Well done OP. Your diary is a good read, filled with words of encouragement and hope.
God bless you and other programmers out there with wisdom and intelligence.

For all who are interested in learning some programming languages, freecodecamp.org is good for learning.

Coursera is good too, and there are tons of learning community out there now, like Udemy, Udacity, Tutsplus and others.
Thanks bro

My eairly days programming was kind of close but not any more.

Now, am self emoloyed and i spend about 10hours coding in 24hrs and anytime a finished a big project i kind of give myself 2-3 days off.

My free time is to play with my kids and wife sometimes i take a great work along the road just to see things and get the breeze of a fast moving cars and good view of clubs and hotels around.

I have a target on programming and it not as much as what young programmers aim these days.

Have seen someone coding 18hrs daily and have heard programmer claimed that also. I used to cade close to that hrs but not anymore.

The youths have been so mentally abused that it becomes almost impossible to exercise judgement in thought. This is synonymous to slavery. Even when you make attempts to set captives free, they see you as the aggressor and snitch on you, because that have grown to love(?) their slavemasters.

On the one hand, it is my firm believe that Nigeria will not make progress due to its weak foundation built on lies and deceit. If you're building a house and you discover a weakness in the foundation, do you continue adding structures to it in the hope that God is in control or you pull it down and correct the anomaly - A call for Referendum.

One might argue: if you say Nigeria will not make progress, what about all our achievements so far? I answer, motion is not progress. What we have is one step forward, two steps backwards and this is as bad as a continuous decline.

On the other hand, let us assume for once that Nigeria can stand as a nation. The question will now be, do we as youths who claim to be leaders of tomorrow know who/what our problems are? Do we know who the real enemies are? Are we standing against those whose desire is to enslave us permanently or are we fighting against the few who want to break the chains.

To sum up, if we must make progress we must be willing to accept the bitter reality and do what is necessary. This British conglomerate we call a country has outlived its usefulness, thus, we must renegotiate its existence.

I stand with Referendum
How i wish Nairalander read this.

YOUR HEAD GO BLOW OR YOU WILL LATER RUN.

Lol relax...i juat want to talk about how to learn programmjng faster and leaving out noises out of your learning.

Today it quite imposible for anyone to count the numbers of Programming languages and framworks on a particular programming language.

If you are just starting i will advice you stick to some of theae stuffs below if you dont want to be discurage or get frustrated in this field. I cant count numbers of people asking me how do i deal with forgetfulness..how i assimilate stuff and how i learnt all those framworks...imagin ALL THOSE FRAME WORKS!!!!

Well here are tips that works.

1. Learn only what you need now. I see no reason learning laravel when you dont even underatand oop in vanila php. How could you try moving to react when you cant even code ES5 in js.

2. Dont learn 2 language at the same time no matter how smart you are. If you do you wont understand any of them well. Funny enough if you even learn one first and you did not take your time to study it well and practice it well before you jump to another language in no time you will start forgetting the formal. Thats the game. Stick with it till it sink into your syatem before you step to new atuffs.

3. Have a good reason for learning a P.language. i cant stress this enough. Dont just pick a language for fun. Fun alone is not enough to keep you learning in time of challenge, you need more to get you to flurish in the p.languge.

4.stay away from frameworks until you have a great and good reson to learn one. Also limit the way you rock framworks...dey are the same thing.

5. You cant understand everything but you can k ow most things so dont border yourself about tryin g to learn it all. It not possible.

People always say there are lots to learn in programming and confused when the see list of things you could learn but in through sense not list of things you should learn.

If am not mistaking i have address this issue more than twice on this trend.

I will attempt to point out a thing or two with the hope that you'll be able to review your points from another perspective.

General Consideration
1. Are elections in Nigeria clean up to 80%? (even a 20% malpractice is huge but let's be gentle).

2. Do you honestly believe, I mean can you tell your 2 year old child that votes actually count in Nigeria?

3. What are the impacts from all previous elections you've voted in, assuming you voted in all previous ones?

4. It is said that ONLY A F00L does thesame things over and over and expects a different result. To what extent do you agree/disagree? Has there been any changes in the polling structure? If yes, what are these changes? If no, do you not see the folly in expecting people to go and vote again to continue the cycle of ignorance?
I was reading a post here on nairand came across this and decided to post it here

Just to add this...i dont know...what Nigeria youths are waiting for.

