The only striker we have in the team is Martial and he's not that reliable. We also need more control in the midfield. Those are more pressing for me.

Nothing different from what the likes of Leicester, Wolves, Burnley have done in the past 5 seasons, most especially Leicester. They tend to always go back to their level after that. Right now, they are overperforming, just like Leicester were few seasons ago.

Newcastle has taken Leicester place as the usual midtable club that usually bump into the midst of top 4 race. In 2 or 3 years max, another team will replace them. If you are a regular EPL follower on the past 10 seasons, you'll see it as normal.

But if they get investments to improve on what they're building this season, don't you think it won't be a flash in the pan for them?

On a more serious note, those guys are guaranteed a top 4 place this season alongside Arsenal and City. Other other teams can fight for 4th place.

They were more space on the ground than air but they lacks the brains to do that. But the issue wasn't even the crossing of the balls but they were literally "ballooning" it, with the crosses lacking power or curve to it. Just dey kick ball go up without any velocity to it.
