patrons. Similar examples of this impressive humanoid robot technology exist in other countries as well~ e.g., Turkey (Today's Zaman 2010), United Arab Emirates (Fahad Inc. 2008), and South Korea (Impactlab.net 2008). A 2009 online report titled "Robot Nurses to Care for Japanese Elderly within Five Years" reports that Warwick University, in England, has undertaken a "three year 2.7 million dollar project to develop a robot nurse," predicting that "nurses could be delegating tasks to robotic colleagues by 2020" (Zygbotics 2009). It is important to note that such robotic "colleagues" of human nurses commonly are intended to be suited for fairly intimate kinds of social interactions with people. One finds, for instance, references to robotic assistance in recreation and with feeding, grooming, walking, bathing, etc. There is encounter that took a new dimension. Robotic arms have welded and painted in our automobile factories for decades, but the repetitive activities of these familiar industrial robots are profoundly different from interaction with a humanoid machine that helps one's aging grandmother eat her dinner and take her medicine (perhaps even chatting and playing a card game with her). Moreover, the latter type of robot no longer is mere science fiction; design and construction of machines to perform these kinds of personal human-robot interactions are taking place now. Here is a list of questions that an inquisitive Christian would probably ask as a result of robots having AI-Abrahamic religions, through their shared accounts of the Garden of Eden, have long recognized appropriateness of modesty between even the primordial man and woman but application of that sentiment to our dealings with a battery-operated dog suggests how plastic human notions of personhood might be! Question now is, can Robot perform Haj on my behalf? This sounds like dump question, isn't? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qle0kyZjvFM#t=109 In contrast, though, a pilot study has suggested that Abrahamic theistic belief in creation of individual human souls by a personal deity may be related to disapproval of human-robot interaction "with life-like personal robots that requires human acceptance of the robots at intimate levels" (Metzler and Lewis 2008, 22). This finding resonates with a respected voice in modern Christian theology. Within the Abrahamic religious family, after all, human beings historically have been regarded as spiritually special, and understood as belonging to a category fundamentally different from any technological artifacts that they might construct for amusement, or as tools. What do you think about these questions? Would conscious robots challenge your faith? Not really. Maybe Christianity and other but not Islam. Anglican priest (and physicist) John Polkinghorne has emphasized significance of "the mystery of the human person," which involves "our embodied nature, embedded in the physical world but transcending a merely reductive physicality" (Polkinghorne 1998). Both the mystery and the transcendence that Rev. Polkinghorne mentions are punctuated clearly, as well, in the Holy Qur'an: "And they will ask thee of the Spirit. SAY: The Spirit proceed at my Lord's command: but of knowledge, only a little to you is given" (The Night Journey – Sura 17:85). The theistic perspective of this family of religions tends to link the human person, as a free moral agent, with a spiritual level of reality that isn't completely expressible in terms of everyday entities such as rocks and trees and machines. From the way you sound however, it may be pertinent at this point to inquire whether the spiritual level of reality envisioned by your religious faith might arguably be represented even in current science. To be sure, the robotic and AI technologies upon which we have focused in this thread are discussed almost entirely nowadays with so-called "macro-level" accounts of discrete, individualized entities (ref to fb). -Can a human get married to a robot?I once read a book titled Love and Sex With Robots: The Evolution of Human-Robot Relationships describes author and chess master David Levy’s distressing prediction that in a few decades we will have created robots so compellingly human we will have sex with them. According to the article, the reasons Levy gives include loneliness, desperation and curiosity. Whatever motivations he ascribes to it, his prediction begs the question of why we have sex at all. The obvious reasons are procreation and pleasure. Clearly, reproduction is not an issue when it comes to sex with machines. Pleasure, however, is, and the thought of coupling with a human-looking, artificially intelligent machine makes me think about the moral limits of sexual activity. If you think about it, a one-night stand is kind of like sex with a robot. You have a limited amount of time to determine what your partner would like, and if you can’t, it is rather robotic, isn’t it? What’s the point? A one-night stand, even if it takes all night, simply can’t have the depth of a long-term relationship between two people who are committed to each other’s happiness in life. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of a husband’s concern for his wife’s sexual happiness and his obligation to ensure it. A fellow blogger Umm Reem noted https://ummreem./2007/03/09/woman-an-object-of-mans-pleasure/ the following hadiths (sayings of the Prophet) regarding this issue: “Let none of you come upon his wife like an animal; let there be an emissary between them.” When asked what the emissary was, he (prophet Muhammad) replied, “The kiss and sweet words.” In another hadith, the Prophet (saw) points out that one of the deficiencies of a man is that “he should approach his wife and have sexual contact with her before exchanging words and caresses, consequently, he sleeps with her and fulfills his needs (i.e. orgasm) before she fulfills hers.” Even if a robot has a lifelike body and mechanized brain functions to simulate sexual response, the only reason for having sex with it is to fulfill your own desires and reflects no concern for another person with a soul and a destiny whose care and contentment you have taken responsibility for. And then you are no more than a machine driven by lust or, deriving a metaphor from Levy’s background in chess and artificial intelligence, you are simply a pawn in a game created by computer scientists. |

MuhdG:That's it. It's always about @bolded ![]() But i hardly doubt if they will agree.... I am just/still a student. That's another problem. Parents got to understand that in this day and age, where zina is prevalent they need to be flexible. Boys have feelings too. They are just as men as their fathers. There are two(2) main reasons for parent (father especially) to disagree. First, economy situation(both parents are concerned). Second, greed. This concerns father. Some fathers want to bury their sons' integrity. By that, i meant they want to enjoy their life to full extent before their sons reign. I have had experience with a uncle towards his children (males and females). When his 1st daughter got pregnant out of wedlock some 15 years ago, he threatened her to abort 4 months pregnancy. The lady is not his first child. Years later his first son and second sons got married, he picked up fight with them. He never attended their weddings. It's now clear that he doesn't want them marry because he wants his popularity to reign forever. This reason was obvious when his 5th wife got pregnant for him at old age. His children also notice that he fears that if they get married he's not gonna source enough money from them anymore. ummitoagirl:Fair enough. Most Muslim men I have met want zina before nikkah..... Yes! I stand by my statement. This is true to certain extent...no denying it. But I disagree with 'most' though. And oh, not Muslim by name oh, the very learned brothers I have met.Paranoia it is. Believe me they are paranoid bcus of one experience or the other. Some or few are purely desire base. But it's no excuse though. It's indeed true. May Allah make it easy for us. |
