As much as you have sponsored different applications in the past, each application is always treated individually and differently. I also recently invited my sister for same reason as yours and she got her visa approved 2weeks ago. First thing i noted is the Eco might not have taken into consideration your savings account cos savings account is considered as funds not readily available to you cos it's meant to be saved. I actually applied with my current account which even had less balance than yours, so if you could keep it simple with just your current acct along with your payslip. Another thing is your sister’s personal circumstances will be considered to a larger extent than yours so you need to put in place her finances so she doesn’t get denied again. These are the things i did with my sister’s application if it would help: Me: Invitation letter Account statement Payslips & offer letter Passport & BRP Birth certificate to show we have same parents My sister: Introduction letter from her work Offer letter and payslips Statement of account with about 450k Fixed deposit certificate of 1m. Cover letter explaining the funds in her acct. I stated i was sponsoring her trip and i think it helped that i sent to her account 350k for flight to show commitment from my end. All the best as you reapply. chomc: Many thanks for your response. Trust me ekpetek I have sponsored a few and even worse applications withut issues and I can be pretty detailed. My invitation letter clearly stated evidence of funds and my saving account was mentioned. As one. I only added my salary account to back up the payslips which I know is a requirement.
So the ECO completely disregarding it unreal to me. It’s my account . It’s not a business account . The ECO didn’t even mention seeing it. Which makes me feel he/she didn’t see it. Aren’t they supposed to take into consideration all evidence of funds supplied? Why should they choose an account with little money against another that has high balance . I’m struggling
The 750k income is her salary also they haven’t mentioned she received 1.2m annually from her husband or is that not an income. These was all clearly stated on the app and the supporting info section. . Her business makes way over that. She just doesn’t build her savings but alas I stated I am fully sponsoring. She didn’t include the sole signatory doc because she isn’t sponsoring herself . And mo money is being taken from the business account which has over 3 million at the time.
I plan to reapply tonight and add a complaint . Can I use the same sets of docs. She only applied 3 weeks ago and all docs have either may 2o18 date or last week April.
I plan to reprint my savings account and scan it down to her in colour.
I am happy to ask her to obtain the letter of sole signatory from the bank . But again this isn’t a requirement as far as I am concerned. She isnt spending from that account. She only added it there to back up her business
What’s your take on using the same set of docs. I hope to get her an appointment slot early next week . But will re apply tonight |

Enybaby2018: Thank you. Would that be all? Pics of me and daughter,Birth Cert and consent letter from father? are these the 3 documents i should include to the other ones i listed?
Your daughter birth certificate. Some photo of you and your daughter together. Yes her father consent is necessary since you’re not married to him. In addition to that, you could also get an affidavit of single mother at the high court for your records. Thats what i use for all my son’s visa application. |

fbimbola: Yes Having a UK visa does not mean you still cant be turned back at POE. Based on my first experience at Heathrow some years back, the immigration officer even called my hotel to confirm if i have a booking with them. Be warned. |

I just stumbled on this thread and it kept me entertained for about 2hrs. Asking people to stay clear of Uk because of its unattractive immigration path is not being objective. I came down to the UK about 6 months ago and i knew what i was getting into before i made that decision, did all my research and still went ahead (Justwise, remember me?). My first job here is with an insurance company that is also a tier2 sponsor and 4 months after got another job with an ad company that has offered me a full time job upon completion of my Msc. Its not all gloomy as we paint it, i did my research thoroughly, applied for a course where I already have years of work experience in Nigeria and started applying to tier 2 sponsors (even for part time job) immediately i got here. This is to help someone that its not all gloomy as its being painted, you’ve got to be focused and work your butt off, trust me my daily life is not a walk in the park but i push because i had a goal from the onset and no nay-sayer is going to deter me and that is yielding good results. Ire ooo. |

Shooo! Easy bro, i tell you i get tv for house? EfemenaXY: Biko just pay up and free your mind. I don’t understand how people can sleep “peacefully” while living in fear.
Besides, they’ll eventually catch up with you. Why risk prosecution + £1000 penalty fine + legal costs and/or any compensation you may be ordered to pay, just because of £147?? |

I give up You are exhausting Pidgin2: Quit sounding like a broken record. How many banks have you negotiated with, are there not many options available for you to chose what fits ts you need, people even do these things for others at lesser interest rates, such a person to try "Ajor" scheme, it helps. |

