THE PDP GUBERNATORIAL FLAG BEARER FOR OSUN 2018, SENATOR ADELEKE, EXTENDS HAND OF FELLOWSHIP TO ALL CONTESTANTS:

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the winner of the gubernatorial primary of PDP for the forthcoming 22nd September, 2018 governorship election has extended "hand of fellowship to ALL stakeholders" in Osun State, especially those that contested with him in the primary.

He also declares that they "are all winners" in what he describes as "brotherly contest".

This is contained in his appreciation statement released after his victory, which he personally signed.

The full appreciation statement reads:

"MY HEARTFELT APPRECIATION

"My team and I give glory to God Almighty for this historic victory.

"I send a very big congratulations to everyone in the Osun PDP family. We have once again blazed the trail by demonstrating to all undemocratic forces how powerful the will of the PEOPLE can be. We have proved that PDP is a party of true democrats determined to take Osun people from poverty to prosperity.

"I must specially acknowledge the support and contribution of Hon. Albert Adeogun, Akogun Lere Oyewunmi, Professor Aworemi and Mr Olawale Rasheed; Aspirants that energized our campaign with their endorsements and active support.

"I congratulate Alh Fatai Akinbade, Rt. Hon. Bello Adejare, Mr Nathaniel Oke (SAN), Mr Kayode Oduoye, Prof. Durotoye, Mr Ayombo Adewopo, Senator Olasunkanmi Akinlabi and Senator Kolawole Ogunwale for their energetic campaign and mobilisation of our teeming party members.

"I congratulate Dr Akin Ogunbiyi and his hard fighting team for running a good and impressive campaign. It was a brotherly contest in our collective strive to redeem our state, It is therefore no gainsaying that we are all winners.

Mega Coalition: Oshiomhole, Buhari Are Jittery Says PDP
…Says APC Now Dead

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says the factional National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has become jittery over the mega coalition between the PDP and 38 other political interests, leading to his resort to hauling of misdirected insults and abuses on the PDP.

The PDP said Oshiomhole’s resort to insults betrays the confusion of a depressed politician seeking to cover his personal vacuity and inner fears of the inevitable defeat awaiting President Muhammadu Buhari and his dysfunctional APC in 2019.

The PDP holds nothing but pity for Oshiomhole, who is now licking his own vomit by going around cap in hand and begging the same compatriots whom he earlier called names like ‘inconsequential’, ‘hungry birds’ and ‘tired feet’, not to leave his sinking party.

Unfortunately for Oshiomhole and his Presidential sponsor, events of the weeks ahead will clear all doubts that APC is dead and that Oshiomhole is just an undertaker, whose job is to cremate the derelict contraption by oppressors, who are falsely hailing themselves as messiahs.

What Oshiomhole and President Buhari, in their fantasy trip, fail to understand is that those they seek to draw into the cave are already aware of the story of the sick lion and that all animals that went visiting never returned. They know that the tiger do not offer his back for a ride without a price.

Very soon Oshiomhole and President Buhari would find themselves alone in the cursed ‘Black Pearl’ that the APC has irredeemably become.

While we understand Oshiomhole’s frustration over his inability to stop the coalition, the fact remains that he and President Buhari are fighting a lost battle in trying to destroy it.

Nigerians have already reached a consensus to coalesce and vote-out President Buhari come 2019 and replace him with a more competent, pan-Nigerian President. No amount of intimidation, threats, violence or even enticement of any kind can change this iron-cast resolve.

The PDP therefore counsels Oshiomhole not to think that clinging to a sinking ship and its deserted captain can save him from prosecution on allegations of humongous corruption and siphoning of billions of naira while serving as Edo state governor, for which he will surely face trial.

My response is that the election is over. We lost to Federal might. If there are evidence of malpractice, pdp will challenge it. But that must not prevent us from moving on. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. No matter what the APC and Fayemi say, Fayose is a great man and has done wonders for Ekiti State. I am not ashamed of Fayose. I am proud of him. I am proud of the way he protected Ekiti from herdsmen and stood up to Buhari’s federal bullying. I admire Fayose. I wish the election had turned out differently, but neither I nor the PDP should dwell on it. We have work to do for 2019.

PDP have an important task ahead.

It will be so easy for jagaban and co to manipulate elections in a yoruba speaking state to a non yoruba speaking states . In this part of the world , we've attached so much ethnicity to politics and this reason will be the motive of jagaban and co to rather win ekiti and lose imo or even edo ( they do not care ) .
Lets put the jokes and antics apart , do you guys think 2014 election was free and fair ? This just concluded election is a repeat of 2014 . I have not said fayemi is a messiah , but a character of fayose dont last politically in a yoruba terrian ( You cant be insulting pmb and think tinubu will smile at you ).
You guys can go to bed and have a sound sleep , pdp just lost this election , courtesy survival of the fittest , while fayose's spite also hunt him badly . I will be lurking somewhere to laugh fayose's die hards who'll continue to console themselves ( I wont reply them ).
And to my noisy neighbors , apga is your heritage and a political party you should resurrect and not pdp/apc ( the party mostly dominated by the people you called slaves/animals and your enemies).
