@Empir.ee: You are very funny even tbaba won't agree with this your notion.

Let me explain it this way perchance you'll understand, the Prophet's (peace be upon him) dua prescription and that of your Sheikh Adam, Kamaldeen and others which one will you take from?
Yea, i expect this illogical reasoning of yours. Indeed, it is irrelevant to try to engage in long winded argument with you. I do not have problem with your understanding of "Quran and Sunnah". But I have problem with you calling others bidaah and mushrik. You and your cohorts do that, period. Truly, your understanding of following Quran and Sunah is very narrow.

You think those great Shuyuk dont quote hadith/prophet?. You think they dont know about hisn Muslim and all that?. Stick to your rigid interpretation. I dont have problem with it. Islam allows for flexibility in many non obligatory duties and naflat.

Imagine "Alfa kennyosein" walking down the street and a brother asks, "Alfa kenny, pls help me. I have xyz problem, what dua can you recommend for me?"

And your response is "I dont have book of hadith with me right now. I have to go home and look for what rosul prescribed on this and I will get back to you".

This is called stupidity. Quality of a muslim is to be "walking Quran". This is the way of these great Sheikhs. I am sure you do not memorize ALL recommended dua in various ahadith. What does Rabannas in the Quran indicate to you?.

What does this means to you? "And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." 40/60

So keep it up man. Good-luck!

As for you accusing great Sheik Adam Al-Ilory of being misguided, i wont take you serious cus you dont even know what "nakali" means in Islamic context but you accused these men of misguidance. You need to openly and secretly make tauba. These men worked hard so that you could be muslim today. You sure have no idea of the struggle of Sheik Adam until his last days on earth. Maybe you need to be schooled a little bit. Where were you around in the 1950s when this man was struggling up and down trying to establish Islam in Abeokuta in 1953?. That was at age 36. How many 36 yrs old today can go through that without backsliding ?.

Abeokuta is a very strong traditional 'juju' worshipers domain. They attacked Sheik Adam with sihr, magic etc but Allah rendered their efforts null and void. He witnessed death and death also saw him. You know what that means isnt?. Go and study his biography and especially on Murkas before it was relocated to Agege, Lagos.

Despite his fame throughtout nigeria and around the world, it was like islam not gaining ground in nigeria. He sensed Islam would die with him bcus every Sunday, what he saw was "White garments" folks, the Christians. It was said that Sheik Adam lamented to Allah to raise islam after him. He felt like his fame overshadowed other Ulama.

Perhaps if you arent too young, you could remember abundant churches everywhere in the 80s and 90s with strong missionary force; funded by the West to end Islam by year 2000?. Nigerian Pastors were trained at Bible College in USA. Sheik Adam's dua was accepted after his death leading to establishement of many Muslim Associations starting around 1995 - NACOMYO, NASFAT, ANSARDEEN, ANWARDEEN...you name it. It's these groups now founded "ASALATU" that some of you folks are now condeming. It if they were to be textual rigidity folks like you and your cohorts, they would have said "Asalatu" was not practiced by the prophet and the companions. This is called a "lazy man methodology". But "ASALATUL prayers" on Sundays strengthens many muslims...especially women. And also brought many to Islam.

Or you want to accuse Sheik Kamaldeen Al-dabiy, a great Sufi Sheik, if he recommends prayer you wont do it because your have warped ideology called "Quran and Sunnah" that you have no idea what really means?. A man that performed his karramah commanding rain using his deeds as interseccion. Can you or any of your Ulama today do that?. I mean the folks screaming "Quran and Sunnah" like robot everywhere. They dont know the prophet(saw). They just reading books.

If such a man gives me a dua or recommends it, why cant i do it?. What is that silly thing that a muslim cant draft a dua for another muslim?. Sounds silly to me.

My Methodology

I address Emp.iree 's allegation against me quoted above, regarding an earlier hadith i cited. This allegation owe to his misunderstanding of my methodology or longing to have me see things from his lens. For i cited 2 hadith confirming men and women performed ablution together, yet he accuses me of concluding from only 1 hadith. On the flip-side, his own methodology here is flawed as he ignores the language, grammar & context of the hadith i cited. And in bid to reconcile it with his doctrines, he cite another hadith about Muhammad and his wife doing ghusl and ablution from one vessel. Empireé thinks this hadith best explain the hadith i originally cited, unaware that the two hadith have only one thing in commom; ablution, and that 's all. The hadith i cited talk of men and women doing ablution together, while the one he cited concern the permissibility of doing ablution with remnant of water used for ghusl.

