Abuude: I never indicated I hate president buhari as an individual, I honestly think he has good intentions for NIgeria but the functional effectiveness of this govt is nt good enough. Objections by NLC nd MAN are circumstances of our lack of preparation .I don't see any reason why NIgeria should not be adequately prepared. Let nt forget intra African trade only accounts for a low percentage of our GDP. We have spent more money than most African countries on infrastructure yet value addition in our manufacturing industry is hindered by poor infrastructure, low energy output and poor development of human capital. The govt should take responsibility for our lack of preparation. Were is the so called diversification of the economy . Open ur eyes nd stop making excuses. NIgeria is being left behind by other African Nations. like I said earlier don't pass judgement on issues unless you have all the facts. You can insult the man if you want but don't act as if you where part of the team that negotiated the treaty. You talk about lack of preparedness but I tell you, Nigeria is more prepared than 90% of African countries. But we have concerns. Just like the US will Not want Mexico, China, and other countries to dump goods on its soil. |

Abuude: I think it's disappointing to know dat president buhari line of thinking is still very limited. Free trade agreement which NIgeria was essential to its development is specifically created to encourage Africa's self sustainability economically, socially and politically. In my view it would help curb a lot of challenges I. e poverty, limited education, migration issues, cultural and language barriers. With all this in mind president buhari has had sufficient time since it was first suggested 3yrs ago to handle internal challenges, it is clear the oligarch in Nigeria who want to exclusively maintain economic opportunities within Africa and reduce such opportunities to the average Nigerians have influenced President Buhari position on the issue. did you read where it was written that NLC and MAN are oppose to the treaty? I think they oppose it for a reason. Stop this silly act of spewing rubbish on the net without getting all the facts just because you hate the President. |

alBHAGDADI: I was surprised to read in the news today that MURIC claims Boko Haram is not Muslims and their act of kidnapping girls is not Islamic. The annoying thing is that the statement by MURIC will not only deceive some Christians, but it will continue to deceive Muslims about the horror of their religion. Is Boko Haram not Islamic? Let's hear Allah's own voice below.
Quran (4:24) - "And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess."
Captives in the above Quran passage means slaves, whether prisoners of war or the ones kidnapped. Christian girls who get kidnapped by Emirs in the north part of Nigeria and those in the Middle-East can be placed in the above category.
Allah is speaking specifically to Muhammad below approving abduction and forceful marriage.
Quran (33:50) - "O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those (slaves) whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee"
Now, tell me that what Boko Haram is doing that is quite different from what Muhammad their prophet did as approved by Allah? They are simply following his footsteps as an excellent pattern for Muslims to follow, a thing the Quran states.
SAHIH INTERNATIONAL QURAN SURAH Al-Ahzab 33:21
''There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often''. rubbish. Check the old testament, You will see worst things than these claimed to have been authorized by God through Moses, ;oshua and others. |

mekaboy: When I read about the investment of 16 billion sukuk or whatever it is called on SE roads I laughed. Who is the federal government trying to deceive?
Trying to create the impression that they are doing the the SE a favor? Nonsense.
How can u invest a paltry sum of 16billion in the whole or SE, how many kilometers of road can it complete in a year?
When you owe each state in the SE a lot more than 16 billion spent in federal roads.
AMOUNT FG OWES STATES IN SE
Anambra = 43 Billion Enugu = 25 Billion Ebonyi = 21 billion Abia = 5 Billion
So it is better for us that you pay the states what they spent on federal roads than the 16 billion peanut the entire SE has to share.
Rubbish. sorry to say this, you can rant all you want but you don't speak for the south east and never will. |

