Infinix mobility is set to launch an all-screen smartphone with five rear camera lenses. According to a statement made available to THISDAY by Infinix Mobility, it was noted that Infinix Mobility is raising the bar in rear camera lense with an all screen device with rear camera lenses. The statement also noted that a tech industry tipster shared a picture which presumably depicts the outline of the rumoured next Infinix smartphone, but noted that it doesn’t show whether the news of an all-screen smartphone with five rear camera lenses is legit or just another hoax. The company in the statement said: “One thing is certain in the wake of this speculation, an Infinix smartphone is coming soon and should it come with any of the stated features, it would be a step in the right direction for Infinix looking to get one up over its competitors. “We also gather that the device would be in the mid-range category and come with a long-lasting battery and glass body design. With Infinix Mobility seemingly willing to experiment with new features in a smartphone market that is in dire need of some new ideas, 2019 might be the year for a technology like this to actually be released.” Source: https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2019/04/09/infinix-to-launch-an-all-screen-smartphone-with-five-rear-camera-lenses/?amp

sirvvy:The device is coming with an Android 9 Pie with much improved features. Definitely something new. |
If TECNO eventually pull this off, we need to give them some accolades. |
I thought a blogger said that Infinix has put a stop to the Zero series.

Gabson001:I'm sure the device is coming in different variants. |
Behankey:The specifications are not officially yet. There might be other variants. |
judajix:The Spark has always been a budget device not a mid range. |

As we age to the point where innovation is the difference in the smartphone industry, the third generation of the Tecno Spark is around the corner – waiting to be unveiled. Not much is known about the upcoming device, from at least the renders we have come across, but the Spark 3 is expected to pick up from where the Spark 2 left. The Tecno Spark 2 was a mind-blowing mid-range device with “awesome features that are worthy of attention”. Coming with a 6″ bezel-less HD+ full display, running on Android 8.1 Go Edition with HiOS v3.3, and having a bright 13 MP rear camera is something not to be left out. But the prospects of having a much more beautiful Spark are very high and all the hope has been placed in the next spark. Rumored Specifications We expect it to ship in two variants; the standard and Pro models. Away from the 6 inch display on the Spark 2, the Spark 3 could extend further to 6.2 inches, with the Pro version likely to feature a notch display as visible on the Infinix Hot 7. We could also see a new 19:9 aspect ratio on the devices at launch. In regards to the Operating System, the Spark 3 could run the Go Edition of Android Oreo 8.1, with the Pro version likely to extend on to Android Pie. The standard version could have a 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, with the pro higher with 2 GB and 32 GB storage on it. For the camera, the company is teasing an AI bright camera on the series. You could see a dual-camera setup (of 13 MP & 2 MP) on the Spark 3 pro, an advancement from last year’s model, with the standard Spark 3 likely to maintain the single camera setup on the rear with a likely 8 MP selfie sensor for both. The other upgrade that could be available on the pro is 4G connectivity, which went missing on the Spark 2 – while having a 3500mAh battery, and fingerprint scanner at the back for both these devices. http://www.uniabujafacts.com.ng/its-timetolightup-with-the-tecno-spark-3/

Infinix has been doing a tremendous job in equipping people with low-cost devices. The manufacturer’s low-end series of devices aka the Hot line got a refresh for 2019, having released the Hot 7 a couple of days ago. The device is already in shop shelves and online e-commerce sites for purchase at 38,000 and 45,000 for the Hot 7 and Hot 7 Pro respectively depending on the location, the latter of which we picked a couple of hours ago for a review. Before I can sum up my first impressions, let’s examine what’s in the box. In the box The box has the device, a charger and USB cable, a set of earphones, a screen protector as well as warranty and user guide information booklets. Hardware Overview Well, this is the first Hot device with a dual camera and a notch. It is also the device Hot smartphone with 32 GB of internal storage. Regarding the notch, we are kind of glad Infinix is aligning design choices to the all-screen trend that has become the norm in 2019, where manufacturers are on a race to shrink bezels by all means necessary. The screen is still limited to HD+ which is not bad. RAM has also remained the same at 2GB (the non-Pro model has 1 GB), but the SoC has been replaced. However, it is still a quadcore 1.3 GHz chip that is by all means budget. The plastic back can be popped off to reveal a non-removable 4000 mAh cell, two nano-SIM slots, and a microSD card opening. Charging is handled via a micro USB port, and the device’s speaker is at the back. Both the 8 MP front snapper and dual 13 MP and 8 MP (wide-angle) cameras are equipped with LED flashes. Software Overview It is a little sad there is no Android 9 Pie here, Android 8.1 Oreo paints the show under Infinix’s skin namely XOS Honeybee v4.1.0.
