Hello house is there another way to check the status of visa application.
I have been trying seems they have the updated one and doesn’t seems to be working.

Good evening please can someone help have been trying to book for an appointment for my kids but no date available what can I do? Frequent travellers

Your question is very confusing

You said you are a Dependant with 3 children,2 in Nigeria and 1 in UK and you applied same time with your children.Now you say your husband wants you to apply with only 1 child. Very confusing

Anyway, child dependants can apply later to join their parents, as long as the application is done before the expiration of the current visa if his study visa is approved

Hopefully that answers your question per whatever arrangements you have

Maybe I did not explain well. So my self and 3 kids got our dependent visa already we are back in 9ja. But out of 3 kids one is in the UK and my self and the 2 others back in 9ja. I applied with the 3 kids but for graduate visa i don't want to apply for the other 2kids in 9ja just my self, husband and 1 child. So my question is hope not applying with the other two won't cause issues?

Now hubby wants to do post graduate but he's saying the other 2 that lives in 9ja won't apply but myself him and 1 child will apply.
Please not myself and the 3 children applied together. I hope this arrangement won't affect the application.

I was not asked for any mail just told them I want to pick my passport up.

When it says its ready for pick up, does it mean its still at the embassy or at DHL?
Am asking because its been saying ready for pickup when I track it on the embassy site but when I input his details in the DHL site, its saying his details are not correct.

Submitted my passport for IW on March 23rd and status has finally changed to APPROVED today, Tuesday, May 2nd. Does anyone have any idea how long it will take for me to get my passport? I have a visa appointment on Friday, May 5th and wondering if I will have to reschedule it. Any ideas?

Mine changed to issued on Monday 17th
Changed to Passport delivery on 18th
Pick up mail- 19th

Passport received at France embassy 25thth April (guess cos of the salah break)
Passport picked up by UPS 28th April
I got my passport this morning
30 days multiple Visa even though I requested for 180 days.

SOP- I just said I will be in France for 2days in May and will be traveling to the UK and state the reason I requested for 180days
Expired Visas- UK,US, France,Canada
Current Visas- UK,US,Canada
I added my car documents 😆😆
I like to put as much docs as I can make them pick wetin them like.

NB- I had issues with my form cos I filled a long stay form but one staff at the VFS checking my docs was kind enough to say I picked the wrong form. I was told I might not be able to submit I pleaded cos I travelled to lagos and going back not submitting will be disastrous. So mercy found me sha I had to do it all over again.

Please is it mandatory that we drop off our passport at the DHL office ourselves or can someone drop it off on my behalf?

Wife can drop for hubby and children
Hubby can drop for wife and children
Parent can drop for children.
And also some age group i think from 70yrs they can accept if someone is dropping for the age categories.

Sir/ma, I have to be honest with you. When it comes to visa, just forget about documents. Pray to your God everything works fine. Have you not been reading posts of applicants with several visas still get rejected? need less to talk of UK or US, abeg, na God dey do ham. Lets leave it like that.

I was chatting recently with an immigration expert. They also express same views as regards visa outcomes. 30% documents, 70% luck

Most times we applicant takes all this for granted just because we have the other strong countries visa we don’t seems to understand that all applications are unique we must all put all necessary and unnecessary docs. But this is my own opinion thou. I just submitted my France application this is my second time of applying, I have both expired and unexpired visa for Canada, UK, US I still feel something is missing on my application.

what i blv went wrong is you sponsoring your family ... the company should take responsibilities of a complete family package for the trip
.. so you sponsoring your family for the trip with your pocket money is a red flag that your family might not return back as a japa syndrome

everyone should think ahead and be smart if going for interview ...
the mindset of every VO interviewing a Nigerian in Nigeria is set to be japa due to the country current situation..
they saw what is going on with UK ..

I think if they have easy way out as UK many pple will also flood their country. So UK opened a lot of opportunities for migration unlike US. But in my knowledge regarding US non-immigrant Visa it's absolutely at the VO discretion and they are psychologist.

Maybe they needed to interview you due the fact that u had ur baby during your last visit if am right. A friend was called for interview cos the last time she visited was for birthing her baby.

In my best knowledge you will have to miss the appointment and rebook. At 24-48hrs of missing your appointment u will able to book again and choose ur location.

Did your CGI profile indicate

"Document delivery information " before your status changed ?

Nothing changes on the CGI you need to track your application on CEAC Visa Application.
So when the status change to issued, then expect update on the CGI portal -passport ready for collection.

Good day guys, I was denied US visa twice in 2017 when a friend help in booking the appointment then and I don’t have the username and password he used in booking it.
I want to book a new appointment now, do I need to register as a new User or I have to look for a way to recover the old Username and password?

Please guys I will really appreciate a response to this

If the friend used your email then try to reset password but if not you will register new and of course might linked it to an old profile and will ask you to upload your Data page for identification.

using the tracker site, its still on application received.

When i checked the usatravel site this morning. I notice that the section that says my passport is currently with the embassy is no more there...

Yes I also have 2 application with them and it's same.
My aunty submitted on the 10th and last week the column where it says passport still with embassy changed to just document delivery information and by Wednesday which is 2days ago it changes to passport collected from embassy and by yesterday changes back to passport ready for collection and she has collected it.

Went for my visa interview on the 16th of February,
I gave birth in the US in 2019.
Went with my zero balance and all my receipts but they didn't ask for it.
Thry just asked if I was going to get any medical assistance from the government for me or my son and I answered no that we both are very healthy.
Then she said she was asking because there are new rules ro birth tourism. I told her I was done with child birth and am presently not pregnant
Visa was approved .
