Its very disheartening how some people can go to any length to lie and twist whatever they hear from any source.

Not long ago, some group of people claiming that for COAS Alex Badeh said that Nigeria Army lack equipment, when in the real sense he was giving an account of about 30 year of active service in Nigeria Army.

Also this same people twist The former Security Adviser Sambo Dansuki statement that all Equipment contracted out are still to be deleievred.

Well to set the record staright.

Dansuki not only state that because of the exigency of the election (to be peaceful) great number of these equipment are Airlifted into the field of war in the North East while the remaining large quantity are awaiting Shipment.

Our attention has been drawn to an editorial published in the Nigerian Pilot of August 2, 2015 and an earlier report in which the total cost of President Muhammadu Buhari’s recent trip to the U.S. was estimated at N2.2 billion.

Contrary to the newspaper’s assertions, the total cost of the trip to the Nigerian taxpayer was at the most minimal, in line with the policy of this administration to cut waste and extravagance.

Owing to the free accommodation provided by the host government, all the personal staff who accompanied the President on the trip received reduced allowances.
His son, Yusuf, received neither allowances nor estacode. The five Governors on the trip each paid his own way. Permanent Secretaries who traveled on the delegation did so in accordance with extant rules and none of them exceeded their estacode entitlements.

Apart from the Nigerian Pilot’s mischievous mathematics, it is shortsighted and misleading of the newspaper to have claimed that President Buhari’s trip to the U.S. achieved nothing.
Nigerian-US relations had suffered severely over the past few years. That relationship has now been reset. The benefits of this symbiotic relationship will become more and more evident as the Buhari administration continues to tackle the challenges of corruption, security and the economy.
Some of the more immediate benefits of the President’s trip to the U.S include: the proposed $2.1 billion fund from the World Bank for the re-development of the northeast battered by Boko Haram; $5 billion from US investors in Nigeria’s agriculture sector; $1.5 billion investment in the Nigerian health sector; and another $5 billion investment from the U.S. in our country’s power sector.
Also, as things stand at the moment, the embargo on the sale of weapons sales to Nigeria is in the process of being removed.

The trip to the U.S by President Buhari was definitely very successful and beneficial to Nigeria.
Only those rabidly determined to find faults unnecessarily will cook up falsehood in a futile effort to rake up murk where none exists.

But it was widely reported then, that he was seeking for something to continue his existence nd membership of the APC (atleast on Nairaland). Gbawe himself had narrated of how barcanista pressurised him for what is known today as ''Protection Money''. But because Gbawe has iplored him to continue with them out of love and patriotism, letting him know that there is no money to give him, Barcanista moved to the PDP. Gbawe and other NLanders still have the screenshot of that conversation.

Like expected barcanista began to sound like one whose intelligent and sense of intelligent have been operated on and in what appears to be a bad brain surgeon, he made no sense any longer. A man who described Gej as a clueless leader now calls him Nigeria's best President. What protection money has caused.

A BATTERED MAN.
After the elections, of which Goodluck Jonathan was roundly defeated, Barcanista was battered, his ego bruised, his protection money on the line, his shame knows no bound. In a bid to vent his anger, he joined the Biafra crusaders on Nairaland. Then, he owned a blog where he rants and ice some of his lies with icing sugar to appear sweet to his numerous readers who needed someting to cure their insomnia as a result of GEJ's loss. In one of his writeup he was explaining to his under-experienced followers what he termed the ''Lower Niger'' he called for the breakage of Nigeria, he insulted the North, he believed Ondo should not be part of Niger-Delta. He would write, post on NL and invite his fellow wailers as Femi has rightly called them to come and lament as usual. To show how bruised he was, his signature went from ''GEJ my hero'' to Okrika his nation, Nigeria his country, PDP his party''

A SEARCH FOR LOST INTEGRITY.
After selling his integrity for a bottle of coke and gala, barcanista needed a redeem of his integrity. He started writting jargons on every step taken by President Buhari. He would go to google, exhume differents types of dirts and start spreading it on Nairaland politics section. Need i remind him that many of us no longer read his gibberish that he spew. He now uses ''Ramadan Kareem to my muslim brothers'' to end his writeups and recently, God bless us all''. His signature now reads something that shows unity of our different ethnic groups.
All these are just to redeem a lost integrity. He wants to appear to some NLanders as one who has the Nation at heart or who has integrity but don't be deceived barcanista has none. This might also be a ploy to invite the APC to come and give him another protection money so he jumps into their ships too.

WHY ALL THESE?
This Nation has suffered bad leadership over the years and if we must get it right, we should be keeping records of the deeds of our present youths and leaders of tommorow. This is in order to judge and properly make a wise decision tommorrow when these youths present themselves for public offices. This is how it starts tommorrow we ask how did we get here? This is a clear case. Who knows maybe this is how Femi Fani-Kayode Started.