Now coming to Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB
5. Does participating in Nigeria's elections while demanding for a referendum not show unseriousness?

6. If one admits that the current state of elections is a mess, and there has been no deliberate attempt to make changes, does participating in the elections not lay legitimacy to the messed up system? On what moral/ethical ground does one now complain about the system? This is Nnamdi Kanu's argument paraphrased.

7. Do you not see that you're being taken for granted. They lure you with all sorts so you give an appearance of legitimacy. Take it or leave it, the plan is for Atiku to win the election while Jibruhari fades into oblivion, that's if they don't assassinate the imposter.

Finally, it is on this same platform that someone opened a thread with the topic: What do the Igbos really want

We want a level playing field and not this covert and overt oppression and suppression. We want freedom. We demand a Referendum!
Am quoting this in a post...you make sense

Nigeria need away out...

I believe the journey to freedom is not a day journey but can start in a second. Nigerian need to be free from these political slave trade masters.

Today i stand to challenge Nigerian youths before the day of election.

APC and PDP are the leading parties in Nigeria, please which of their presidential candidates deserve to lead this country again. Just be sincere with yourself or try to be sincere because of the future of you generation to come.

This is not a thing of party now, let us be sincere with ourselves. How long can we wait to see the way we are being treated as a slave in our own country.

South African is what it is today because their youths fought to finish. Why are we so silent and also dying in our silence.

Sanity is almost turning to scares commodity, it is so hard before you see youths thinking striaght and if you manage to see one out of twenty, try to spend few more time with him or her, something will surely reveal the negative impact the environment silently made in him or her.

Youths are the future of the country but these todays youths stories has changed. Yahoo Yahoo, Money ritual, 419, Harmed robbery and the likes are now the only left profession for some unfortunate youths that want to meet up with daily challenges. A day hardly pass without unlawful act of killing by money ritualist, most killing leads to yahoo yahoo money ritualist. Our Environment is not even secure for us not to talk of foriegners.

Major Nigerians youths cant protest againt what we dont want, most of us fear death yet the end result of our silence is killing us one after the other much more than it would have if we had fought it out. Our brothers and sisters are dying like chicken because of basic amenities like Security, Good Medicals, Power Supply and Good road just to mention few. Can citizen successfuly start a business without the above listed.

Am not advocating violence here am only saying Nigerian youths silence is actually one of the resons our right has being taken away. We even dont need violence, we only need to SAY NO and let the world ear our voice. We are strong, we are inteligent, we can restructure Nigeria.

If we fight it out from today our childeren will enjoy it tomorow. Madiba never knew he could enjoy what he fought for at a stage but as God we have it, he lived to lead as a president, good leader and today The World is celebrating him as a legend.

Nigeria youths has to turn this country around. Pls let us stop fighting against each other on most of these politician that have proven themselves to us as nothing but figure head and selfish beast.

Don't dance to the beat of political youth thugs, dont collect money to vote, stop preaching good about a candidate you know has been given chance yet failed his country, Stop fighting against politicians that have no clue on how to tidy their office rooms not to talk of a country.

Let us stand up for a Change, for growth, for Assured future. Youths please let us stand up for Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria.

Whichever one you choose to go for.. it will be good if you have a basic knowledge of programming before you start. This will help you to implement and apply real practical. Most of the tutorials online are more of theory.
If really you admire any of this great field please get a good mentor or online school that specialise in such training.
You could tech yourself programming through great dedication but advance level like AL and Cybal security need more solid rock. It makes no sense to spend 3years or more training yourself when in 3m to 6months and you will be well loaded and must have gone through less stress.

ProgrammingRe: Which Is Better For Form Validation by ensodev(m): 10:46pm On Nov 28, 2018
eberedigital:
Let me just start with this, whatever you do you should have some sort of server validation in place.

Js validation is extremely useful from a ux point of view. Users don't need to submit the form first before being notified of validation errors and this makes for a wonderful user experience.

but js runs on the client and you usually have no control over this. The user might have js disabled and thus your script won't run and he will bypass the validation process or advanced users can manipulate the script and temper with the validation rules.

php validation should serve as your last guard to user submitted content as this runs on the server and the user can't turn it off or manipulate.

so the answer is both have their places. js is used to improve ux while php ensures that the right data is stored.

if you were to pick one though, definitely php
My oga said it all...
