Amastermovic:Lol, I don't think your prayer should be in eating these kinds of food. I'd be depressed if I had to eat this kind of food even as a single person |
Dried achi 20 Adusa/ozuza 20 Stockfish 100 Periwinkle 50 Wash your stockfish with salted water and boil Wash your periwinkle with salt and add to the boiling stockfish Mix achi with a little oil and hot water from boiling pot. Mash well and pour into pot. Add crayfish and fresh or dried pepper Add more oil if needed. Add seasoning and salt. Allow to boil for a while. Add adusa, turn and put off heat You can also use 200 for light okro soup, light egusi soup (without tomatoes), waterleaf soup, light bitterleaf soup and so on BUT you'd have to have some certain ingredients at home else it will be impossible to achieve especially if you have to buy salt, seasoning, oil, kerosene(if you are using a stove), garri etc What makes a soup expensive and beautiful is the add-ons. |
heatflux:Yes and I am the child whose face needs to be blurred as well ![]() |
There is nothing that irks me more than when people read and ignore chats/text messages/mails. It is a horrible attitude. On the other hand, how is the notification thingy done? I'd really like to know |
Please remove the wife's picture and if you have to post the man's picture, blur the face of the child. A man chats you up and accuses you and you are replying with 'pls I don't know you' 'Pls let me call you' 'pls what is her name?' What happened to a simple one time reply? 'You are talking to the wrong person. I do not know you or your wife.' And then block and click the delete button? What did you call him to say gan? ![]() |
Xplicit1:She didn't ask 'why did you add water to the soup?' If she did, kindly point it out in the post |
Good story though incomplete. The 'HOW' isn't there. Anyways, there's no way someone would add water to my soup or stew without my knowing except my taste buds are dead. |
sleekymag:Guessed as much. Thanks for the code |
Madam rant, so what if toke cannot conceive, is that enough to compound her pain by reminding her? So, if she cries secretly and long for her own children, she should cease to function publicly and go around with a low self esteem just to make people like you happy? ![]() |
mankindE1:For how much? |

Well, the truth is I tried the notebook thing a few years back and it didn't last long but with this phone, no matter how tired I am it's just to input the figures in the rows under the heading which it falls. As per your question of knowing what amount to budget due to our erratic economy. I will give you an example of how I budget my transport to church. I attend church 3 times a week at least and at most 6 times. Twice for choir rehearsals and once for sunday service It can turn into four times, if it falls into my cleaning week It can turn into five times, if I choose to attend Wednesday's evening service And can turn into six times, if there's a communion service that week. All other church engagements like the children choir rehearsals, general cleaning Saturdays and extra choir practice days for perhaps a convention aren't factored in because they don't occur often. I am to N250 spend to and fro church every time I attend but most times I spend N180. N250 is spent whenever I leave the house late in the evenings for rehearsals some times, I am late for sunday morning, evening communion service or when it is raining. N180 is spent when I leave early because I could leisurely take a stroll to the tarred road, saving N70 which is most of the time. But I do not budget N250 for my transport, I budget N300. Why, since I rarely pay use up my N250 exact fare? Because I could meet someone that I know and pay for their fare. And since I need to board two vehicles to get back from church even if I pay twice, I would still not have passed my regulated N300 naira budget and even have an extra N20 on top. When there was fuel scarcity, my N180 route increased to at most N240, still comfortably within budget. I too dey type. |
They really are cute. This is the first dress of Michelle I truly like but minus the black whatever attached to the gown. |
Dated Toke for 12years and Anita for 8 years? Anita obviously wants a kid of her own, perhaps time is no longer on her side. What am I even doing commenting on a topic by 3:42am? |

