PoliticsRe: Biafra Maybe Landlocked But Will Have Access To The Sea Like Switzerland by Enice(m): 11:28am On Jun 18, 2017
The poverty in post Biafra will be mind boggling. At present the 5 south east states are dependent on aid from Nigeria. They collect allocations of all types monthly. Without these allocations, none of these south east states is viable. They should be scrapped.

mumu, like nigerdelta will stay, keep dreaming
oh!. So your breakup is depended on others following suit. Well think again. Niger Delta is going nowhere.
On your Biafra, the only resources you guys have is red mud sand. Some of you deluded fellows are thinking of importing raw materials through airlift and exporting same way. I ask, to be sold to who excatly? You guys think you can sell your poor quality goods to Nigeria after secession? Think again. Infact, where will you get the dollars from?
PoliticsRe: Biafra Maybe Landlocked But Will Have Access To The Sea Like Switzerland by Enice(m): 8:56am On Jun 18, 2017
You guys are very funny comparing yourselves with Switzerland. The only other country that will be similar to Biafra is Soweto. As Soweto is surrounded by South Africa, so also Biafra will be surrounded by Nigeria. This means that your developmental pace will be determined by Nigeria. Biafra will be one big prison. A refugee camp. You currency will be worthless as toilet paper. Recall Soweto during the apethied period. You will not be allowed to have a military force (army, airforce or Navy). You will only be allowed to have a police and Nigheria will dictate the kind of weppon you carry ( dane guns or okpor) you will need a trade agreement to go through our airspace. So if you think you can fly in and out as you like you are dead wrong. The Anambra oil fields are presently in conflict with the Kogi people. They will be siezed in favour of Kogi state. That of Imo will be ceded to Rivers their rightful owners. So much more to come.

My friend use your brain and discern simple body language, dont you see that KD airport will be the logical justification for them to upgrade, why didnt they upgrade Minna that is closest to Abuja. Ofcourse Katsina airport is not an option for international flights so just gerraway with you myopic lack of indepth reasoning and judgement.
when the senators asked the minister this question the reply was that there is always an alternative airport for every flight plan landing in Abuja. That Kaduna airport has always been the alternate airport for Abuja. Therefore it was logical to choose Kaduna airport.

banki:
as much I don't support this current cbn and its policies....I have never seen emefiele as a good cbn governor I want Deji to understand something

What do we really produce as a nation....that will earn us foreign exchange
why is deji not protesting against his pay masters in APC AND PDP who specialized in stealing our common wealth especially during the last administration?
what has deji done or said about the people who blow up pipelines in the name of fighting for freedom and thereby deprive us of foreign exchange due to low income from oil sales.......

the cbn is just a tiny part of the equation lets protest and solve the issues, each time someone is arrested or prosecuted a bomb blows off then we say oh they are fighting for the emancipation of the niger delta, when they collect money they go and build universities in benin republic buy houses in Germany and buy private jets, some loot money meant for amnesty and yet deji sits with those people everyday
deji knows that the government is fighting a war a full fledged war, but is paymasters went to the cbn and collected 2billion dollars meant for fighting the war but channeled into pdp campaign.... Deji is a member of the pdp campaign team so he definitely shared dasuki dollars now tell me 2billion dollars removed from your vault will definatly shake any economy in the world including that of the usa

I hate hipocrites
Damn it. I love this post. These monkeys are still playing politics two years after election. The revenue accruing to the federation account is shared in a ratio of about 54 to 46. This means that the states are also responsible for a part of the economy yet this subversives and traitors have not deem it fit to criticize their governors to at least boost their local economies. Everything na Buhari fault.

