PoliticsRe: Female Workers In Michael Okpara Univ. Umudike Protest Salary Deduction - Photo by ENEONWO(m): 8:53am On Feb 24, 2016
Before we hastily condemn the V-C, let us confirm whether those women are (1) casual staff (sweepers/cleaner on casual appointment). (2) The conditions of their engagement (whether it is merely on the basis of Corporate Social Responsibility) (3) How long they have been engaged (considering the Labour Organistion stance on casualization) (4) When last they got pay increase and the circumstances that led to the increase (5) Whether the host communities have an agreement on deduction and remittances (if they were employed on community quota). This usually happens with the Igwes/Ezes (6) Whether they are working for the University under certain cleaning contractors. I say this because, i have bee privileged to intervene in such labour crisis involving people of host communities.

PoliticsRe: Ali-Modu Sheriff: Allegations of Boko Haram Connection (What the Records Say) by ENEONWO(m): 7:45am On Feb 18, 2016
LRNZH, thank you. I personally shudder at the prospects of an Ali Modu Sheriff chairmanship of the once famed Africa's biggest political party. Was it not the same PDP that vehemently accused him of sponsoring and dilly-dallying with Boko-Haram? Was PDP deceiving Nigerians with those grave allegations without having the foreknowledge that Sheriff would later become their national chairman? Could it be that they hope to deploy the full forces of Boko Haram to capture the North in 2019 elections? I shudder!

PoliticsRe: List Of Performing Governors Of Eastern Nigeria At The Moment. by ENEONWO(m): 7:40pm On Jan 29, 2016
Rochas Okorocha is currently under media siege. Rochas is doing very well in Imo, not just Owerri. I think the ''crime'' of Rochas is his role in dethroning Jonathan. I am from Enugu and i know what we are already sensing about our Governor, Ugwuanyi. If Rochas who is on his second tenure is not tired of construction works (forget the media hate), i don;t know why Ugwuanyi should be this slow.
PoliticsRe: Okorocha Sacks 3,000 Civil Servants by ENEONWO(m): 7:23pm On Jan 29, 2016
Hack writers, keep blackmailing Okorocha. While you waste your productive years in image laundering, Okorocha is busy etching his name in gold. Okorocha himself has maintained that he DID NOT sack any worker, and challenged anybody who claims otherwise to publicly show his or sack letter, yet, all PDP in Imo State does is blackmail. You cannot distract him with your cheap blackmail. If Okorocha sacks only 50 workers, one would have seen PDP sponsor mass protest with the sacked persons in the streets of Owerri. For those who care for the truth, IMO-PDP accuses Okorocha of gaining power by blackmailing Ohakim with the notorious slapping of a Catholic Priest, so, they hope to regain power by employing all manner of subterfuge and blackmail. Okorocha's only crime is that he joined the APC as a matter of personal choice and inner conviction.
PoliticsRe: What Do You Think About My Boss' Parable? by ENEONWO(m): 5:20pm On Dec 12, 2015
Your boss is the greatest fool to have ever walked the surface of the earth! By his warped argument, we should all keep developing the economy into some few pockets. We must focus all attention on developing the economy, after which some people would embezzle all the money and the next government would look the other way because your boss would accuse them of neglecting the economy at the expense of the war against corruption, so; they must also focus all attention on developing the same economy. So, we continue running in the cycles of develop-loot/embezzle-develop- loot/embezzle. Your Oga is advising that if you build a house and it is fails, you go back to build on the same place without first arresting the cause of the failure! Let me tell you that if this country must succeed, Buhari must ensure that a thorough and sustained war against corruption is done. That way, whatever progress we make will not be eroded by avaricious officers of the state, whose stock-in-trade is primitive acquisition of wealth at the expense of national development.

