Jaycenvirtualse:Hmmmm.....yes you can. But CBN, NASRDA, PTDF and FIRS won't collect your CV. My brother, to be honest with you. Submitting CV aint the thing. |
Generaloluseye:CBN is actually recruiting. NIDCOM just got a new office space at Jabi and will be continue her recruitment within the month. NASRDA is still open. NAICOM is compiling names. PTDF just got approval. SON is recruiting. NOSDRA will start early next year. NEPC just finished recruiting a batch but will continue next year. FIRS is non-stop. Just get someone to see the Chairman. PTAD is accepting CVs. PENCOM just got a go-ahead. That's the much I can remember. Have a great week. |
Diogo2019:Good morning!!! I understand your last sentence very well. To be honest, there is little I can do asides giving you information on ongoing recruitments I am aware of and how to reach your reps/senator. Please do no let anyone discourage you or make you worthless. Having come this far, you are a winner already. Just a little push and things will fall in pleasant places for you. Do you reside in Abuja? What State are you from? |
Iyajelili:49,800 after deductions....they use same CONPSS as Ministry |
Iyajelili:It's my pleasure ma. Nothing we no dey see for Nairaland ooo.....that was how someone on this thread said NIPOST entry level salary is 220k. If I didn't know people in NIPOST, na so we for chop the lie. He was confident about it and even said they started paying that amount since 2016. As at last week, my cousin is still praying that NIPOST pays the N15,000 (fifteen thousand) annual rent allowance for 2018 (not even 2019). |
Iyajelili:Iyajelili I'm loyal ma.See ehn....that stuff we have been waiting for will show this month but many will be disappointed. It has now been fully politicised. But it will definitely show. |
Rejoice04:IMO Sen. Ben Uwajumogu - Chairman, Senate Committee on Employment, Labour and Productivity. Parastatals - National Directorate of Employment, National Industrial Court, National Productivity Center. Sen. Rochas Okorocha - Chairman, Senate Committee on Culture and Tourism. Parastatals - National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, National Council for Arts and Culture, National Commissiom for Museums and Monuments, National Gallery of Arts, Nigeria Tourism Development Commission, National Institute for Cultural Orientation etc Sen. Ezenwa Francis - Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on States and Local Government ![]() GOMBE Sen. Amos Bulus - Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta. Parastatal - NDDC Sen. Saidu Alkali - Chairman, Senate Committee on National Identity and National Population. Parastatals - NIMC, National Population Commission. Sen. Danjuma Goje - Chairman, Senate Committee on Marine Transport. Parastatals - Nigerian Ports Authority, NIMASA, NIWA, Nigerian Shippers Council, Maritime Academy of Nigeria etc I think Sen. Goje is also a member of Petroleum Upstream Committee (DPR, PTDF, PTI etc) and Army or so...... Like I said, only someone working close to these Senators can give you a full list of the committees they are members of. For example, if someone in Sen. Okorocha's office tells you he is a Chairman of Culture/Tourism and member of Navy, Tertiary Education, Land Transport, Power and FCT, then we can begin to talk of the parastatals under his purview. Yes, Northern Senators have more tendency to help but there are no exceptions to the rule. Even the Northern lawmakers don dey wise up although they are more approachable still. |
oretiti: you don't know how these people think. She is right.....forget about issuance of recommendation letters. We are talking real job slots here. No Senator or Reps that is not from your state will offer you a job slot except you have a personal relationship with him/her or was recommended/refered to them from someone they respect.Infact, some Senators are mean to random people from their district who approach them. They'll tell you they don't know you or will be pushing you around. I know a particular HoR from Imo State (a first timer for that matter) who does not even issue simple recommendation letters for his own constituents. A particular Senator from O**o was doing that (he would help you irrespective of where you are from) until last week. He started tearing recommendation letters brought to him by his secretary for his signature even if you are from south west. Except you are from his state and particularly his district. He now wants to contest for Governor and wants to focus only on his people. Fact is why will I even give you my slot when you have your own Senator who will get slots too.....People of my senatorial district voted me and not people of your senatorial district. I know a Senator from SW who will ask you to produce your voter's card before he even listens to you. I dare say the percentage of those who will help you without knowing you ab initio is less than 15% of the total lawmakers and being a female is even more advantageous. You know women have their way of warming their way into our hearts ![]() |
mistacoco2:Truthfully, they both get slots all the time but not in equal proportion. There is a reason the Senate is being refered to as the 'upper chamber'. Na senior men dey Senate.....seasoned politicians, ex-governors, ex-ministers etc. Only the Senate has the power to screen and confirm ministers, heads of some agencies and extra-ministerial departments including the CBN governor, EFCC Chairman etc Therefore, you should expect that the Senate will wield more influence than their colleagues at the lower chamber. But trust me, if you have good access to the Speaker, Deputy Speaker or any of the principal officers in the House of Reps or even a committee chairman who knows his onions (many of them na JJC), then you are good to go. |
