As Mr Tourism, did he not visit any tourist site worthy of note, that could have been used instead of a studio shot? Iranu! ![]() |

*sighs* So, is that the engineer odera or the 'female' naijacoded? What bus were you looking for a tire in? I cannot figure out what you meant there. Next time, try to help your friend, instead of whipping out a phone. Ndo! |
I love the gown |

I know and was speaking specifically for myself. My skin is dry and sensitive and hot water isn't good for me, besides there is always hot tea Caspian22: |
Bathing with hot water? No, thanks! |
I have witnessed that of a hen and her chick. The hen was squawking (wailing) and chased anyone who came close. It was heart wrenching because she wailed (I don't want to use squawking) for a long time till it was nightfall. ![]() |
I watched/listened to several covers, I always knew omawunmi had it in her; so not too surprised. Her cover might not be the best, but for now it's amongst the top 3. Omawunmi, doing Nigeria proud; wonder why chidinma hasn't tried |
dearpreye:It is great how you helped out, and how you've provided tips to your family on what to do if there ever was a fire. However, I think your knowledge on that and the PHED bill should be shared on social media and around your neighbourhood. I have always said if I ever had a fire outbreak, I will throw out my gas cylinder first but that might be wrong or way down in the list of what to do. Who knows what I'll truly do, in a state of panic. I don't pray for any fire though. |
In the last picture set, her face is more defined, almost like that of a model, plus she looks like the toned version of Ini Edo |
His name isn't Chloe but Ludo. It is Chloe that was saved, the heading self! And for those that didn't read, and think he is a Nigerian...he is originally from Congo. What was touching too though, was those that helped in their little ways, talking to those who were dying Somewhere, a filmmaker already has the material for the next movie. |
They all look so cute...Isabella is the chubbier version of Annie |
mbulela:What is well-trained to you might not measure up to that of others. But what can be done about access, since government isn't yet waking up to its responsibilities? |
No, my reference to an upgrade wasn't in respect of slangs. I meant in education. The slang addition, was because I didn't even know such existed. How many slangs can one put in his/her memory as a busy parent or guardian? Yes, our parents were sexually reserved, perhaps it accounts to why most are uncomfortable around se.xual subjects and topics with their children. Even children, well trained have been known to go wrong. Well-trained, is a subjective term. Onegai: |
Of course, without this research, one with discernment can see how most youths (middle to aged too) have their minds fixated on sex. Now, with this research it is a confirmation that is shocking but more worrisome is the fact that we have few mental health professionals and therapists to handle a growing cancer. An average of 1:760,000 is disheartening. And to think that, due to large undocumented facts lying about; this research has barely scratched the surface. Parents need a fast upgrade. I think I need an upgrade as well, didn't even know about the slangs. I am responsible for every young person, I have a close encounter with. |
azzima:Please learn to be objective and not emotional. The petition didn't start on the 22nd but on the 8th. He didn't say Akpabio bragged to him but to his fans. According to him, Akpabio personally told him on the 22nd, after a first petition on the 8th, that Lamorde has interests/contracts in Akwa Ibom. That one questions, doesn't mean one defends. I follow no man blindly |
During the course of this interrogation, DSP Chuks Ibe dictated how I should write my statement and personally informed me of his interactions with Senator Godswill Akpabio. sequel to my petitions against the former Governor Akpabio’s administration dated 8th, 22nd June and August 3rd respectively, the Senate Minority leader was invited by the EFCC and after his departure from the Commission he bragged to his supporters that Lamorde was under his control and nothing reasonable would come out of his investigation. You petitioned Senator Akpabio on the 22nd, and still he personally told you that Lamore had contracts in Akwa Ibom? I accused Ibrahim Lamorde of having interests in contracts awarded by Akwa Ibom State government. This fact Senator Akpabio mentioned to me on June 22nd, 2015.The three above quoted are weighty accusations and they must be PROVEN, because it's your word against them. |

Yes, the maid has a bad attitude but in my opinion, there is nothing you can do about it. I washed my clothes yesterday and they didn't dry properly but I couldn't leave them out this morning, so I hung them round the house. If my brother had been at home, he would have known to pack them when rain fell this evening. Sometimes, the landlord's niece packs all the clothes when it rains and sometimes she doesn't. I didn't want to take the risk. Same situation at my former place, my neighbour packed sometimes and I did same for him. So, my question is: If you were living in a house, where no one would pack for you, what would you do as regards washing? Apply your answer to the family house. I am going to assume, the maid is an adult; when this incident happened; did you approach her? Remember, she isn't your maid. Something like 'Laide, se a nja ni, you didn't help me pack my clothes, ko da oh' Finish! She might not reply, but she'd be a bit ashamed and might help you next time or not. You could even call home, (get her number if she has one) when it's about to rain and plead that she helps you pack your clothes. Remember, some women give new women neighbours, the cold shoulder till they start warming up later. My younger sister always did even though, I would pack all the clothes; she still called to plead. As for greetings, sister forget it! Not everyone would greet you. I already reply enough greetings that sometimes, I'd like to be left alone to my thoughts. If I ever stayed in a family house with a maid like that; I'd probably 'how far' her till she got tired. If you are yoruba, then salutations no dey finish for una mouth na. 'Laide, ku se' whilst passing her on the stairs. 'Laide, how far?' 'Laide, how is daddy?' 'Laide, o ma fine leni' Laide...laide...laide' Fill in the blank spaces. Take it easy, life o di kwa too short |

My choir coord lost his sister in-law too same way. She got pregnant immediately after marriage. Gave birth through CS and that's where it all went wrong. The luck the baby has had is that my choir coord's wife was still nursing her toddler when this incident happened. The baby stays with them for now with his father coming to check on him every now and then. I spent a weekend with them recently when my choir coord had to travel suddenly and can relate with the man's stress and even helplessness. |
And why hasn't chinyere been arrested too? Five people committed a wrongful act and since one is still being traced, why is the other free? After all, the baby wasn't sold against the mother's will. |
Keneking:It's 'concoction'...Concussion refers to the confusion that follows when there is a blow to the head. Sijo01:She fed her son from her shop's stock. Remember, she hadn't sold in 3 days |
I love the unbridled way he looked at her in some of the shots HML |

I am so sorry to say that Nigerians are still backwards when it comes to eating healthy If you are really 40, how can you make such a crass statement? How many Nigerians have you met? I know one or two veggies restaurant in Lagos. I have seen a thread for veggies on Nairaland, who knows if it got wiped out in the tsunami. Yes, there might be a lower percentage of vegans but there is a higher percentage of people trying to eat Nigerian food healthily. After all, the whites still take their steaks, hotdogs and burgers |
1. Tell who? ![]() 2. Why on earth will you peeping inside an adult's room? |
