Oloripelebe..How dare you compare a piggy bank(Igboland) with central bank(Yorubaland). The size of your small enclave (Igboland)is almost the size of OYO state, just a part in Yorubaland and 45 million of Igbos have not been able to develop this small enclave intoeldorado. In spite of your rituals, drugs peddling, baby factory etc and with your late civilization, you still have brown roofs in your small enclave. The singular evidence that Yorubas are richer than the Igbos, are their numerous massive industries, highest number of private universities, private colleges, real estate people,ICTpeople etc.Do not be delusional and compare a small enclave filled with 3000 houses with a large area where 1000000 houses are scattered all over.Do not be like Ojuku..
chai....you will kill person o.. This is too much now

There is something about Yoruba people that most us don't understand. There is a way they reason, whether this is based on tradition or in their DNA, time will tell. A typical yoruba man doesn't give a damn if something is happening to other people; he doesn't care AT ALL. But as soon as that thing start happening to his own, he automatically start caring and talking about it. Conversely, Igbos are very proactive, if something is happening to anybody, they take note, stand against it, BECAUSE NATURALLY they know If we don't do anything, it might also happen to us. Try reasoning with a yoruba man why all the ports in SS and SE are not functional? why only Lagos ports are working? He will try to give you all the excuses in the world. Like a guy I was discussing this with, he went from A to Z, then I said Segun, but Kaduna dry port is working nah. Segun stopped and looked at me like an Idiot! Nah so the argument stopped. Other tribes are taking note of your behavior when the chickens start coming home to roost!
you accused them of stopping the building of ports in your region....so, Yoruba is the one that stopped babangida, abacha, abdusalam, yaradua, even your own jonathan from building ports in your region.. Are you not ashamed of yourself?

CrimeMan Butchered By His Wife And Her Lover In Anambra. by engreo(op): 7:22am On Jan 23, 2018
A Nigerian man identified as Ugochukwu Okeke A.K. A Alino, has been reportedly beaten to death by his wife, Chinenye Adaeze Okeke, and his apprentice, who his wife was allegedly having an affair with.

According to report, the Nigerian man from Ndimgbu in Anambra State, was beaten to death when he questioned his wife from Mbanagu in Anambra State over the affair.

The wife and her lover ran out of luck, as they were apprehended and now being held in a police station in Yauonde. The couple reportedly had 5 children together.

After being butchered by his wife and her two accomplices, they had dumped Ugochukwu Okeke’s body at the trunk of his car and was about driving off before they were apprehended… May his soul rest in peace…

CultureOoni Of Ife Appoints Popular Films Maker, Dotun Taylor As Cultural Ambassador. by engreo(op): 7:47am On Jan 19, 2018
The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has officially proclaimed popular voice-over artiste cum filmmaker, Dotun Taylor, as a Yoruba Cultural Ambassador. Also, a historian and presenter of a radio show about Yoruba Culture, baritone-voiced Taylor has lent his voice to hundreds of movies, reality shows, radio programmes, jingles and documentaries among others. He’s the brain behind many contemporary music videos. Taylor would be joined in the new assignment by Morounranti Ashabi Alebiosu, a cultural enthusiast and former Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State on Tourism and Inter – Governmental Relations. Ooni of Ife At a brief event to commemorate the unveiling of the ambassadors last Tuesday at the Enuwa Palace of the Ooni in Ile-Ife, Osun State, the Ooni said the duo has proven to be selfless individuals who have gone to great length to protect the Yoruba culture, tradition and heritage. He enjoined the honourees to handle the role with utmost care and protect the integrity that comes along with the office. The Ooni also used the occasion to unveil the Yoruba Cultural Festival project, a Roots and Heritage Renaissance Culture Initiative (RHRCI) concept in partnership with P.S-100 Limited, a social initiative agenda to re-awaken the minds of every true Yoruba person at home and in the Diaspora with Brazil, Haiti, Cuba etc participating. CrimeSouthwest On Antinode For Rampaging Herdsmen by engreo(op): 7:31am On Jan 19, 2018
In the light of that, Vanguard made findings across the states in the Southwest geopolitical zone to know what their respective governments are doing to prevent such occurrence.
We won’t prohibit cattle rearing in our state. In a bid to ensure peaceful co-existence of farmers and herdsmen in the state,
The Ondo State government said it would not prohibit cattle rearing but was quick to point out that plans are underway to regulate the activities of herdsmen and their cattle.
Oyo dilly dallying In Oyo State, the state government seems to be dilly dallying over the issue. When Vanguard contacted the Special Adviser to Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Community Relations, Murisiku Siyanbade, he said he was in a meeting after he asked about what he would react to and he then promised he would be through at 4:30pm. When calls were made to his phone number severally, he did not pick the calls.
Lagos govt not in favour of colonies In the Centre of Excellence, there are strong indications that Lagos State Government might not toe the path of the Federal Government as far as creating colonies is concerned. Following fears expressed by Lagos residents over possible herdsmen attack, the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, assured that the state security apparatus would work to ensure such is prevented in the state.
Osun taking preventive measures Like other states across the country, Osun state has had its share of violent crimes, even as government has continued to fashion out ways to keep the crime rate in the state very low. To ensure farmers and herdsmen co-exist without crises, a government committee headed by a former assistant chief of staff to the governor, Mr. Oguntola Toogun, was instituted. The committee, which has members across security agencies, has embarked on preventive measure, rather than wait for clash to occur.
Ogun people reject cattle colonies In Ogun State, the idea of establishing cattle colonies for herdsmen is not on the agenda for the people. Most people, who spoke with our correspondent, rejected the idea, claiming that it is an attempt to rob peter to pay Paul. According to the Coordinator general of Ketu Advancement Forum, Kunle Abiose, which recorded more cases, the idea is not welcome.