Another problem is his disregard for grammar, interpreting 'nisauu' in the hadith i cited as 'their women/wives'. No need further stressing, i already covered it.

In the end he cites Qur'an 33:59, poorly interpreting the verse. Forgeting that depending on size or kind, a cloak may not conceal the hair or feet. And besides the recommendation of the cloak according to the verse is to ward off harrassment and thus the verse is only applicable where women fear or risk harrassment. The cloak isn't a convienent or practical outfit for most day to day activities and so cannot be obligatory for Muslim women.
So long as you disagree with your wife performing wudu among other men in the same vessel, then you misunderstood the hadith in question. Fair enough?. I am not hadith guru but I figured out the hadith is coined linguistically. Like for instance, Yoruba folks may address you like this "HOW'S YOUR WOMAN". The phrase is obviously addressing your wife. They also use phrase like "HOW'S MY WIFE" when they address other. The phrase is definitely not referring to first speaker's.

So the hadith says "OUR WOMEN" is definitely referring to their wives not strangers. If however you have no problem with your wife performing wudu in the same vessel with a another Muslims man, I can guarantee you that it's only a matter of time before she's harassed, toasted OR succumb.

Well, thats Mr. hassan's opinion. Empir.ee is not concerned about wikileaks and co. His research is based on Quran, hadith and reality on ground and personal experience with this regard. Not unneccesary theory. I am aware of wild conspiracy theories but thats none of my business.

My point is this, if you folks fail to listen to Quran lesson on this subject you have a long way to go. The thing is muslims are the target especially muslima. Sooner or later, in the months and years ahead, muslims will voluntarily give up their rights for security. Notice my words. You will see muslims who will agree that hijab, burqa etc should be banned or searched in the name of security. Those muslims who will do that will be very silly.

I dare anyone touches my wife to lift her hijab. My first attempt is to ask for a search warrant (which is legally impossible without probable cause). If you have no search warrant, then hands off me and my wife. Simple.

The earlier you people undersrtand the better. They know where and who BH are. If you dont believe that, that's your problem. Give them your rights freely. And next time, they will tie you down and rape your woman in front of you and you can do no damn thing about it. That's where nija is heading cus we fail to recognise these vaganbonds are funded by those interested eradicating the religion. They can't be muslims. However, I perfectly understand there are some muslims that espouse violent tendences. But here we talking about international criminal groups. Definitely poor folks cant afford such powerful military weapons they use. I dont deny at all that there are muslims being funded. That's definitely part of the scheme.

You can give them your rights but am not. They want to search me and my wife, come with a warrant. Otherwise, they touch my wife they get shot in their testicles

^ Sign of Last Age brother. I seldom watched his lectures but I am not always content with him. If you notice on the other thread, Albaqir critisized him of being arrogant. I see that actually. Then also, I watch Sheik Dauda a lot. He never reference him anytime he praises past and living Sheiks. Sheik Abib seems to have probem with others.

Even if he doesnt believe in the return of nabiy ibn Maryam(AS), is this how a learned Sheik should talk?. There are few other prominent scholars like Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, he doesn't believe in the return Isa(AS). He was even western influenced but never talked recklessly like this sheikh as you described. I am very disturbed by this. But bear in mind that him being first son does not make him true heir. Sheik Adam's true heirs are those who followed his footsteps in the deen and improved it like Alfa Nla.

Sheikh Habib also bashes muslims unnecessarily. That's one of the reason I don't like watching him. Pardon me brother, I think he's arrogant and rude. Sheikh Dauda Abdul Majeed slightly make reference to this in one of his lectures a while back.

The woman is a liability. We need less of her likes in our society. We do not want housewives who fail to consider the ‘ifs'. Mind you, I have nothing against being a housewife and I may even consider it but If I did I won't be a stupid, gullible and foolish one. Why should another woman be responsible for the daftness of another. What stopped her from learning a skill, going to school or ensuring that her husband provided her security before deciding to become a housewife. What if her husband had divorced her? What would she have live on? Is she so daft to realise that life is not a fairy tale? Shouldnt she have realized the reality of life when her husband told her that he was considering another wife?

If anyone, she should blame herself, blame her guardians who failed to instill the good of independence in her. She should for once in her life take advantage of the fact that she is a HUMAN.

However this is does not mean that I am against widows remarring as second wives. What I am against are the likes of her putting their whole existence at at the mercies of men. It would be unlikely for her to seek a man if she were self-suficient because her main focus would have been nurturing her kids. And even if she were to need a man, it would be for no other reasons than for se.x and as a ‘figure-head' cheesy. In other word, she would need a disposable man, disposable as to if she were asked to choose between his life and her job, she would choose her job grin (I know it is extreme, but I couldn't find any other example that would better suggest to you meaning of ‘disposable' in this context undecided ).

