my question here is so I'm meant to go to the dal office in Ikeja to submit my document and not the American embassy on Walter carrington VI?

hello everyone please has anyone been able to physically submit their application at the embassy for an interview waiver?

1.) The first question I have is do we have to physically go to the embassy at vi to drop our passport and other documents and not at dhl office? I ask because I think people are confusing drop box with interview waiver

2.) Please if anyone has successfully submitted please can you share your experience, and help clarify if we are to drop documents at dal or at embassy as no one has addressed this or brought it up?

3.) has anyone who submitted gotten a response what's the timeline for a response, thanks?

Hi, I got the mail this afternoon and saw a date in April but the appointment confirmation looks more like an interview appointment. The appointment detail has the address of the consulate which is quite different from IW confirmation that I know.

Hello.
For those that have submitted via Dropbox. How long did it take to get ur passport back?
On the appointment page, it says processing takes 2 months and you can’t request for your passport back during that period.

Did you pick Lagos? It only appears for Lagos and not for Abuja

Hmm, when i submitted on the 21.12.2021, i was thinking i would have to wait that long, but picked up my passport today with a 5 years visa. It was standard as i intend traveling in March for MRCP exams..

I wish all waiting, that the wait won't be in vain.

Hello people, please I need your advice. This week I was invited to an event that holds in the UK at the end of this month. It would be my first time visiting the UK, but I have attended a few conferences in the US (pre-pandemic) and I also went on vacation in the Maldives last year. I know visitor visas can be fast-tracked but when I checked TLSContact it seems the super priority visa service is temporarily not available. Now I'm not sure what to do. If I start a normal application now, is there any chance I can get the visa and my passport back before the 28th which is the latest I can fly out for the event? Should I wait a little and hope that the priority services will come back sometime in the next few days or should I just tell the organisers that I won't be able to make it? Thanks

You should have added a letter and uploaded it using the assisted service. She should have advised you. You have two options.
One is to cancel the application if you think it’s going to have a negative effect( long and costly but better)
Or you send paid mail to them explaining your mistake( This way, you can’t be so sure your mail is getting to the ECO handing your file) it’s 50 50.

My husband sent his POF since 24th of November yet to receive cas and yet to do Pre-Cas interview

I’m also waiting for CAS from Coventry university, I sent my POF to applications.io. Their rep in Nigeria said it takes nothing less than 10 days from submission date.

Thanks so much Maky, can you imagine, I also submitted today, so that's how we probably passed ourselves without knowing.

I submitted all 3 passports, and yes no payment( for online application)

Let me share the requirements so that others people won't worry and search the whole internet like I did....

Docs required for passport submission

*Passport request letter
*Consent form
*application print out reciept issued after biometrics collection, attached with photocopy of passport biopage
Passport document

A yellow print out reciept will be issued to be used for collection.

Good day house I have been trying to track my passport sent on the 2nd oct through the tracking thingy on VFS but kept on saying no record found. Is there any other way I can do it? Pls kindly help thank you.
