@CrustandSea What kind of cocoyam? |
A good boost to my morning. I never get enough, thanks OP |
Some of you just look at the messenger and headline and then craft a response which would depend on how much 'tea' you think you have on the messenger? That she can afford it does not mean she cannot ask questions. However, she is speaking majorly on behalf of those who have to come to Lekki to earn a living or who live in Lekki to be close to their source of earning; reading and understanding what you have read is the first step towards liberation. Make Una dey try read biko |
Start with an original slogan Yul, why MAGA? ![]() |
Sarcasm indeed! ![]() Everyone replied well except the Van Hohe...that resorted to the typical lazy |
Nowhere did she state that 'all men are scum', she isn't castigating all men neither is she judging all women that date married men. Let's try and read comprehensively abeg. |
Enugupikin:So allowing people die from ingesting substandard products is to you more honorable than married women stepping out with 'men' not women oh? |
Enugupikin:Yes oh, if you have been to any part of Igboland, you will find that their men have no regard for their women, that the women would do anything for money and that the average Igbo man would rather cheat than run a legal business. Should we continue playing this game of fallacy? ![]() |
You are yet to see the video and yet you posted ![]() |
sleuthhound:And the NDA guys will not go for their normal break because EFCC isn't organized? If BSc is leaving Dec, who will care for them in camp? |
If he is so happy, he won't even remember 'bitterleaf' |
EMIOMOADEOYE:It is then tossed to single guys? Like what the heck? Your post is spot on! |
Edipee:Ooh ooh Ette ufok. |
Imagine, such an error from NTA. Shame! But OP, Cross Riverians do not speak just Efik, there are various languages in that state. The town's (calabar) lingua franca is Efik but it is also erroneous to think Efik is used for the whole of cross river. #ntoakwaibom #ayenannang |
Critics do a thankless job and are hated by almost all especially as most Nigerians do not like their creativity critiqued. There is however a difference between criticizing objectively and going all out to insult another. Osagie started with insults and even though M.I followed suit for a period, he realized himself on time. Good one M.I |
Lmao! And you all forget that our mothers and their mothers had help in their homes. The modern day woman has it tougher. FYI, my mum worked all through my childhood still working as a RN/midwife and no my dad didn't sleep with the maids or seek pleasure outside. There are men, albeit few, that know the purpose for which they were created and especially so when it comes to running a house with their spouses. I don't understand this generation's line of thought regarding men turning to their maids? Come on! That a few men have deplorable characters shouldn't be something that you all should proudly wear as a toga. Every adult should by now know that there is no handbook or guideline for these things. In the end, you all will adjust to whatever life, your choices and the consequences of your decisions throws at you. |
ChristyB:Well in this case, the man is the woman. ![]() |
EternalTruth:De ayen annang |
evy1:Enough my brother! Sometimes I feel like shaking someone and saying, can't you see what is here? ![]() |
Pavore9:It is what I keep ranting about anytime I visit that state. Gosh! |
Rorachy:I didn't want a thick soup. Only one teaspoon of achi was used. And there is no law determining how thick a soup should be, only the cooker can determine that ![]() |
Achi soup

Used a UBA ATM in May this year, got debited 10k without the machine dispensing and from then till now I have been going to my bank GT every month, yet the money hasn't been reversed. I have asked for camera footage, yet UBA is stalling. |
Some peeps see a church name, do not bother to read the article because to them all articles regarding churches should be bashed. Good one Mrs. Adeboye |
In fact, she failed half of her courses and had to retake examinations several times. In Nigeria, this decision by the faculty would have been tailed by sentimental remarks from students and even certain lecturers such as; 'Ahn ahn, can't you see she is old?' 'Abeg, give her a D after all she isn't going to use the certificate' 'You failed her? She is a woman like you oh, women are their worst enemies' 'You are acting like you will never grow old' 'Very wicked lecturer, even failed that old woman in her class and she was even crying' And the old woman if she was a Nigerian would have expected preferential treatment from lecturers and students alike. I envy her, I want to still be able to read and grasp knowledge even when I am old. This isn't about using the certificate for anything as most of you ignorantly harped on, this is a woman achieving her personal goals. What are your personal goals and how do you intend to achieve them? |
I shake my head at the comments on this thread. |
BornnAgainChild:Not necessarily |
The people have more of the blame, is it the government that comes to dump refuse on the street? Eesh! |
*Nearly strangles pulseng* After this interesting piece, no accompanying shot to show the green and brown river running side by side? ![]() |
No, guys should lift the seat before peeing ![]() I lift the seat immediately after use though, I know it's not conventional but I don't want none of my brothers pee touching the seat. In fact, I always know when a guest came over in my absence because the guest will always leave the toilet seat down (the conventional way) and then I jejely lift it back up after a thorough wipe. |
Aspireahead:Thank you! I had to read on to see if no one actually read the article. NIN number and the actual card are two different things, while we have been waiting for the card forever, the number is what is really needed by the NIS. All systems need to be harmonized with the NIMC - NIS, bank, FRSC, civil and public servants. |
Awoo88:That's the part that got me angry so bad that I was angry at Mario Puzo for a while. At that time I wished the same thing but as a writer I have come to respect that a writer can do as he so pleases with his or her characters and that only one with a mind of steel can cause an upset with his or her story causing the reader to cry, steam or boil. Another upsetting piece was this play 'Lion and the Jewel' by Wole Soyinka. |
