Hello did you update your DS160 no? Because I forgot to update mine and was on no status until I sent a mail and i was asked for the old and new DS-160 which was updated and I am back to application received.

Good day NothingDoMe and everyone who can help. So I submitted my IW on the 16th with my son then I realised that just today that I did not update my new DS160 no on my CGIF profile. I checked yesterday my son's page says application received but mine no update. So I went to my CGFI page this morning and I saw that I can still update my profile and I have done that hope it won't affect my visa application.

Delivery for my kids- 22 and 23rd Nov
Mine Stucked at DMC
Did several paid mails sent to different mails available, sent to the home office email no reply from them, but I kept getting wait for 15 working days got it like 3x.
I decided to visit TLS today the queue was crazy I had to sort them and begged b4 I was allowed in because the queue was heavy. I dropped my collection slip even thou it was for courier services the staff came calling my name that its not ready. Well I went to meet another staff and she asked if i have BRP mail and said yes and was told to write down my GWF no i was number 3 on the list she told me they will escalate it. While still at the environment, I did another paid call cos today makes another 15 working days and the lady I spoke to gave me a warm reception and was apologising and promised to escalate immediately and asked for my phone number I gave it to her.
Around 7.17pm a mail came in and it was Document ready for collection mail from.TLS💃💃💃
Exactly 2months 2days after BRP mail.

I got this mail now. I sent a mail yesterday and was told to wait till 20th but I complained have been getting same automated message.omor its annoying.

At this stage, i am well convinced that there is nothing like escalation, all the emails we get from ukvi for escalation are automated, because my last escalation time expired yesterday without any brp or collection mail and i did another paid mail today all they told me is they have escalated me again that i should wait for another 15 working days lol…

Mind you my school resumes on monday, and i am still stuck at DMC, whereas my visa decision have been made since on the 13th of December 2022, biometric was on the 1st of December, i have done over 10 paid calls.

At this stage I’m done emailing or calling them. Let God’s will be done.

It's frustrating really my own BRP came on the 18th of Nov. Up till now still at DMC i have sent several mails also did paid calls no result. I have got 2x same automated reply shd wait 15th working days nothing is happening. Am also tired really.

Please did you get a mail from TLS or u went to DHL to check yourself.

if you will take my advice , if you are not far from the Visa application centre . Visit the center don’t be surprise if your passport is ready since . They don’t send collection mail out of error . Take the step

Just like my case biometric 1st of December 2022 i did paid call decision was made 13th of December 2022 till now no brp no collection mail, I escalated on 29th of December till now nothing, i think this whole issue is from ikeja because most people that did at vi and abuja are collecting their passports back with vignette on it.

I really don’t know what the problem is after making decisions it should only take 3 to 4 days to send back to VAC since decisions have been made it’s going to 2 months now nothing school resumes on 23rd.

Seeing everyone post visa even those that did after i did makes me feel some kind of way.

Assuming decision has not been made now, it’s another thing decision has been made since 13th of December.

Same shoes here thou am a dependent since Nov 18th got BRP Mail I have sent several mails same wait for 15th working days since dec 5 my kids got theirs back 3days after BRP Mail but here I am .

Hello with your MTN call this no 012770780 its the BHC lagos no and follow the instructions it will take u to the paid call. I was able to do this yesterday.

My dependants got their BRPs on the 18th Dec, decision made on 13th Dec, Bio done on 8th Dec. It has passed 15 working days post Bio and 10working days post BRP receipt.

Paid mail on 30th Dec, paid call on 4th Jan.
Till now no passport, no mail, still at DMC.

What do we do Any advice?