He wasn't.
When Biafra was proclaimed on May 30, 1967 Banjo was released from an Eastern Nigerian prison by President Odumegwu Ojukwu and made Colonel. His imprisonment was without trial, due to his alleged involvement in a 1966 coup. When the Nigerian Army invaded Biafra on July 6, 1967 Ojukwu sent Banjo and Major Albert Okonkwoto invade Nigeria. Banjo was able to capture Benin Cityin less than a day and was able to get within 300 kilometers of the Nigerian capital Lagos. After Banjo was repulsed at the Battle of Ore, he and other officers ( Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Phillip Alale, and Sam Agbam) were accused of allegedly plotting a coup against Ojukwu. [4]After a hurried trial, [5]that some authors characterized as biased, [6]Banjo and other alleged plotters were found guilty of treason and were sentenced to death. On September 22, 1967 Banjo, Emmanuel Ifeajuna, and Philip Alale were marched into the Enugucity center and were tied to a pole. A firing squad of Biafran soldiers fired at them. When Banjo was hit, he reportedly yelled defiantly, "I'm not dead yet!" and he had to be shot multiple times before he died.

laudate:
He was a Biafran soldier. His sister wrote a book about him titled "A Break in the Silence:Lt. Col. Victor Adebukunola Banjo." His sister is Professor Felicia Adetowun Ogunsheye, the first female professor in Nigeria, and the first female professor of Library Science.

Another commentator wrote a few things about Banjo in another online publication, using excerpts from her book.
thanks. This would enlighten some of these yoots that the civil war was not fought only by people of Igbo extraction on the Biafran side,

There has been no third party verification of Victor Banjo's involvement in the Nigerian Coup nor Biafran Coup.
so what do you mean from what you just posted? That Victor Banjo was not a Biafran soldier?
PoliticsRe: look at where they drill oil in Biafra Land by Enice(m): 9:36am On Jan 12, 2017
Mckennedy:
Victor Banjo (April 1, 1930 – September 22, 1967) was a Colonel in the Nigerian Army. He ended up in the Biafran Army during the struggles between Nigeria and Biafra. Victor Banjo was mistaken for a coup plotter against the Nigerian Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa, by the Government of Aguyi Ironsi (according with the book "Why we struck" by Adewale Ademoyega) He was alleged to have staged a coup plot against Biafran President Odumegwu Ojukwu.[1] and was executed as a result. It took a second military tribunal judge to sentence Victor Banjo, because Odumegwu Ojukwu's first military judge stated that there were not enough evidence to convict Victor Banjo of coup charges. There has been no third party verification of Victor Banjo's involvement in the Nigerian Coup nor Biafran Coup. His alleged involvement in both coup plots has been based on unsubstantiated hearsay.
from this biography, Banjo was a Biafran soldier, died a Biafran soldier and was from the SW.

@ the bolded. Can you make logical sense out of what you have written? I think what u meant was that buhari did not initiate the coup but was eventually enlisted to lead it. Does that not make him responsible and culpable?
no.

no need for this long epistle. Buhari has said times without number that he was not part of the coup plotters that he was only invited to lead as the most senior officer and I believe him.

Is he right or wrong?

Did Buhari commit any offence by staging a military coup in 1984?
the fact is Buhari did not stage any coup. He was called to lead by those who plotted the coup and remove by them also. Google is your friend.

Resolutions generally are not binding unless specified by law.

Section 5(1) (4)(a), Section 6 (1)(4), Section 16 (2), Section 84 (3), Section 105 (2) of the constitution provide such exception. State of emergency is approved by way of a resolution and such resolution is binding according to Section 305 (1) of the constitution.

Disobeying legislative resolution is tantamount to declaration of war against the House and bearing in mind 2017 budget passage will be around that period, the Executive won't like to disobey any such resolution.
you think so? Lets wait and see. Maybe when major airlines start boycotting abuja airport, na then we go get sense..

This is Nigeria. why not wait and let see if the airport will not be closed down come March. it's just 2 months away.
They only want to be relevant. why dem Neva close am down since dey can? they refuse to do their job nd d executives want to do it for them now, they are ranting up and down. that's d problem we are having in this nation and somebody is trying to correct the wrong-doings. that shit of a runway was documented to be repaired in 20years after the completion then but over the stupid years of pdp govt d yeye house didn't do it's job. Am even sure dey never even 4 once come across dat document talk less of acting on it. It's after sometin bad happens on d runway that dey will now come for the executives. it just doesn't make sense. #yeye people.
thanks for the lectures. Another reasoning is that the constitution of the FRN empowers the legislators to make laws by acts/amendments and not by resolutions or motions. The FG can ignore this motion or resolution and nothing will happen. It has happened so many times before and it would happen again.