PoliticsRe: Videos: 15 New Rice Mills Open In Nigeria In Last 3 Years by ENEONWO(m): 11:02am On Dec 17, 2013
Apologists on the prowl. Beware, soul brothers. They want to bamboozle Nigerians into believing that the very high tariff on rice importation was not taken in the heat of alcohol! They refuse to learn from the past, & never considered the Import Substitution Policy of the 70s.This is certainly another anti-Christians policy, just like the fuel subsidy removal at a time Christians (mainly NdiIgbo) were returning to their bases after the Christmas & New year celebrations. Now, the thoughtless policy on foreign rice is coming at a period that every Christian household would need a bag of rice to celebrate the christmas! And even the local rice is not readily available. The available quantity is grossly insufficient, and so,the price of foreign rice in Port Harcourt has risen from #9000 (in Oct) to #15000 (in Dec). People take hasty decisions only to plung the people into avoidable hardships. Sometimes,i wonder why some people reason through their black "shit-holes".We know Insincere 9gerian is the same as Taharga
PoliticsRe: PDP Asks Court To Remove Defecting Governors by ENEONWO(m): 2:23pm On Dec 13, 2013
[quote author=Goddex]The battle has just begun. Owelle Judas Okorocha, APGA is waiting for you lol.

nPDP reps and Senators are wise enough by delaying announcing their own defection because of the constitutional provision against such. Let Nigerians see how the Supreme court that ruled in Omehia vs Ameachi's case will now reverse itself to rule otherwise. Stop advertising monumental ignorance. In Amechi vs Omehie, Supreme court ruled that substitution of Amechi's name wt that of Omehie by Rivers State PDP was null and void. So, by law Omehie was not a candidate for that election. Amechi by law, was d candidate on d election day since d substitution was invalid. A party does not win an election without a candidate. What that means is that if PDP won the election, it was candidate Amechi that won, not just party.Besides, executive defection is not d same as substitution of candidate b4 election. PDP knows that it has no case. D plan is to drive fear into those who plan to defect. But it wont work!
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Jonathan: The Many Battles Of A President From Minority Tribe by ENEONWO(m): 11:52am On Dec 10, 2013
Insincere9gerian is realising lately, that GEJ is loosing it. He is therefore, resorting to ARGUMENTUM AD MESIRICORDIA (Appeal to mercy/sympathy). Was it because GEJ is from the minority tribe that he refused to sign an agreement he willfully entered with ASUU, only to threaten them with sack? The most feasible option for PDP in 2015 is massive rigging, as done in Anambra.

PoliticsRe: Brother's At War...senator Gilbert Nnaji And Brother Fights Dirty Over Land by ENEONWO(m): 12:23pm On Dec 03, 2013
Ozonna: Sorry but i thought the owners of the land are pineapple farmers (I heard its a pineapple farming community)and as such would benefit immensely from the mexicans. I heard the mexican company will be buying the pineapples @ competitive market price.
Ozonna, don't mind the propaganda. The lands were aggregated and good part of the area cleared, thereby distorting boundaries. They are planting their own pineapple everywhere, using the people they recruited for #15000 per person, per month. They said the land would be partitioned and parcels could be leased on application to anyone, (whether you used to own it or not) who wishes to cultivate pineapples that would only be sold to them at their own price. What it means is that the land now belongs to the Mexicans and interested persons would lease the parcels from them, and the product must go to the Mexicans, no matter the price they fix. The matter is in court.
PoliticsRe: Brother's At War...senator Gilbert Nnaji And Brother Fights Dirty Over Land by ENEONWO(m): 7:15pm On Dec 02, 2013
@Kmariko, let me educate you more on the Land-Use Act. A land can only be acquired by government, for OVER-RIDING PUBLIC INTEREST, which is for the building of public roads, public schools, public hospitals, markets. Infact, public institutions, and not for the use of non-governmental bodies (foreign firm) whether in partnership or not. In the latter case, there must be negotiation and compensation with the land-owners. Its a the stage of negotiation and enumeration that owners show if they have something on the land or not. You cannot sit in your house and decide that one does not have anything on his land or that his crops/trees were a result of "vagaries of nature". The poor owners are still calling upon the God of justice, mind you!
PoliticsRe: Brother's At War...senator Gilbert Nnaji And Brother Fights Dirty Over Land by ENEONWO(m): 6:57pm On Dec 02, 2013
kmariko: You still haven't answered the basic question. Again how long has the land been fallowed. Has the land ever been put to productive use by the "poor" owners.

