A Sovereign National Conference will not be open to manipulation by legislators, but National Conference can still be debated by legislators. Soon, the Advisory Committee will soon tell us what to discuss and what not to discuss, in the name of "No-Go-Areas". This govt should stop deceiving Nigerians! Its an internal Fegge layout road, which connects d upper part of Port Harcourt street, Miss Elems street and BridgeHead goat market). Pls, say what you know & stop deceiving people here! May i still put to u that1) There was no rehabilitation of NNPC Aba, except that some vandalised pipes were changed (2). The Fed. University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo,Ebonyi State is being housed by a secondary schl.Some of her events take place in Folks College Ikwo. (3)Abakaliki-Ogoja rd (a single lane) was only patched (4) Onitsha & Oguta "ports" are simply sand-dunes (5) Enugu-PH rd was also patched. Am ashamed of talking about ur Fed.Govt transformer achievements. For these insults & many more, d Igbos pay back period is 2015. No noise about it!

So, you would not be equating the level of political awareness and thought patterns of Anambrarians at the time (2003) that you claim Ngige entered into a criminal pact and now (2013). People are now wiser. If in 2003, they didnt ask questions bothering on what one had done with the opportunities he has had so far, that does not stop them from asking in 2013. Yes, an impressive CV means an impressive career part, and an impressive career should also impact the life of one's immediate community. If one does not have an impressive CV, he could be given d benefit-of-doubt, because he has not got d opportunity to prove his abilities. And if Ngige could renege on the "criminal pact" and dare the god-fathers, does it not tell u he is a man of good conscience who staked his life to liberate his people? Both ends are in Ebonyi state. If u cross the Enugu-PH rd straight from the Ishiagu end, you enter a junction leading to Ogboli-Awgu in Enugu state, but that does not mean the rd starts, ends or even passes thro any part of Enugu state. U get that? Now,back to my qstns:what was rehabilitated in NNPC-Aba? When did BridgeHead-Upper Iweka axis become 10 lane, or even 3 lanes? Airport looks like the Garriki motor-park. 9 new Universities approved,& d South East,out of 6 geopoltical zones, got 1. Whats special? The university is housed by a secondary schl. But seriously, are we so gullible as to be commenting over lies? Look at the source of that news & you see that nothing of such happened. Besides, there's no party called ANPP, CPC or ACN in Nigeria. They ceased to exist when they merged into APC & a certificate of registeration issue to APC.

That's a political strategy by Peter Obi to amass thousands of votes from 5000 families and their relations (kiths & kins) for his APGA governorship candidate. The campaign will soon be about APGA creating jobs, thereby giving the people false hope. Otherwise, why would he start employment exercise 2 months to governorship election, after spending 7 years and 6 months without the jobs that he wants he is so passionate about. Ikedi Ohakim tried it in Imo and failed. Anambrarians are no fools. They will react with their votes because they know the man who create more jobs.

@op, what are you up to? Stop being naive. There is no political party called CPC anymore.With the merger and formation of APC, the ACN, ANPP and CPC ceased to exist. Infact, their certificates of registeration have been withdrawn & a single certificate issued in the name of APC. And concerning APC Anambra governorship primaries, i would rather believe you are being mischevious. Otherwise, why would you think that Ngige was imposed in an open ballot election, why voters had to queu/stand behind their prefered candidates and were then counted, with Dr Chris Ngige, making so many rows/queus amounting to over 60,000 against Chief Godwin Ezemo's 6000+? Which other party could have adopted that kind of open ballot, if not the APC? With that alone, APC has demonstrated enough internal democracy as to win my vote.

By insinuating that APC had no particular candidate in mind before forming the party, Abati has shown that APC is really a democratic institution. If Buhari, Tinubu or Ogbonnaya Onu could not foist/force a candidate on the party, then thats a very good indication that APC is very credible and democratic, as oppossed to the PDP, which always anoint a candidate through Obasanjo and Aneni, then deceive the members with a sham primary election.

When i read the post, i had to move from Obigbo area through Aba road to Lagos bus stop areas, Mile 1, through Ikwerre Road to Rumuokoro, Garrison through Trans Amadi/Slaughter axis to 2nd Artillery. Am now going to Uniport from Rumuodara Junction through East West Road, yet i have seen dozens of destitutes/beggars in their normal positions, doing their thing without any harrassment. I also saw many of the popular madmen/women in their areas. I have called friends living in the areas i didnt visit, but they confirmed that the news is a complete falsehood. If it were true, many newspapers would have carried it.

The American taxpayer can afford to fund Madame Obama's holidays and whatnot. After all, the USA is rich. The USA is an industrial economy. Her currency is the world's reserve currency. Both the US government and privately owned companies have annual R & D budgets running into, again, trillions of Naira.

Despite all the above, the US is still a country in crisis with a trillion dollar budget deficit, widening poverty, rising racial tension & income inequality and no universal healthcare. With all of the USA's wealth and power, some US taxpayers have a problem with their government financing Michelle Obama's holidays, deploying a massive security cordon around her etc. And you say Nigerians should remain mute about their own first lady 'problem'?
