dabrake:Gracias Senor, Merry Christmas |
Do people still do this? Wanting to marry a girl without seeking her consent first? First, perish all thoughts of and for your ex. How old is this girl in question? And if she hasn't pleasantly received you which must have been noticed by her parents, why haven't they called you after having understood their daugther's reasons. I really don't know what to say to you but if I was that girl's sister, I would tell her to tell you plainly what she wants because her behaviour shows she isn't into you - I might be wrong. I don't think I would appreciate it if someone went to my parents first without giving me a chance to know them...that's pure pressure. And when you say good girl, I am assuming one who is decent in all ramifications which doesn't mean she'll make you happy or you her. Try to meet with the girl's parents again or tell them to have a talk with her. Marriage I believe shouldn't be rushed into especially when you haven't found the one. |
barcanista:You are a true Nigerian. I hope politics is in your future cards. #respect Do you honestly think this would get to Amaechi? |
Really nicevizkiz:They are cute together and she seems to like braids so much. |
Yobo and son, so on point. Ada, which kain hairstyle be this? Not feeling wifey at all. It's all good sha. What matters most is that their family and every other out there continues to blossom |
Not so hot. I would have prefered her shoulders leaning slightly forward with one hand splayed on her tummy and the other on her hair. That would have given her a woman on fire look. |
Why didn't you tell her the house is yours? People make better decisions when they are fully informed of the prevailing circumstance(s). If she knew the place was yours, her answer would have been different not because of ulterior motives but because she'd know how ridiculous it would be to trade an asset for a liability. But you keeping that information to yourself and expecting a perfect reply from her is ridiculous. |

This isn't a short story/flash but I am partial to this piece ![]() SWEAT, TEARS and BLOOD Gasping for breath, Breathing in slowly, Mouth agape to take in more air, But it’s not enough. Stiff and sore, My legs in protest go numb; And as I try to beat them into revival, I am drenched in my own SWEAT. The silence is deafening. The waiting game gets more intense. The door slowly opens and I am dragged out; My hands outstretched to stop the blows that are being rained. The blows land with terrible accuracy; And I try to take it with dignity, God knows I try, But even he cannot stop these TEARS. The waves come for me and I gladly follow, I want to drown in it and never return, Perhaps a better place exists, Perhaps the moans I hear must be from someone else. Something is wrenching my insides. “No, not again; please stay,” I plead silently. But perhaps my baby is scared of coming into a turbulent home. And now, I watch helplessly as my unborn child leaves me in a pool of BLOOD. |
so, I guess I am the only one with a browser. I have given flour and yeast, if you want a full baked bread, then make your bread. You are welcomeCheers Otunbakay: |

prewtyjulie:You aren't Yoruba so 'Ifa' might not mean anything to you. And I don't want to translate because if you are too much of a religious person, you might not get the joke. Dropping your pen a few weeks back doesn't mean learning has to stop or has stopped. For example, if you are the type that likes fashion...you'd be in the fashion thread and check out fashion magazines and watch award shows or fashion shows...because you know that you'd see fashionistas; the ones with good and bad tastes. When you watch or read anything that is tailored along your line of passion or interest...you are going to learn if not consciously, then unconsciously. But you should strive to know/learn even outside your interest area. Cheers |
dkronicle:Of course! I'd forgotten about the french people *rolls eyes* |
prewtyjulie:Haba! How did the thread confuse you more? The whole thing is self explanatory. It is even numbered and spaced. If this confused you, then your case na for IFA ![]() |
So, I got asked this question this evening because my friend thought that as a literary person, I am a walking dictionary. Well, all the answers I gave him didn't satisfy him till I told him, I'd Google it... ![]() The google search led me to a site that I thought would be educative to some. The initial question was *What do you call one who hates all forms of arguments?* The answer could either be 8 or 9...although I'd tilt more to No. 9 1. Misodoctakleidist Someone who hates practicing the piano. See also: Someone who isn't very good at playing the piano. 2. Misocapnist Don't like smoking? Well, it kills these people. Misocapnists hate tobacco smoke in any form. 3. Misoneist Misoneists hate novelty, trends, or innovation. You can guess how fun they are at social gatherings. 4. Misopogonist Someone who hates beards. (Strangely, we haven't found the name for someone who hates mustaches.) 5. Misogelast Lighten up! Victorian novelist George Meredith coined the term "misogelast" to describe people who hated laughter, or at the very least, considered it low-class or crude. 6. Misogamist Misogynists hate women. Misandrists hate men. And misogamists hate marriage, no matter who's getting hitched. 7. Nomomisist Someone who experiences nomomisia, hatred or disgust for a particular name, like Gertrude, Chester, or Kardashian. 8. Misopolemist Why can't we all just get along? Misopolemists hate war or strife. 9. Misologist Meanwhile, misologists hate arguments, debates, or enlightening discussions. 10. Misapodysist Someone who hates undressing in front of others, even a romantic partner. 11. Misophonist Many of us experience some form of misophonia, an extreme intolerance for certain sounds. Nails on a chalkboard is the ultimate example. Or perhaps it's gum smacking, open-mouthed chewing, crunching on ice, or other sounds regularly heard in public. Ugh. http://m.mentalfloss.com/article/53608/11-words-people-who-hate-certain-things |
She is fine, I like some of her clothes but not hotter than Kim K. Also she seems to like her phone too much... |
To get enough votes from women? Ask Sarah Jibril how many votes she got from women during all the PDP primaries she participated in. Even if late Dora (God bless her soul) were to be fielded...she would not get massive support from women. |
Your blood too hot! That's someone's wife and mother you are calling a prostitute. No one should be insulted because of their opinion especially as you haven't even verifed the handleNB: Even prostitutes can have an opinion. bashorunbazok: |
OP, you should have used a warning in your title...these pics can give one a nightmare ![]() Ermm, Kim wannabe, you would need more surgeries to undo these surgeries |
You are assuming Jonathan spent taxpayers money. I speak based on what I know about politicians. I said Jonathan may not have used much of his money A local commissioner wanted to do the burial of his mother, he got 10 cows...3 were slaughtered and he owns the remaining 7 which were given to herdsmen to take care of. Now, he could choose to donate 1 of these cows to another politician or use it for a celebration when he is no longer a commissioner...or do whatever. The cows, drinks, bags of rice were all given by people seeking to impress. People visit his house sometimes with goats, yams, chickens, drinks...they rarely buy stuffs like that Another house of rep member did the burial of his wife's parents...I don't want to say how the stuff was funded but note that I have given two examples. So, when I say Jonathan may not have spent much. I know how it could be. If he told Otedola or sent a card; Otedola would want to sponsor a part of the event, same with others. That I am not impressed with the government of the day doesn't mean I should blindly criticise...I do not lose objectivity even if it involves my enemy. sevule: |