*Round and round and round and round we go* All these media talk is quite distracting. This is a true case of crying over split milk. If there is evidence of communication; let it be tendered in court since the 51 senators have already gone to court. You want to deal with Saraki? Do it internally but please get off the media. If it is morally wrong for Saraki to do what he did, it is also morally wrong for the ICC conference that was supposed to hold. If a message was communicated to the CNA that inauguration should be postponed and there is evidence; was a time stated? If according to the 'media' the president slept off, was the inauguration supposed to wait till he had woken up, addressed the 'APC' senators before they and other party senators get down to the business of the day? Has APC forgotten its 'change' slogan already? The aim of the chant, I suppose was to be completely different from the last ruling party, PDP. The president didn't come as at when he should, no one thought it wise to leave even an hour later till nearly two hours later when they raced out of the venue. Make una comot go offline sort una matter. |
Yummmy! Edward, some stuffs aren't familiar to us so pictures would help, for example Gherkins. Pls post recipe for chicken pie. No need to keep showing slips with your name on it IMO |
You guys should stop mocking this man abeg. This was the man who campaigned more in my opinion, he was on the streets, markets, villages etc and all he gets is this cruel mockery. The picture cuts a pathetic figure...it is saddening ![]() |
Pad, tin tomatoes, lipton, yam, plantain prices have gone up. Fresh pepper, tomatoes, garri have reduced in quantity and are expensive The only prices of some stuffs that haven't changed yet are oil, leaves, periwinkles |
My own budget no get part two. My sister shakes her head everytime but all my daily expenses are recorded in a spreadsheet in my small nokia phone. I always go to the market with a list that way when I bargain and get less than what I had budgeted for, I can shift the surplus into something not in the list or move the surplus somewhere else. Do I overspend? Yes but it's rare. Food is dished as you can finish. Food rarely gets wasted, I am strict about that. |
It's hilarious because I am not yet a parent. I doubt if I'd find it funny if my children did these. |
The problem with APC lies with having so many leaders within it and the leaders each lord of his own region are unbent |
If not because most APC supporters are sentimental; the right questions and to whom will have been asked. 1. What time was the inauguration? 2. Did David Mark and the clerk declare the 8th assembly open at the time they weren't supposed to, say 5am? 2b. Why then is Saraki termed a traitor? Nigeria wanted the inauguration by 10; the 'president' called for a meeting by 9; who should Saraki have obeyed; Nigeria or the President, seeing that APC rode on the change slogan? 3. Is it right that some Senators-elect would go for a conference when they are supposed to be inaugurated? 4. Does the President have the right to call for a conference knowing that his party members aren't the only one to attend the inauguration without taking steps to 'plead' for a postponement? 5. Did Buhari truly call for a meeting? Any evidence to this fact? Who was the party leader that confirmed the meeting? 6. Is it wise using this 'conference' story seeing that the executive is not to interfere with the legislative arm? 7. What is the way forward? Now, if a meeting was for 9 and the president hadn't come by 10, why didn't BAT or Oyegun put a call to the President's aide and either verify his coming or plead that he postpone the inauguration? It buggers the mind that APC took other Senators-elect from other party(ies) for granted especially seasoned politicians. After answering these questions, you can then go forth and tackle Saraki. PDP has no blame here at all, the blame should be apportioned between the President, the leaders of the APC - shey dem plenty na, the conference attendees and the APC inauguration attendees. |
So, I can pull random pictures off the internet and say they are going somewhere with no proof? Okay, I declare that these ladies were the ushers for the inauguration dinner |
Yummy, I used to check out chichi's blog before I stopped. In the bid to enable me eat rice, I have tried different sauces and stews; Traditional fish/chicken/goatmeat stew (though I now sprinkle scentleaf in mine) Geisha stew Vegetable with fish and fresh tomato sauce Chicken afritada Cabbage and minced meat stew Ofada stew One sauce where you use irish potatoes and flour I had this curry chicken sauce recipe but hadn't tried it, will try your version. |
Edward, try and post the recipes for each food/desserts. I like your thread already, following. This might stimulate my interest in food again |
Did you actually type 'I want to know if I am a main or side chick' with a straight face? You sure are trolling |
