Breakup comes in all shapes and sizes, some are mild and painless while some just knock you down like the love you once felt. Sometimes you just need time to heal that wound, Most of us intrinsically understand that not all relationship are meant to last forever, while some of us find ourselves going back and forth with exes that have hurt us and still hurting us. If its been months and you're feeling like you want to call your ex or checkout his Facebook account to see how fast he has gotten over you and moved on, my advice don't do it, not to worry here are some tips that will certainly help heal that wound called a heart.

1) Let go of the fantasy If you really desire to totally move on you have to let go of the fantasy that your partner might come running back to you it might have worked for someone else where they broke up, came back and lived happily ever after. Avoid putting yourself through that misery, because you'll only hurt yourself more. Think of it this way if your ex is strong enough not to want anything to do with you then you are stronger.

2) Stop being too Hard on yourself Self pity is allowed once in a while, allow yourself to cry because if you don't, you'll repress your feelings until you break down at the most inappropriate place, stop blaming yourself for what happened. Give yourself sufficient time to mourn the relationship and stop feeling bad about yourself. Be kind to yourself try to move past the "it's my fault" to "I did my best". And the world will begin to notice how fun you are to be with.

3) Forgive Before you can even think of adhering to other tips you need to help you forget about your ex, you need to forgive him. Avoid trying to take revenge on him, forgiveness is the only key to recovery, forgive whatever he did to you its not worth getting him in trouble at work, before his family and friends, and before his beau. Don't spread rumours about him, don't stalk him, don't attack him in anyway let go of the negativity it only ties you to something you'd rather move on from--the best revenge is for you forgiving, moving on, and feeling better about yourself .

4) Cut all ties with your ex It takes emotional intelligence to accept the "cut off all contact" as suggested by everyone who has a piece of advice to give about moving on. My point limit the chance of making such mistakes of contacting your ex as much as possible; it means don't try your ex's number, if it means blocking him on all your social media handles so be it. If you really want to heal and move on it means cutting him off no matter how difficult it is- even when you're tempted to hear his voice don't do it. Get rid of things that constantly reminds you of him.

5) Avoid posting on social media Do not air your grieve on social media because it has not helped anyone, and it is no good. In my opinion stop sharing how much hurt you feel, and avoid posting things that link you back to your ex or indirectly aim at your ex it might be embarrassing later.

6) Find a new hobby Indulge yourself in new activities- even if you did most of the things you called fun with him in the past. Master that new skill that you have always wanted to do; try something to take your mind off your heart break, something that will open you to new opportunities -take this as a cue to discover new fun places in your city that you haven't visited, start the programme you have been procrastinating, discover new artist and entertainment option that you can enjoy on your own.

7) Hang out meet new people In order to move on from your partner you have to remember he is not the only man on the planet there are lots of men out there who wish to have someone as good as you. No matter how you feel, you have to go out meet new people, if you stay inside, with all the memories as reminders you'll make yourself feel worse. Do not push people that are nice to you away just because one person was dumb enough to let you go. Allow yourself to be flirted with.

OP, change your title to "6 reasons why men cheat." It might make front page. And year, number your points too.
..Thanks for the heads up
Romance6 Reasons Why Men Cheat by eneazi(op):
When it comes to the issue of cheating it is no news that both the primitive and high profile men are guilty of waving their clubs around and playing their partners like the violin once in a while. There are various factors that contribute to a man cheating though some leave in denial of these facts, others blame their partners claiming 50% of the reason they stray is caused by their partners, while some are habitual cheats .The reasons below does not mean that all men are cheats, but if you find yourself in a relationship with a cheating partner you might as well check to see where you're getting it wrong. Here are some common excuses they give for cheating.

Boredom

Emotional boredom is one of the paramount reasons why some claim they cheat on their partners meaning that, most women in relationships get so secured that they stop enjoying the things that got them attracted to their partners in the first place, they stop being adventurous and innovative when it comes to matters related to the "other room". They stop being attractive and as we all know men are visual creatures some of these men claim their women become less fun to be with refusing to hang out with them, visiting the places they once considered fun, because of this they lookout for another person who can fulfill their desires.

Sexual Experiment

Most men are experimental in nature, they want to feel the difference between their partner and some random woman thereby involving in sexual experiment that is when you hear them use the phrase "variety is the spice of life" subconsciously searching for a difference that is obviously not there.

