What do you think is the best solution to this menace of the herdsmen? You will remember that they have been killing people ever since the days of Jonathan and some of the killings even extends far back to Yar'adua Era.

If we say Buhari is the one sponsoring them, we will be lying. However, Buhari's inability to deal with them with iron hand is emboldening them. I even suspect those guys have an affiliation with boko-Haram and this is a coordinated attack going by how fast they can kill and run.

Herdsmen killings can be traced to far back as possible u can think, but the fact is that , our grand parents lived peacefully with the Fulani herdsmen in the north mostly because they were not much then and most of them have been in Nigeria for a very long time and have live with Nigerians, but since they started gaining population from their brothers in other countries , they started misbehave and started having issues with the farmers, and their leaders in the north refused to stop the foreigners from entering Nigeria of which most of them are brutal than the ones we are used to in Nigeria , they are densed and believe they are supreme...

The likes of Baba Buhari plays alot role in Fulani increasing population in Nigeria, maybe for political reasons, never for once has these leaders call those senseless herders to order, fulanis have taken Hausa state like Bauchi, Zamfara, Adamawa, kastina...



Fulani leaders like Buhari, Atiku, El Rufai...are not helping issues....many people have been blaming Buhari most because of his role in protecting herders each time they commit crimes in plateau , Kaduna, Adamawa...the one in saki , Oyo State, is still fresh in many Yorubas memories where fulanis slaughtered farmers in saki, and not even a Fulani leader came out to condemned the wicked act, but when the Yorubas mobilise from all part in Oyo State, and went for finishing , where fulanis were killed like rats, Baba Buhari mobilised their leaders to protest in Oyo, and look like he wants to slap then Gov Lamidi Adesina...




The solution to it, is for the leaders of Fulani to call their people to order and stop the foreign herders from entering nigeria if they know they don't have other motives... The herders enter as if Nigeria is failed country.... After calling them into order , both the herders and farmers should be compensated by Govt.... Without that, the killings will continueostly in the north central.

It will be easier for them to use the kill and run method in the middle belt because they have some sizeable population there and although I might not understand the demograhics much but I am sure the Fulanis might be up to 5-10% or more in the middle belt.

If they use the same method in Yorubaland for example (killing Yorubas in huge proportion like the Jos incident), we will have no choice that to unleash terror on the rest of any Northerner that moves. They would be totally banned from their cattle rearing in the Yoruba territories and even if they do hit and run, they won't have much places to hide like they are doing in the middle belt.

Also, the Yorubas are part of the tribe that are very difficult to contain in the history of Nigeria. Most of the uprisings that have shook the nation have always been attributed to the SW region. Buhari and the Northern leaders are playing with the heads of the Fulani herdsmen coz when people start returning the killing back, even the military will not be able to contain the guerrilla mode of extermination that will follow.

We don't pray for that ... We pray for peace... One of the greatest problem with those herdsmen is illiteracy....and their educated leaders are not helping issues. Most of the big politicians today in the north are Fulanis...that's why u cannot call them fulani herdsmen , they see it as insult to the Fulani tribe...most media houses will say Gunmen, abductors, bandits.. May God help Nigeria.

Buhari and the Northern leaders are not wise, they are setting up the Fulanis for a large massacre in the coming years by their action and culture of silence. Man to man, Fulanis are no match for the southerners. Like Benue dey take cover in Nasarawa state, since Taraba is blocked...U people cannot fight them, because of the way they operate, they massacher and run, ND later comes back when the army and police have rounded everywhere... e.g plateau case , after kiling in Birom, they all ran away , when the Birom angry youths went for masacher , they met empty villages and were meant to burn it and were arrested by the police... In Adamawa , dey attacked a Christian communities and killed many more than 50 in 2018, when .The angry communities youths went to their villages it was empty but were able to trace some like five and killed them, presently those christians guys have been sentenced to death by the court, but up till now no herdsmen have been prosecuted for the killings of the parents of those guys sentenced, as such, many family are bittered and would want to take revenge...


You can only overcome them when the military remain neutral and doesn't interfere, and if they don't have state to take cover... they cannot fight the Yorubas , tho, they have conquered hausas, ... They operate when sleep dey sweet, around 1am, 2am, and 3am, before 4am and 5am Dem don recked havoc and ran to take cover ....I pray they don't attack Yoruba the way they attack Benue, cos it can cause war.