Shouldn't it be easy for her to find single men who share the notion that they are God gift to women. Men like you, who would rather marry a woman as charity cheesy than empower her. But no, you wouldn't want your first wife to be a single mother.

I would like to congratulate you for giving me a reason to start a movement. My aims would be to make my fellow females understand the amazing power they possess, to value self-sufficiency above any other values

I think you missed the point. I am not against housewife learning skills or owning her own business. The point is, skillful and hard working women are not exempted from this predicament.
Islam › Re: Islam For Muslims: Side Talk Station by Empiree: 10:05pm On Jul 06, 2015
^^ You not serious. I believe that you take hadith in isolation. This is very problematic. Besides, I thought you no longer believe in hadith?. So what exactly you trying to achive here?.

A MAN AND WOMAN'S WASHING FROM A SINGLE VESSEL

Ibn Abbas (RTA) narrates that one of the wives of the prophet(Allah's blessings be upon him) took ghusl from Janaabah then saw Rosullulah(SAW) about to take a ghusl from the water remaining- so she informed him that she had made ghusl therefrom- so rosullah said nothing makes water impure. [Reported by Abu Daud 9no.670, and an-nasaa'ee (no 326), and At-Tirmidhee who declared it to be sahih, and ibn Majah (no 370)

Ibn Abd ul-Barr says: There is nothing in the Sharee'ah to prevent each of them washing with the water remainig from the other- either together or one after the other, and this is the sayiing of the scholars and the hadith about Mutawaatir (Al-Istidhkaar 1/373).

Your method is lazy man methodology. If you want to be a real scholar of Islam, you have a lot to do. You do not take any verse of Quran and hadith in isolation. I wish I can explain better on my own terms and relate it modern practices. I believe you misunderstood the point raised in these ahadith. A sound mnd should not have problem with this though.

Pls whats the to stop as of currentlyhuh
Qur'an is clear on the time to stop sahur. The time is not determined by call to salat as time differs. Qur'an says [2:187]

"It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allah , so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous."

So all you have to do is step outside and look up. If you can distinguish day from night, stop eating.

What this means is that Allaah has allowed those who are fasting to eat and drink at night until he is certain that dawn has come. What is meant by the white thread is the day, and the black thread is the night.

Al-Haafiz said: What the verse means is until the whiteness of day can be distinguished from the blackness of night. This happens when the true dawn appears.

The words “of dawn” serve to explain what is meant by “the white thread” and there is no need to explain what is meant by the black thread because explaining the one makes it clear what is meant by the other. End quote.

If they call the adhan, just step out and look up the sky, it's most likely dark still. So continue eating with due diligence.

Salam alaikum usermane, Your doctrine you trying to sell us will not work. kazlaw was right. I have always warned you with respect to quoting solitary hadith to draw your conclusion or derive meaning. Well, I agree that 'nisa' means women in the Quran. It also depends on the context. Dont get it twisted. But if you insist that strangers(men) and strangers (women) did wudu together, very well then. Answer this please.

Can I sit next to your beautiful darling wife, your sweetheart and make wudu in the same vessel?. I will sit very close to her and exchange glances back n fourth while she revealed certain parts of her body. Are you okay with it?. Please dont be offended. Kindly answer pls. Thanks

Now is the real thing

The hadith you referred to in your post ^ is not reported by imam Muslim. It is, rather, reported by Al-Bukhari. The hadith reads, “Men and women used to do ablution (wudu’) together during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).” (Al-Bukhari, Al-Jami` As-Sahih, hadith no. 193). The hadith is also reported by imam an-Nasa’i in his Sahih.

The meaning of this hadith is that in the Prophet’s lifetime husbands used do wudu’ (ablution) along with their wives from the same vessel or pot. There are other similar hadiths which indicate that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself used to do ghusl (washing) and so his wives did from a single vessel or pot.

Imam Al-Bukhari mentioned the above-mentioned hadith under the title “Husbands and Wives Doing Ablution Together” which supports the fact that the hadith refers to husbands who used to do ablution from the same vessel where their wives did ablution too.

The hadith doesn’t, by any means, indicate that there was a public place for wudu’ where men and women used to do ablution together. Ibn `Umar, who reported the above hadith, didn’t say that he “saw” men and women doing ablution together, but rather he told that men (i.e., husbands) used to do ablution with women (i.e., their wives).