Low Self Esteem

Men with low self esteem cheat to boost their confidence and most times cheat on their partners just for attention, they even use drugs to boost their sexual activities. This type of men are uncomfortable with their body size, statute, apperance e.t.c.They are never satisfied or take responsibility for their actions all these is just to improve their self worth before people, but beneath that facade is a silent cry for acceptance.

Witness Cheating In Parent Relationship

Some men might have witnessed while growing up how their father cheated on their mother and might see this as the only way to spice up things in the relationship even when they know in their heart its wrong so they follow this very bad example set by their parent.

Insecurity

Insecurity can be tied to trust issues. With the huge amount of pressure placed on the achievement and success of a man in the society today in order to boost his almost dying ego he resolves to cheating which works just fine for him since its another way of being accepted outside his relationship.

Childhood Abuse

This is caused by responding to unresolved childhood experiences, neglect, emotional and sexual abuse most of these men were abandoned by their caregivers especially their fathers as children which has left a void in them and as such has driven them to keep strings of partners subconsciously filling this void.

The bottom line is cheating on someone you love has its consequences. If you think the person you love is at risk of getting hurt by you then talk to them about it "communication is the most vital key for any relationship to workout" it is important your partner gets to know the problem you are having in the relationship, and working it out with you than dealing with your betrayal.

Exactly...
RomanceHow To Deal With Insecurity In Relationship by eneazi(op): 8:06pm On Oct 05, 2017
It takes time to pick ourselves up after a bad relationship and when we do it makes us feel emotionally vulnerable we always feel the past will come back to bite us, we begin to suspect the people we are with and misinterprete everything they do by being anxious and practically making ourselves detective and judge over their actions even when we know our partners are decent, caring and honest people. This insecurity has led people to end their relationships before their partners even get a hint of what is happening with the excuse that it is better to walk away rather than risk the hurt of being abandoned.

An insecured person can confuse imagination with reality, just like the artist considers painting as a pathway across dimensions, same can be said of the way an insecured perceive their his/her partner in a thousand way. They feel every acquaintance or friend is concealing something about their partner they are not aware of. The over imaginative insecured will take a friendly chat with the waitress at the restaurant as flirting. They always assume their imagination represent reality when it's the opposite. It's important to differentiate between imagination and reality.

Most of the time we let what has happened to us bend our perception of what is happening now making us to become too demanding and clingy. A friend of mine who was dealing with insecurity told me of how she gets suspicious anytime her husband steps out of the house, and whenever he was quiet I remember telling her that "if you let the man be him, he will respect you enough not to disrespect you" My point respect your partner's privacy, stop the jealousy thing and the mind reading game, just as you have the rights to your thoughts without being questioned so does your partner give your relationship a room to breathe.

Take it or leave it people respond to their relationship based on past experience. If they were with an abusive person in the past they become defensive by so doing controlling their partner. If you really want to deal with insecurity in relationship it entails becoming less controlling stop putting pressure on your partner like this is what you want, this is how you want this and that done, setting some scary trap for them or trying out some kind of love test just to know if they really love you or not. This kind of things cause tension in relationship looking for uncertainty where it doesn't exist by questioning your partner's efforts let go of the uncertainty and enjoy what you have because nothing in the life you have is certain.

I believe there is good in all of us, everyone has that good thing peculiar to them, well until the person is pushed to the wall. My point is better you focus on the good side of your partner. To help you with this i suggest you write a list of all the things you like about them and what you dislike beside it. If the good supercedes the wrong i suggest it's about time you focus on the good.

RomanceBefore You Say I Do by eneazi(op): 11:52am On Sep 30, 2017
It's another Saturday, another day of the week to play dress up, well before you go struggling to catch the bouquet with a hundred other single ladies at the wedding reception, and using all the tricks in your little book to get him marry you before the end of 2017. Here are some questions you need to ask yourself.

Does he support and accept you for who you are? There are a lot of people that immediately they get married have become someone else, they become a shadow of their old self.

Does he accept your opinions, is he judgemental about the way you look? Does he share the same interest with you?..You might love good music, movies, and might be an adventurous person who love to see the world, use the little you have to feed the less privileged, but he sees all this as a waste of good time and resources. Think!

Does he question your beliefs, does he question your interest in things, does he question your association? Does he make fun of your body size by comparing you to some other girls? Is he your number one fan or not? He thinks you are not smart enough, but every other person thinks you are a star, is he ashamed of being seen with you in public?

If your answers to these questions is NO! then it's about time you have a rethink. Your happiness is not negotiable.
