Sports › Npfl All Stars To Participate In Carranza And Laliga World Tournament by Empredboy(op): 3:37am On Jun 27, 2016 |
An All Stars cast of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players will embark on an international friendly tour of Spain as part of the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the the League Management Company (LMC) and the Spanish Football League, LaLiga. Chairman of the LMC, Shehu Dikko announced the firming of the plans for the tour after a meeting in Abuja on Friday with LaLiga Africa Representative, Antonio Barradas. He said the NPFL All Stars selected side will play in the Carranza & LaLiga World Tournament and also against Valencia CF. For the Carranza and LaLiga World Tournament, the NPFL All Stars will play Malaga CF on August 12 and 13 but before then, will play their first game in Spain against Valencia CF on August 10. The Ramon de Carranza Trophy is a pre-season tournament organized by Cadiz CF in memory of its former President, Ramon de Carranza. It has been played since 1955 and is rated one of the prestigious summer tournaments in Spain alongside the Teresa Herrera Trophy. Sevilla CF won the inaugural edition in 1955 while Atletico Madrid are the defending champions. Some of the top European and South American teams that have participated in the tournament include 2012 winners, Club Desportivo Nacional and Benfica of Portugal, Sampdoria of Italy, Flamengo and Vasco Da Gama of Brazil amongst others. The NPFL/LaLiga partnership was consummated at the Abuja Hilton on April 26 and provides for extensive collaboration between the two leagues in the areas of players development, management capacity building and knowledge sharing. “We are delighted to confirm that there will be an NPFL All Stars team to participate World Tournament which is part of the pre-season activities of the two Spanish Clubs, Valencia CF and Malaga CF on August 10, 12 and 13. “The NPFL All Stars team will be made up of the best players in the league this season and it will offer them the opportunity of showcasing their abilities and possibly secure offers from any European club as the match will be broadcast live on some European television channels”, Dikko stated. The LMC Chairman said the implementation of the friendly match exchange is in line with the agreement with LaLiga to have clubs from both leagues visit the other adding that it is expected that in the near future, Spanish Clubs will undertake a friendly tour of Nigeria as well. Dikko also disclosed that the visit will provide opportunity for selected Club Administrators to have a close study of club management, match day organization and other activities for the good administration of clubs in the league through scheduled interactions with LalIga clubs’ top officials. |

webincomeplus: Which blogging platform are you on? If it's Blogger, the answer is YES. If it's , the answer is NO. so between bloggers and wordpress which one is better? Can change to bloggers? |
Webmasters › Re: The Truths About Blogging: My 2 Cents To Wannabe Nigerian Bloggers by Empredboy(m): 10:33am On Jun 16, 2016 |
webincomeplus: Everyone and their dogs are creating blogs everyday. Yes, that's because blogging can be very lucrative. After all, Linda Ikeji, Uche Pedro, and several others are proofs to that effect.
But with the rate at which everyone is hopping onto the bandwagon of blogging, one might start to get worried about competition and all that. My friend, the truth is there are much fewer successful blogs than useless ones that will never make a dime. So, the blogosphere might seem saturated, but there's always room for new entrants to turn blogging into a business if they play their cards right.
Here in Nigeria, we have several thousands of people who claim to be bloggers, but the truth is only few of these people really make decent income online. Majority of blogs run by Nigerians are either struggling or outright failures. So, there's no fierce competition! Unless you think competition entails running a race with failed ventures.
Now, let's talk about how to become a successful blogger in Nigeria.
You've probably been told that all you need to do to start making money from blogging is to create a free blog, copy interesting articles from other blogs (or probably formulate lies and false news), slap up Adsense ads, and sit back to watch your bank account grow fatter. My friend, that's bullshi.t.
Now, let me ask you this: If you already read an interesting news update on Linda Ikeji's blog or Vanguard newspaper's website, would you still go ahead to click on the link to the same news posted by one unknown blogger? No, you won't! That explains why copy-and-paste blogging is one of the best ways in the world to waste your precious time.
And it drives me crazy when anyone tells me he/she wants to start an entertainment/celebrity gist blog. For crying out loud, that's one of the niches where it's hardest to be creative, and to attract an audience. I'm not saying you can't build a successful entertainment blog now, but it's far more difficult than what obtains in other niches.
So, your first step towards becoming a successful blogger in Nigeria is to find a niche that allows for expression of creativity. One that you're passionate and knowledgeable about. And most importantly, one that Nigerians (or others outside) are searching the web for information on.
I understand that you probably read physics with electronics in the university. But if you start a blog on that topics just because you're an expert on it, your blog would be read by you, one of your siblings, and probably your fiancee.
So, the most important factor to consider when choosing a topic to blog about, to me, is not interest or passion. It's a market for that topic! Although interest and passion are equally important, an impressive number of online followership of that topic is more important because that's what determines how much money you'll make. Well, the financial worth of your target audience is also something worth considering.
Yes, virtually every Nigerian is interested about entertainment and celebrity gist. And they search Google for information regarding celebs and others. But entertainment isn't the only lucrative niche. Others include job search/careers, visa acquisition tips, education-related information, and lots more (see here].
I still have a lot to teach as far as blogging in Nigeria is concerned. But let me stop here for now. I'll be back to continue.
PS. Pardon any typographical, grammatical, or style errors you see in this piece. I typed this quickly and didn't bother to edit. Nice points. Please can i open a google Adsense account on my free blog? |

