Yes they are regular mails and you are on track.

All the best.

Justwise has addressed this issue so many times, no one has been denied visa due to unstable exchange rate that you have no control over.

Bane001:
House,

what's the way out to the inflated oanda rates prior to submission?

I started my 28 day count in july when the rates were about 410naira to a pound, now its about 470.

Shall I proceed with submission with the rates I started with? Please advise.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 10:52pm On Aug 16, 2017
Please when did you apply?
Standard or priority?
Did you send them an enquiry mail to get this response?

ajoke007:
Got this mail today. Anyone else? The tension is real.

For where? That's where they make their own income.
At a point i almost changed to pounds with aboki and transfer the tuition fee to my school directly as that was a cheaper option at that point.

hitunes:
For tuition fee? Thought dey suppose to use cbn rate 4 dat.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 5:56pm On Aug 16, 2017
Banks use black market rate and not cbn rate. Some days their rate is even a little higher than black market's.

hitunes:
Hello guys,
I want to know if form A make use of the cbn exchange rate which is $305.60 or 375 which is the black market rate. My bank told me they will use $375 which am kind of confused about.

Thanks

Hello everyone hope we all had a nice day. Please I have a question. My husband and child applied for a visit visa since June 14th to attend my graduation in UK which has passed until now no notification from UKVI. Now we want to withdraw the application because we need the passports for other important things but don't know how to go about it. Have tried contacting the home office of which they requested their information for it to be escalated yet nothing. Does anyone know the fastest way one can withdraw applications and have the passports returned immediately without calling or sending emails to home office? Because I have done all that and it yielded no result.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 10:21am On Aug 14, 2017
Hi Susom, our applications both have same timeline, i'll appreciate if you could update the house whenever there is a change in your application status.

Thank you.

Susom:
I paid for Priority Access, Submitted my application at the centre in Abuja on 3rd August, it was sent to sheffield that same day but, decision is yet to be made. So what i think is paying for Priority Access means that your application will be pushed to the front from the centre however, (Correct me if I am wrong) I dont think the Officers in Sheffield will leave other applications to attend to yours. Premium Access might be different tho. Also Remember that this is Summer, so many people are travelling

I'll advise you submit your application and pick appointment date because time is no longer on your hands due to the present long processing time. Then send a mail to your school to correct and update your CAS, that shouldnt take more than a day or 2 to update it

quote author=Question1 post=59396248]What about this ?

Lastly, I just figured that my uni made a slight mistake on my final cas, My CAS has my Place of Birth to be "ABEOKUTA" While It was "LAGOS" according to my passport. I wanted to submit my visa application this night or tomorrow morning before, so should have to wait for my Uni to rectify the error, or I should just submit, and pick a date whiles the Uni do the correction on Monday?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 9:04am On Aug 12, 2017
Pls dont get your self worked up dear, your CAS is explanatory enough. I got a scholarship as well from my school and it wasn't stated on my CAS but calculated as fees paid, it was added to the amount i paid and that was it.

quote author=Question1 post=59391189]

@ Justwise, I was confused about it so I screenshot that section and forwarded it to my school. Here is the case. My total tuition fee on my offer letter then was 15k. And There was international Student scholarship of 6k for me, and I paid the remaining 9k to the school myself. So, when I received my CAS letter, in the Financial Data, it shows COURSE FEE: 9k, underneath it I saw COURSE FEE PAID: 9k. And that was all, there was nothing like 15k on my CAS letter. Except that towards the end of the letter, My School noted something like this:This student has been awarded a University of East Anglia International Office Excellence Scholarship which will
provide a reduction of £6000.00 per year in the international tuition fee of £15000.00. The course fee shown
includes the fee reduction.

So I became super confused and I mailed my school for clarification and they said: I’ve checked the advice from our International Student Advisory team and the questions regarding the financial sponsor is usually for official sponsors – such as Governments or financial sponsors who are wholly sponsoring students. You would not fall in to this category with your scholarship from the UEA, therefore you should answer “no” to the question about receiving support from a financial sponsor.
As we have given you a scholarship your fees will only be £9,000, therefore you should state your fees as £9,000 on your visa application. If you stated your fees as £15,000 you would need to show evidence that you can fund this amount, however you don’t need to fund £15,000 as your tuition fees are only £9,000 because of your UEA scholarship.

Oga, kindly help me oh
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 7:15pm On Aug 11, 2017
@question2, did you use the priority service?

M
Question2:
Mine changed in less than one week after submission. I don't think this means much. I applied online on 31st July, I paid for the visa on 1st August and did my interview and submission on the 2nd August. My application was received by UKVI on 4th August but no decision mail yet. It's now 7 working days.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 2:23pm On Aug 10, 2017
Not all Visa officers are patient enough to check every details of your statement, he/she might only check your opening balance and closing balance. In the light of this, i'll advise you print your statement from the 13th (that is when your opening balance will reflect the 6m), there is no rule that says you must show where all the money came from.

Question1:
So going by this how will the Visa officer know when I started my 28days?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 1:56pm On Aug 10, 2017
your 28 days count and your statement opening balance should start on the day your money totals N4.3m

Question1:
I need £9,135. That's 4.3m at today's rate.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 1:37pm On Aug 10, 2017
First of all how much do you need to show in your account?

Because, your opening balance should be the amount required which you might now grow overtime to reflect in your closing balance.

Question1:
Hello guys,

Someone should please clarify this for me as I don't want to make any error. I have printed my bank Statement, have had several deposits in my account which eventually totaled 6 million as at 12 July, however I stated my 28 days on the following day 13 July and I printed my statement today, 10 August 2017.

