PoliticsRe: Yar’adua Leaves For G8 Summit On Wednesday by Enquirer: 1:55pm On Jul 08, 2009
His going is good even if we don't gain anything from the summit. No matter how emotional we may feel about the situation in the country right now, that doesn't detract from the fact that this nation is important to the stability of sub-saharan Africa. The international community recognizes that even if we disagree. He maybe lackluster but still he's the president and if this nation is invited he'll have to go.
BusinessRe: What Business Would You Start With N150,000.00 Please? by Enquirer: 1:39pm On Jul 08, 2009

BusinessRe: Zain Africa Has Finally Been Sold To Vivendi Of France At $12billion by Enquirer: 1:32pm On Jul 08, 2009
Is it not better to rebrand if that is what is necessary rather than go bankrupt with its ugly consequences on the economy? Personally,  if another foreign investor is what it will take to keep Zain (or whatever its name becomes) successful, then I think it is good for the nation's economy. I hope this will translate into more jobs for our teeming graduates.

BusinessRe: 71 Year Old Billionaire Bags 150 Years Imprisonment For Fraud. by Enquirer: 11:57pm On Jul 02, 2009
The sentence reflected the seriousness of the impact his "Baba Ijebu" scheme had on his clients which included both the high and mighty as well as the poor. He shattered lives and created insecurity in old age for a lot of retirees with his deceptive scheme which he ran for decades without detection.

In our clime, he won't even be arrested, talk less of prosecuting him. I'm sure he got what he deserved.

Delayed justice is denied justice. Jailbreaks are precipitated by desperation. People wait for trial forever in this country sometimes for offenses that wouldn't get more than a few months' jail term.