Hi dduchess please is there another mail I can escalate my own matter I have done paid mail twice. I got BRP mail on the 18th Nov for my self and 3kids the kids passport was returned by 21st but mine is yet to leave DMC. I sent a mail on the 5th of Dec saying it’s been escalated and they will have my passport returned to me asap but should wait for 15 working days before contacting them again. I did after 15 working days yet same answer I am also told to wait another 15 working days. Anything else you can advise

i just booked my interview waiver appointment but the appointment details still read as
Address : walter carrington crescent,
Date: 6th march 2023, 9am, although underneath in the instructions section, applicants can only drop off at dhl ikeja or isolo.
So my question is with the interview waiver in place(had several us b1/b2 granted with sevral visits, never been rejcted any visa before),
DO I GO TO VICTORIA ISLAND OR WHICH OF THE DROPOFF LOCAIONS(iSOLO or IKEJA) AT THE DATE AND TIME GIVEN ABOVE.
THANKS EVERYONE I APPRECIATE ALL INPUT not used to this as I merely pay the DHL office in Ife to drop off at Isolo DHL in previous times

You either drop it off at Ikeja or Isolo those are the places for drop off. I remember in Nov when I dropped off for my mum a lady was on the queue with me she said she went to VI and was directed to ikeja and u can choose where to pick up I think oyo state is added which is in ibadan but you will make payment of about #6,400.

Everyone, please be very vigilant especially if you have gotten a decision but it's taking longer than usual to get your passport back. I know they will tell you to wait 10 working days after getting decision before you will get your passport but THAT IS NOT NORMAL! We all know it doesn't take that long to get your passport back. People that get a decision on the 13th working day usually get collection mail on the 15th working day.

Today made it 10 working days after decision/brp letter and I hadn't gotten my passport. I called British High Commission Abuja customer care and the staff that took my details called my mobile line later that night and was demanding 50k before he could track my passport for me. I did my bio since the first week of August so, the past 8 weeks have been from one battle to another. Luckily, my friend told me yesterday that she had a family friend in BHC so I quickly gave her my details. The feedback I got was that my passport had basically been abandoned! UKVI didn't even bother to inform BHC to print my visa. It was my friend's family friend that sent an email to UKVI and they finally approved it that same yesterday. My visa was printed and was dispatched by DHL today!!! Due to their negligence, I have already missed a lot in school and I will still miss classes of next week and a bit of upper week because one-way flight tickets for this coming week are showing 2M and above.

All I'm saying is that be vigilant! It's not normal for our passports to just be sitting in BHC office collecting dust. Infact, if it's taking longer than 3 days after decision, start sending emails and blasting them with calls. BHC o, UKVI o, all of them are incompetent!!!

Please kindly help I got a BRP mail since 18th Nov with my 3 kids but they got their passport back 3days after up till now I am yet to receive my passport still at DMC I have sent paid mails and said I should wait for 15 working days which has passed I sent another paid mail today same wait for 15 working days. I have missed a US IW appointment because of this. I am a dependent. Frustrating honestly

Yes go ahead and book you appointment. Except only if you have submitted the DS160.

I am trying to assist my mum with the visa renewal via dropbox and I'm lost.
Her previous visa expired September 2019. In February of 2022, she submitted a new application and interview date is October 2023.
Where the confusion lies;
1. Does she need to pay another visa fee (payment for current application was done November 2021)
2. Does she need to cancel the previous application (DS-160 and all)

I have read the pages back but could not find answers to my question, I would be grateful if someone could answer or point me to the right page to read up.

Hello no she does not need to fill another form since it's submitted already and doesn't need to pay.
So what you need to do is to cancel the October appointment and go ahead and book for the IW.

Yes but each individual with their profile so I think the two of you should be on the system together so you can get same date. I was able to get same date for one of my children but u have to do it simultaneously.

As far as I know you have to submit physically except you are submitting on behalf of minors.
Once booked u can't change.
So let me give you a scenario my friend passport is still with British Embassy even though she got a successful letter on the 18th of November but yet to receive her passport as at now,so she sent a mail out to the US embassy and was told that she have to wait for the date of her appointment to pass and that will be a case of no show and her receipt will be release automatically after 48 hours which then she can book the appointment again.

You will log into your account then continue am not sure u can get a nearer date I just did for someone tonite the earliest is May 3. I guess there are loads of demands and note if u book the appointment you can not change the dates again.

No, you will have to go on the appointment date with ur passport and expired visa. If you and your family have the same date one adult can go and submit on the said date.
But most especially you will go to the DHL office to drop your passport on your appointment date.

The information you filled whilst booking the appointment it’s for IW so it’s for you to go drop at specified location.