Some areas with economic trees were not a conscious effort of the owners but in most cases due to vagaries of nature and man. Which is it. If it was a conscious effort you would have been telling us about takeover of a plantation but it is not.

Lastly the road you travel to work or home was once someone's 600 acres.

Be well
Ignorance is the hallmark of mediocrity! I should recommend that you read up the steps in land acquisition. Your questions at best, expose your ignorance. In law, whatever economic tree found on a man's land is enumerated for compensation. The law does not recognise what you call vagaries of nature in that. All trees, whether antropogenically raised or not (that is raised by man or not) stands on someones portion. And the person must have needed it, if he didnt uproot it at its tender stage
PoliticsRe: Brother's At War...senator Gilbert Nnaji And Brother Fights Dirty Over Land by ENEONWO(m): 6:13pm On Dec 01, 2013
kmariko: What was on the land before Sullivan put it to use. Were they using the land productively or was it just there as has been throughout the millennium with nothing to show for it.
Your question is baseless. Are you saying that if one allows his land to fallow, it should be compulsorily acquired: no notice, no discussion/negotiation,no enumeration, no compensation, no memorandum of understanding on employment and corporate social responsibility with the benefitting Mexican firm (San Carlos)? Besides, how would you think that non of the several plots of land, belonging to several families, (totalling about 6000 hectares) would be put to any form of agric use? Well, let me tell you that the area has hundreds of thousands of economic trees : palms, mangoes, rubber, bamboos, melina, neem, plantains, banana, ogbono, etc. Some families have cash crops: pineapples, cassava, vegetables, etc. Much of the area has been cleared. The fact remains that process was not even contemplated!

vanguard1: You got it wrong, The Nike people love their father, he brought them to political limelight. The man was a also a good man which is why his children flourish in politics.
VANGUARD1, thank you for the update anyways. Yes, Igwe Edward Nnaji may have been adjudged a good man, but could he be the only good man in Enugu East? I am pretty sure that it was the Sullivan influence & the band-wagon mentality of the people (who, like their counterparts, are hungry and do not believe that their votes would count) that helped the then Hon. Gil Nnaji's senatorial ambition. When he help position of a member of the House of Reps, what were Senator Gilbert Nnaji's achievement, apart from constant use of body creams and his "fine boy" posturing? His brother, Cornelius Ike Nnaji is far more honest, intelligent and humane.
PoliticsRe: Brother's At War...senator Gilbert Nnaji And Brother Fights Dirty Over Land by ENEONWO(m): 2:22pm On Nov 30, 2013
That's what you get when touts assume power. Sullivan Chime has made Gil Nnaji believe one can grab people's land without compensation, all in the name of bringing development. Sullivan grabbed some 6000 hectares of land belonging to Ihe community (in Awgu LGA) and handed them to one foreign company named San Carlos for pineapple farm/ processing plant partnership with the State Govt. This was done without any negotiation with the land-owners, not to talk about compensation. Now, Gil Nnaji, a dormant senator, an educated illiterate has learnt the art of land-grabbing from Governor Chime's administration. Besides, if not for the unholy imprimatur of the Governor, why would two brothers and their father take the traditional rulership, Senatorial seat and LG Chairmanship post of their place? Is Nnaji family the only family in the zone? Or, were the people of Enugu East being used to compensate the royal father, Igwe Edward Nnaji and his sons?

EducationRe: Universities To Open Next Week, With Or Without ASUU - FG by ENEONWO(m): 2:21pm On Nov 01, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: I seriously pity gullible goats who believe ASUU is fighting for PROGRESS or infrastructural developments in the universities. Just imagine the current governors, ministers, civil servants, legislators, private sector workers, etc going on strike or protesting or fighting for ANYTHING other than extra-pay/allowances for their pockets. That is impossible. ASUU is fighting for more allowances for lecturers, pure and simple. The other tales of fighting for infrastructural development is a facade to deceive gullible goats.
Insincere 9gerian, you are indeed a pathetic creature, to say the very least!
PoliticsRe: APC Is The Headquarters Of Corruption In Nigeria - Metuh by ENEONWO(m): 11:05am On Oct 31, 2013
I now know that Metu is an ape. He has no sense, not even articulate. APC has been busting the bubble on the PDP-led corrupt government of Nigeria, actively clamouring for prosecution and all PDP could do is raise its leprous finger called Metu in counter-accusation! If APC is that corrupt, why has PDP not exposed them the same way they have been exposing PDP? Are they sheilding the APC from the imaginary corruption cases, so that they in turn, will not be exposed? Please, what Nigeria needs is concrete action against clear cases of corruption, not PDP's witch-hunting and counter-accusation. APC is the headquarters of corruption, then PDP is the corruption itself. Metu, indeed, is a clown. He should learn from the very thoughtful and articulate Lai Mohammed.