Rejoice04:It will be difficult to get this......you will need to be more specific. Then it will be easier to list them per committee either at the upper or lower chamber. In the HoR for example, Banking and Currency stands as a separate committee from Insurance and Actuarial Matters. Banking and Currency oversights CBN, NDIC, NSPMC etc while Insurance and Actuarial Matters oversight NAICOM etc However in the Senate.....Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions are merged together as one standing committee and therefore has purview over more MDAs than same committee in the HoR. Moreover, you have to be aware of the committees your senator or rep is a member of. Your senator may not be a chairman of any standing committee but must be a member of at least 5-6 other committees. You may never know what committee(s) he/she is a member of until you access him or his SLA. If he/she is just a member of Marine Transport Committee, he will definitely get slots when agencies like NPA, NIMASA, NIWA, NFFC, NSC etc are recruiting yet he/she isnt heading a committee. |
burantashii:oga calm down....neither did I. We both know those are not even all the parastatals under F,B&NP. I thought we were pointing out 'lucrative' parastatals under Finance and I felt those shouldn't have been left out. Maybe I should have added them without quoting you. |
Hannae:you are a very honest and open person. Your sincerity will open even greater doors for you by God's grace. All the best in your career! |
Iyajelili:Thanks for your humble response IyaJelili (your name reminds me of someone close ).I bow to superior arguments but I have also seen in two agencies (one under communications & another under environment) where arrears were calculated from date of 1st appointment. Mine was also the same way. Maybe we were just lucky but I'll like you to confirm from anyone at head of service or OAGF. |
Iyajelili:Not exactly the date you report but the date you complete your medicals counts as your date of first appointment, therefore whatever arrears take effect from that day. It's quite possible to complete your medicals & documentation but for some reasons, the organisation can tell you to wait for several weeks before reporting. |
Andychinedu: Since we are all here to help each other and share whatever info. At least, other unemployed people can try and shoot their shots at the agency. |
burantashii:you left out NIRSAL, FIRS, SEC, IST, Customs Service & Budget office. |
opsy4u:My post wasn't necessarily targeted at you....but since you decided to jump in the boat, what agency did you do capturing for? Cheers! ![]() |
burantashii:NERFUND is no longer operational. Asides OAGF (for personal reasons), almost every other parastatal under finance, budget & natl planning is good. Perhaps, if he had asked the highest paying.... |
oretiti:Most parastatals under finance pay very well. Now, that Budget and National Planning have been merged with Finance, that makes the list even more robust. |
Anyone who comes here seeking information about IPPIS and when payment should commence but wants to remain discreet about their new organisation do not deserve an answer from anyone here. You cannot be seeking information from others while hoarding information from them. Peace! |
id4sho:Not NITDA. NITDA is actually under Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy. |
Hannae:Congrats! Since you met the DG @ the lawmaker's office, it would mean they have a cordial relationship or the distinguished is a member of the aviation committee, appropriations or public petitions. Sending your name as a sequel to the DG's visit points that it was on request and a ?%? of an agreement from their previous meeting. Same thing happened at FIRS & another major Sci&Tech parastatal this week that just ended. It's very different from when your senator just sends unsolicited RLs which will be subject to the willingness, descretion and/or mercy of the DG. Once again, congrats! |
seunlayi: fatymore:Obviously, you do not know Yinka's story. Which yeye wife stood by him? |
tempest01:Despite the poor quality of the video, you were able to detect that. You are really smart. A lot wouldn't notice anyway but real shots were fired. Once, it was visible close to the electric pole and then the rear passenger window of the robber's car was hit. People don't critically analyse information before accepting. That's why fake news now reign supreme. |
Unknownuser:Very bitter, frustrated and hopeless set of beings. Just look at the gutter language of the person who posted before you yet claims to have seen the four walls of a tertiary institution. May it be to everyone according to their heart desires. Enough said! |

EmptyCoconutHead:hmmmmmm......what a sad story! May God comfort him and give him the strength to pull through. May God provide a wife who will love his son and play the role of a good wife and true mother. This story really scares me. Indeed, we are priviledged. |
onadana:I'm really sorry about your wife. May the Holy Spirit comfort you always. |
Tunjoel:Depends on the agency, time of capturing within the month and other factors.....but ideally between 1-2 months after |