Moreover, it is historically known that there were NO basins in Madinah where people, men or women, might do ablution together.

Given the above, it is not acceptable for some people to use the above hadith to claim that women can bare their arms, feet and heads before men; their claim is in conflict with the Qur’anic verse that reads, “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Al-Ahzab 33:59) Dr. Wael Shihab
May Allah accept your and our good deeds!

Folks he holds meetings with are wolves.

There are evidences by logical deduction that bh was engineered by same old people who tried so hard in the 80s and 90s to put out Islam. Did you guys notice that back then?.....when evangelical Christians were funded by the west to end islam in Africa starting from Nigeria?. They even put timeline on it that by year 2000 there would no more islam in Nigeria. They devoted prayers in churches across Nigeria because of this but they failed miserably. Anytime they kill islam on the left, islam thrived on the right vice versa. Sheik Adam(RTA) saw this vision before he passed. He cried to Allah (SWT) to make islam victorious. Not too long after his death, several muslim organizations: nasfat, ansar, anwar, nacomyo etc emerged which some lazy muslims now condemning. Surely Sheik Adam's dua was accepted.

Me and vedaxcool also dialogue on non-muslim folks sent to middle east to learn Arabic and returned home to cause chaos. Northern Nija was targeted by kufar. Believe me.

Sheik Imran sums up the idea behind these menace using tawil of this verse (21:95), for the clowns responsible for these evil acts around the world today. As far as I am concern, the tawil is correct. I dont care what some people say. Ulama can continue to sit there until Jesus appears before the emergence of those clowns. The following are Etiquettes, Manners, Guidelines of Making Du’aa from the Sunnah and Min Akhbar as-Salaf (From the Narrations of the Salaf)

Fadalah bin ‘Ubayd (radiallaahu ‘anhu) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) heard a man making supplication in his prayer when he had not praised Allaah or said Salah upon the Prophet. The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: This man is rushing.

Then he (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) called him over and said to him or to someone else:

When any one of you supplicates, let him start by praising and glorifying Allaah, The Exalted, then let him send Salah upon the Prophet, and after that let him make supplication as he wishes.

Imam Ahmad, Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi reported the above hadeeth and graded it Sahih; An-Nasa`i, Ibn Khuzaymah and Ibn Hibban recorded in their Sahihs.

‘Abdullaah ibn Masood (radiallaahu ‘anhu) said:

When one of you wishes to ask (Allaah), then he should begin with praising and thanking Allaah with that which He deserves. Then he should ask Allaah to send His peace and blessings upon the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) then he should ask (for his need). For verily, that (the above method) is more likely to result in success.(as-Saheehah no. 3204)

The following is a summary of guidelines for making Du’aa - a summary (and fiqh) from Min Akhbar as-Salaf (From the Narrations of the Salaf):

1- one should be sincere in Du’aa

2- one’s heart should be present in the Du’aa

3- while fearing Allaah

4- one’s food should be halal

5- one should make Du’aa with truthfulness

6- the Du’aa should be made repeatedly, persistently

7- humble yourself to Allaah

8- be consistent in Du’aa

9- increase in Du’aa during times of fear

10- Don’t leave off making Du’aa (even if you commit sins), for Allaah answered the du’aa of shaytan - worst of all creation - “grant me respite until the Day of Judgment.” Allaah said (what means): You are of those allowed respite. (Al-A’raf, ayah 15)

11- Keep in mind that Du’aa is ‘ibaadah (worship)

12- one should be fearful of being prevented from making Du’aa

13- Do not say “my Du’aa is not answered,” while you yourself close the door by sins

lanrexlan:
Don't mind him brother Em.piree. There are 3 main antidotes to face trials and tests from Allah and they are; Patience, Fear of Allah and supplication.
The Prophet(Peace be upon him and his house hold) said;" Prayer is the sword of a Muslim " So it's supplications to Allah that one will use to cut through the jungles of trials and tests in order to harvest Allah's help in field of mercy.
Emp.iree, don't tell the guy to recite Surah Yasin 1000 times o, idi nta mii grin
Lol grin I know he doesnt understand and I am not really interested in long winded argument with him. I just wanted to figure out what he's up to and why he has problem with Sheikh Adam. He should calm down and reason though.

@ Royals1, you sound confused still. You concluded that if someone like you come to me for instance for a problem or two, i just have to tell you "be patient". I dont have problem with that.

But give me evidence that giving someone dua to make is haram...pls?. And even at that, alfa would still advise you to be patient.

You are just threading. Enough said now. Ramadan Mubarak