You see, when a similar charade about Igbo youths supporting Oduah was posted here, some gullible Yoruba dudes were busy raining insults on the entire Igbo race. Now, they have done the same with some hungry Yoruba youths. Should we now also rain insults on the entire Yoruba race. I can create one thousand and one usernames here, using native Yoruba names here to support Oduah and even attack those who seek accountability. The earlier we learnt that even among our family members, there will always be traitors, willing hands to betray the family, the better. LESSON: Every twelve (tribe) has its Judas (evil supporters).

So you APC people that have nothing better to do than support a failed party and failed candidate well goodluck.

Good to hear that you have repented from plying your ashawo "arrangee" trade. But you didnt tell me why you didnt copy the whole report in that article. When did you get this job? Hi. Have you resigned from your job of arranging ashawo for them? Why did you copy only the part of the news that favour you in that article and carefully avoided the part where the same APC vehemently denied your claims? I didnt expect any better from you, knowing you background. Keep insulting Ngige while he is on ground, putting finishing touches to his re-election bid.

Onwa n'Alor! The Onwa we know. Thank you sir. Peter Obi has sold Anambra state university education to the rich. And Obiano has promised to continue from where Obi stoped. We need you to return the poor to school. Education is a right, not a privilege of the rich. The poorer Enugu state is implementing free education from Primary 1 to JSS 3. Why must Obi and his lackey, Obiano keep making things hard for Anambrarians? And for those gullible ones who were told that Ngige didnt sponsor any bill in the senate, i advise you to check his contributions through the senate website. Or simply google "Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige". Thank you . His Excellency, Senator, Sir, Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige (Onwa n'etiri Ora n'Alor). May the God of the poor Anambrarians see you through to the Government House. Amen.

curtain: you are the gutter he needs to shut, for the fact that you are too dull to identify wires does not mean others can't, silly, randy, shabby-dressing lecturers have nothing in their brains other than intimidating unsuspecting students. ASUU deserves nothing.
. So, if you can identify wire, shouldnt other up-coming students also be given the opportunity to do same? What do you think ASUU is fighting for, other than removing all current impediments to identifying a wire? Such dullards as you, think rudimentary knowledge of a subject is all there is to that subject. Little wonder our degree certificates are worth more less than used toilet papers abroad! Your ewedu stuffed brain won't consider why wealthy Nigerian send their wards to foreign universities. Knowing that our universities lack basic learning kits, Morons like you would still accuse ASUU of producing half-baked graduates. You want ASUU to turn a base metal into gold. Use your brain for once. Its not for decoration. Olodo!

Shut that gutter of a mouth now! Who are the "we"? ASUU is taking all the pains to give value to what you call a certificate & you are there ranting. What is the use of an electrical engineer that cannot identify a wire? Get the paper and remain a novice! ASUU, pls carry on. I appreciate. The end will justify the means. HNosegbe: The part of the agreement I don't understand is one that talks about FG funding of state universities. That doesn't make sense to me - why can't states fund their own universities appropriately, or design creative financing options?

Oh well, the government signed an agreement. Let them abide by it.
HNosegbe, there is no confusion in the agreement. It was even the FG team that suggested the inclusion of the state universities to bring about uniformity. But, it has turned out to be a political gimmick aimed at 2011 votes. And for those saying ASUU is calous and insensitive, let them advise the FG to go to National Industrial Court, if they think they have a case against ASUU. Has the govt learnt the way to court only in matters concerning the newPDP?