At the end, it's the reality on ground that will win not imaginary achievements
I don't discuss politics but am just angry because no one seems to be telling you people to your face how a failure you are borrowing for capital projects like roads is not a bad thing, it is borrowing for recurrent expenditure like paying of salary (just like the last administration did) that is bad. OLADD: Whoever typed this rubbish in an attempt to launder the battered image of Buhari and his woeful govt is either ridiculously stupid or satanically mischievous. 1. Buhari cannot be said to have zero tolerance for corruption by reinstating corrupt indviduals like Maina and the NHIS boss to the office. 2. Presently, there is secrete payment of subsidy by the NNPC as exposed by the Senate President and newsmedia penultimate week. 3. More than 50000 ghost workers were discovered by the last administration, so what's new? 4. Inspite of the socalled success in the implementation of TSA, Buhari ordered N50b NNPC money not to be remmitted to the TSA account, is that not contradictory? 5. How has the the claim of ban on rice importation helped in reducing its price to 8k which Buhari met it in 2015? Has the price of cement reduced substantially? 6. I won't bother to waste my time and MB on the remaining nonsense. Buhari is the worst leader to ever rule Nigeria. Stop marketing a bad product. for you to have typed this sh1t here means you are so dumb and must be a stark of rubbish. So you think the importation of rice helps the country. Let me tell you something, by importing rice, you are just eating your future now. We cry of lack of jobs for the youth, yet you expect the government to spend scarces dollars to import rice and pay the salaries of workers of rice producing countries? Because that is what it is. When you import, you are paying the salaries of the workers of the producing countries. You also spewed some rubbish about subsidies. This is different. NNPC is not paying anybody to import but it is doing the importation itself. And according to the NNPC act, it has the powers to deduct cost before remittance. The NASS has no powers on that except they want to amend the NNPC act. Yes the NASS has oversight functions but NNPC and some other parastatal like the CBN does not submit its budget to the NASS. So guy you can go do what you do best, go Fvck your dog. |

Answer the question, just as simple as that.
all your noise does not answer the simple question. Noise ke? See this one oh! It's like you lack the ability to comprehend write ups longer than 2 lines. Now, let me come down to your level. If them swindle ya papa wen don retire of him life savings, wetin you think say go happen to am? Him go fit chop 3 square meals a day? PDP swindled this country blind for 16 years. Now one son of a dog fvcker is asking how we got to this point. If forex is scarce, would the value of the forex not go up? Yes. Would the goods bought by the forex not go up? Yes. Therefore, the price of rice and other imported goods would go up. Now, if I sell beans and the price of rice is beyond my reach, would I not increase the price of my beans so as to be able to afford the rice? Yes. So you see, PDP inability to save for the rainy day caused this brohaha. There was a global melt down in 2008, America was so comatosed the banks were closing left right and center. It did not affect us then because we had a buffer. Our FR. |

For a country to be self sufficient, there must be opportunities for its citizen. These opportunities only come alive, when one can make money from whatever one does. Agreed the price of some commodities are relatively high, this will not last forever because when supply outstrips demand, price will fall, for now, we need stable hands on deck and people with intergrity on the till. Not someone who will give fayose 4billion, ffk 3billion, dieziani 1.5 trillion, mama peace 300 billion, just to name a few and all from CBN yet this OP oshi, alakori is crying "how much is ponmo in 2018" |

I've been asking them this simple question.
Yet they seem clueless about the answer.
1. What is bag of rice 2015 vs 2018
2. What is dollar rate 2015 vs 2018
3. What is PMS price oer litre 2015 vs 2018
4. What is pure water satchet 2015 vsb2018
5. I bag of fetrilizer 2015 vs 2018.
Well i will keep asking them you keep making silly statements about price of rice, pms, yam and what have you. PDP is to blame for the high price of commodities today. Why, how? Simple. PDP refused to save for the rainy day. As at 2015, the FR was $29b. The CBN could not meet the daily forex demands of the country. Now, what happens when there is excess pressure on scarce resources, price will rise (simple economics). These comodities are imported. We needed dollars for imports of which PDP refuse to save. Also, recall that initialy PMB refused to devalue the naira opting to remove some goods which we can produce in the country from accessing dollar from CBN. Again, devaluatoin encourages exportation. It is not about the value of your currency but the stability of it. Japan, italy, china, etc comes to mind. When currencies are devalued, exports become cheap and imports expensive, and vice versa. Also this creates opportunities for enterpreneurs with the multipler effect being job creation. A high valued currency would make imports cheap. People like the OP don't want to work. They want to keep sharing the money. Marco economics policies takes time to achieve their targeted impact. |