Food › Goverment Please Open Our Borders by Empredboy(op): 4:59pm On Jun 14, 2016 |
The way this ban on importation of rice is going on in this country i hope it won't end up like frozen chicken paparazzi. Since obasanjo banned importation of frozen chicken we are yet to see made in nigeria frozen chicken. Naija which way. I think goverment should open up the borders to allow various kind of food to come in cos nigeria do not have enough food to take Care of her ever growing population. People may argue that importing food will affect our currency and also kill the local market. My response to such statement is that we don't have local market in the First place cos the rice in kebbi state, lagos state have not even taken off also the ofada and abakiliki have never been in recognition in the market. Infact a little survey done on these local rice shows that our youth especially the city youth don't know much about ofada and abakiliki but are quick to recognise aroso or argric. |

Anas09: You see yourself? Hahahahahahahaha. O dear. Guy, the Church was not build on Peter. The church is built on the REVELATION Peter had of Christ. If you Insist that Peter was the Rock the church is built on, you must also insist that Peter is SATAN. because in that same Matt 16 verse 18 where Christ made that pronouncement, in verse 23 of that same chapter, he call Peter Satan, and said he was an offense to him. Do you agree? Stop quoting bible this way. What was christ promise to peter's Church? What was the reason why christ said to peter get behind me? Was peter under the guidance of the holy spirit in the second one compare to the First one? Remember the response christ gave to him "not by flesh but my father in heaven" so get behind me satan is a fallable statement that GOs, pope say each time. Example GO of winner chapel said during the election that GEJ will win. Does it me the holy 2016 spirit had left him? Did the bible tell u that the holy spirit descended on peter to warrant christ statement of 'get behind me satan "? But it did when he declared who christ was. |

Anas09: . Yet the Catholic fought with rigour to wipe it's existence from man. Do you know that anyone who tries to keep the Bible away from man by burning up the scriptures is antichrist Scriptures, and antichrist? The Catholic Church burnt Bibles like no one organization has ever done. Even Islam hasn't done the kind of damage the Catholic Church did and is still doing to Christiandom. You keep hailing yourselves for compiling the Bible, almost to the point of making it sound like the Catholic Church wrote the Bible. Clap for yourself. tell us the bible part that was burnt by the Catholic Church |

MRSALT: Buhari has finally destroyed the most robust economy in Africa just within one year. Some people will come now and say former administration is the cause. But in the history of Nigeria, there are times we had no foreign reserve and the sell of crude oil was as low as $35 dollars per barrel, yet banks did not regulate the amount of cash an individual could withdraw. May Nigeria never go Greece way. If you do not understand, the banks are indirectly saying 'there is no money' because people are withdrawing cash from their accounts in order to buy dollars from the black markets . Now, banks have no dollars to sell and they have no cash to give you. tell us the period when there was no rserve and crude oil was $35 at the same time. Did u read the news at all? Its say TSA is the major reason why banks have financial problem. If u are an economist or accountant u will know that the banks are not PRUDENT and they are not truly showing the true reflect of our economy. An adage says "a financial house is the reflection of an economy" meaning our banks are claiming they were wealthy like barclays bank yet they can't lead money to geninue business men and women instead they loan it to politicians who they aid to do money laundry and steal from govt. Why wont they declare abnormal profit? Now is when we will know a real bank cos they will be made to work for money and not collecting awuf money. Please leave the President out of this |
