I'm an Igbo and I voted GMB because of my strong belief that gej may never do any better than he has done already.

But instead of castigating my kinsmen for their decision I will rather praise them for being "united" in their support for gej, whether for good or bad reasons at least they were united and unity is strength.

If GMB is wise he should cash in on that strength when he eventually comes in. All he need do is to convince them. Like it or not, the Igbos remain the number one tribe with the best potentials in Nigeria. If Buhari will succeed he needs the Igbos to succeed and when the chips are down he may find the Igbos only standing with him like they did for "failing and wobbling" Jonathan.

I rather Patience Jonathan becomes the next Nigerian president than for Nyesom Wike(d) to rule Rivers State.

I pray they disqualify him, even a goat will get my vote before Jonathan. The desire for change is now a movement and not about any candidate.

There are good reasons not to believe this story;

1. It's only pdp that has been worried about the election holding at all because it's obvious GMB has become a "movement" rather than a candidate for a lot of Nigerians and in a free and fair election Jonathan will never win the election.

2. Rather than help jega overcome "any problem" he may have, Jonathan is doing everything possible to stall the election citing the perceived problems as his excuse.

3. Given the above, pdp is deeply worried that the only alternative out of the pending doom is to announce Jonathan as winner whether by hook or crook which Radio Chanji will counter and hence the possibility of chaos.

These are my fears and I totally disbelieve this story.

Whether he will finish his first term depends on his performance and not politics.

The constitution does not guarantee anybody any 8 years, that's why it provides for impeachment. It only allows an executive a maximum stay of 8 years notwithstanding his performance.

That's why jonathan will leave just after his first tenure (glaring incompetence). We will vote in Buhari but we will monitor him day by day, week by week.