Now, my statement shows.. Statement Period: 12-July-2017 to 10-August 2017. It also shows an opening balance of 3,054,000 and a closing balance of 6,054,129.... Is that reasonable?

Also, GT bank staff told me they don't issue a cover/reference letter for a saving account holder, so they didn't give me.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 11:37am On Aug 09, 2017
I dont think that should affect your application, since they know there is no way you could proceed with your visa payment without the IHS payment.

Were you able to print the IHS transaction confirmation email?

5hyguy:
Hello guys, i just applied for my student tier 4 visa application, but i d hid not write my IHS number on my visa application form i was not aware, but i submitted the confirmation page that was sent to me as part of my supporting documents.

is there any possibility not writing the number on my application form will affect me?

Thanks
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Endlessgrace: 10:13am On Aug 09, 2017
What school is that?

Due to peak period, i'll advise you go for priority service so you could have ample time to prepare for your travelling.

sleyflash:
Hello house, I finally just got a mail from my school stating the amount I need to leave in my account for 28 days after which i'm to print the account statement and send the account statement so that my CAS number can be sent to me to use for the tier 4 visa application.

But, my question is I will be making the deposit £15700 on friday 11/08/17 into my acct and the school's resumption date is 18/09/17. Can I meet up witg standard visa application or I better go for priority visa?

Also I heard students can still resume 2 weeks after normal resumption date?

Thanks.. please I need urgent response. God bless you

Sure you can. I applied with three bank accounts all in my name.

udemski:
Please, I want to ask if it's advisable to apply with 2 account to show as prove of maintenance fund. Reason is because, she paid complete 1st year tuition fee and now put in money for maintenance fund account @ 450 even when the oanda rate was @ 402 but now oanda rate is @ 473 she now need 300,000 which she have in another bank for more than 4 month. Now can she submit 2 account statement from 1st bank and Skye Bank all bearing her name. Or is there any place in the UK tier 4 visa tier Procedure

Hello,
I applied for a six months student visa to the Uk in April and I was denied on the basis of my personal economic status. My dad don't have the money to sponsor me so My uncle was my sponsor and he is boyant and has paid the full fee to the school. My application was OK but they judged me based on my personal circumstance, that they are not sure I will return or finance my stay without a third party.I only emitted my uncles statement of account and my dad's concent letter together with other documents.

Now I want to reapply and this time around I want to emit my uncles statement again since he was d one that paid my tuition fee and also my personal account because my uncle paid in 3million as my maintenance fee which am to leave in my account for 28days but he told my dad to write in his consent letter that he (my dad) paid in the money to support me. Also my dad has a company which he made me one of his directors when I was still in sec school. He want to submit that to show my ties to my country.
Please my question is can I get the visa this way?

The date of your online submission is the rate you use, please dont get confused.

samakinfol:
I will really need to clarify something, is it the rate on the day you day you started counting the 28days that will be used or the rate on the day you printed your bank statement on Oanda?

Good day all, I just joined this platform and this is my first post.Firstly let me thank you all for the very information and helpful posts I have read so far. Thanks for sharing.

Question 1, Which visa should I apply for? I will be travelling to the US next month with Virgin Atlantic. I will stop over at Heathrow for 3 hours when going and 15 hours when returning back. I have made all checks and certain that I do not need a transit visa. Now I would like to apply for a UK visa 6 months Standard Visitor or 48 hour transit visa to enable me stop in London for a few days instead of waiting at the Airport for 15 hours (My ticket is amendable).

Question 2 Am I eligible to use the Priority Visa Service (since my travel date is the 15th of August)? My last UK visa was a 2 year family visitor visa in 2012 which was denied initially and later granted when I appealed the decision. I saw the below information on the TLS website.
My visit visa was approved in 2days (used priority service) even after 2 visa refusals in the past. so you are good to go with the priority visa service

Customers who fall into the following categories are advised not use the Priority Visa Service :You should be aware that you may experience extended processing times if any of the following factors apply, if you have:

• previously been refused a visa for the UK, and/or;

Please advise accordingly. Thank you.

Hi,thanks very much for this site! Very helpful. Can anyone help pls?I travelled to the UK 2008,i overstayed my 6month UK visa .I spent 8years in the UK without paper..I came back to Niger to do a fresh application for 6month...Bt in 2008 wen entering the UK I thumprinted and did a finger print respectively... My question is I head another new passport now with same name on it..pls if I apply now will UKBA issue me a visa?hope I wouldn't have any problems cos of my past?
New or Old passport, your history and details is well saved with UKVI, so i will advise you get a good immigration lawyer for a proper advice before you apply or else you will just dash them free visa fees as your application will likely be denied.

Please what relationship do you mean, it it my fathers?
Which of the options would you advise me to use, my father or friend?
I will advise you use your father's support as against your friend.
Having a link over there poses more threat to your application, you need to show more ties to Nigeria and less ties to the Uk since you previously schooled there.

Use your dad's CAC documents and account statement to support your application and it will be approved God willing.

Hello everyone.thanks for all the informative posts. I want to ask if
1. The value added service - **NEW** Application and Document Checks £ 30 per Applicant is worth it.
Not required if you are already on this platform
2. is it compulsory the statement is dated for exactly one month
28 days and above
3. The statement i have is in my parents company name but there is an attached letter from the bank saying they are both signatories. Will that be an issue
Yes it is an issue because statement should only be in your name, your parents or legal guardian (with necessary documents to back it)
4. I got the statement a month ago because i intended to apply earlier but couldn't due to some issues with thr sch. Is it outdated?
[b]Yes please, print an updated one, your printed statement cannot be used after 30days from date of initial print

my interview is on friday so there is little i can do and i only came across this forum tonight but i want to be prepared just in case.

I really appreciate all the efforts going into this forum. God bless.