I know you are pushing fixed deposit cos thats what counts for you as a banker and treasury bill doesn’t because it belongs to cbn but to be unbiased treasury bills is the better option anyday. Aside the fact that its interest rate is always higher, your interest Exempt from tax unlike fixed deposit. ladylco: You really need to understand the principles of these instruments to know which one works for you, also all other considering factors.
It all depends on what you are looking at.
If you are looking at long time financial security, them TBills it is, but when looking at a short time investment returns I will advise you scout for the best FD rate you can get in the market and go for it. |

Anything is possible if you set your mind to it, but i will call your attention to some points. Bringing a child to the Uk to study is tough not to talk of 3. Juggling school work and children is not beans even if you are so rich that you could afford it. I have a support system here but even at that there are days i dont get to see my son cos i school and work as well. That being said, i processed our visas together at the same time as advised by the gurus on this platform and we got it, so I’ll advise you do so. I’ll also advise you go either with your spouse or mother to help with the kids if you insist on going with them. All the best. sweetgal81: By God's Grace l think l can, truth is l just want to leave with my kids, tried Canada and it failed. Im hoping that after the Two years MBA l will apply to Canada for a PHD. Still open to suggestions |

No one gets anywhere with this kind of attitude of entitlement.you want something? Then you work for it, my dear, uk education system is so far from Nigerian system and you will learn to search for every needle in the sack by yourself. Fixed deposit is no-no, your brother as well. The options you have is liquidate the funds and transfer to your acct for the 28 days count or liquidate into your dad’s account and he supports with a sponsorship letter. All the best. coolsegun2002: I know this is ur thread....u seem like the controller.....I don't know that's why i'm asking, isn't that what the thread is for??...the beginning of that thread u directed me to...I've been there and I ddnt see any question or ur comment relating to fixed deposit weda one can use it or not and how one can use it....may be I'm searching in a rush cos I'm a bit in a hurry...but anyways thanks for not saying all thesame...have a great day |

It depends on your POE and if that's your first time in the Uk. My POE was manchester airport and its noted as one of the friendliest poe in the UK, moreover this wasnt my first time in the Uk, so my experience might not accurately work with you. I was only asked what i was here for which is to study, the guy asked for my passport and landing card, asked to take my fingerprint and stamped my passport in. That was all for me. Bukonlaaa: Please kindly respond |

Applied 1st of August. You fill two different application forms, in mine i filled yes in the section where they ask if your dependent will be travelling with you. Then you fill a new application form for your partner and click on Tier 4 dependent (partner) for him/her. rvd475: Please can I know when you applied for tier 4 visa?
Also how did you link tier 4 general application and dependent application? |

This is for those planning their trip to the UK in some days and have a very tight budget for flights. I was left with no option than to go for Royal air Moroc because its affordable and i get to the Uk same day even upon the terrible reviews online. Having flown the likes of KLM, Emirates,Air France, Qatar several times, i can confidently say the Royal Air Moroc is not a bad airline afterall.
PROS Check in was swift and orderly at both Lagos and Casablanca. Take off was ontime without any form of delay. Inflight meal was good, even my picky son finished his meal. All my 6 lugagges arrived in one piece. I got to the Uk within 8hrs even though it wasnt a direct flight
CONS No inflight entertainment so if you dont sleep on flights just like me then i'll advise you hold a book to read so you dont get so bored.
My experience at the POE was the shortest i ever had, spent less than 5 seconds and my son and i were stamped in without asking for a single document. Also note that i went on one-way ticket and no issues was raised at any point of the trip.
Wishing all those awaiting their visas all the best. |

rvd475: Hi guys, Question: Tier 4 general and dependent can apply on the same day/together? Sure, i applied for my son and i the same day and together. I'm applying for Msc, from outside U.K and planning to submit my application to vfs in October, say Oct 15th. Can my spouse too apply on the same date? I have been hearing that dependent can only apply when the tier 4 general applicant has arrive to the U.K. Please can someone help to clear my confusion? you can either apply together or separately but the choice is yours.
Many thanks in advance!! |

Every bank you try has outrageous rate cos that's where they make their small income. I'll advise you change with the BDCs, pay into a pounds account and transfer directly to the school. Aside the outrageous rate, the hidden charges that comes with form A is unbelievable. Dynamitehimself: WTF that's ridiculous. Plz who has tried any other bank plz |

@feeyonce, thanks for the heads up. Please could you advise with the dates u go this amount for as I'll also be traveling in 2 weeks time. Thanks. Feeyonce: Hey guys, I just thought to give out this information, for those looking for flight. I was able to book Airfrance to London with only 1hr few minutes layover in CDG Paris, total flight time is 8hrs45mins and its 302k, though from Abuja. It's better than Air Maroc and all other long layovers and cheaper. I booked on travelstart.com.ng. My flight is in 2 weeks time though. Goodluck to us all. |
