Honestly players bumping into each other on the field has been a regular occurrence recently. I expect Ole to address that. Everyone should know what position to take when someone is with the ball. Pep handles this very well, I expect Ole to do same.

It's 2020, the year of coloma vilus, and our attackers still bump into each other like headless chickens. Disappointing

In the whole of 90 minutes plus extra time, we Limited Sevilla to just 3 shots on target and they scored from 2. I would have said those defenders should be lined up and shot, but if our attackers have scored just 2 out of their 7 shots on target, it wouldn't have mattered that we conceded 2

At the end of the day, Pep team should be burying at least 3 of those chances and has no business conceding some of those goals they did. Sterling miss was open net with nobody to beat, not even the keeper

One also has to consider the age and experience of these forwards- Martial and Rashford. They’re at that moment when they either become super good or they turn into horrible players.

With the right guidance, they should only become better, right? I mean they have done things before so we already know that they have some massive talents.

I once saw Bruno with the ball and Martial and Rashford running to the same position. Bruno ended up passing the ball to the opposite side because there's no way one of them shouldn't be running to that side. It will count as lost possession or something for Bruno but I know that somebody should be running to that position to pick up that pass

My summary though is that apart from Fred, Bruno, and to a lesser extent Greenwood and Pogba every other player messed up.

And Ole can’t escape his share of the blame this time. The mere fact that he sat there watching like Lawrence Akpokona without making any changes until it was too late is enough for him to be scored low in the game.

To be fair I saw Ole animated on the TL when the scoreline was 1s. As far as I'm concerned je should more concern about the game and performance last night than he has done in recent games. He probably just don't have a plan B

If every solution is to spend and spend huge, there's no guarantee there. Barca has wasted a lot of money spending big on players. For all RM huge spending that brought success, at least in the last decade or so, Ronaldo was the major factor. RM could have spent big on every player and still not do shit without Ronaldo.

It's unfair to say we've not been spending. We have the most expensive CB and CM. Everyone agrees that Martial and Greenwood has some goal scoring talents. For all City spending, they won't have achieved the results they've had and broken those records if not for Pep's tactics and style of play. Ole has the potential to become something big, I have seen some evidence. He just needs to be more consistent and brutal. He needs to demand more from the players and put some names on the bench for a game or two.

Well maybe Ole is thinking about how we equalized and won in injury time in 1999, so it's no problem if his changes are left till 89 minutes

At some point, Rashford switched to the right. I also saw Greenwood move to the left to join Rashford. Things I like to see. Don't just stand like iroko tree in one wing. Maybe the injury don dey go that Rashford is able to switch to another wing, time will tell

On another day, we will be scoring at least 2 of those chances. I'm not bothered. LFC suffered same thing when Klopp took over. As long as this team is playing well, creating chances and limiting the opponent very well every match from kick off, the results will start to trickle in soon

I'm liking your post match views, very rational and not full of emotional rants.

I understand that people want to shout goal and lift trophies. We will get there, its a process. As far as I'm concerned, right now, the current team should focus on developing good sustainable football pattern, win as many matches as possible, have some good runs and score a good number of goals. When we have built an identity, we can now look at who and who will really be a good fit and should be added to the team. I'm telling you that the team will go on to win trophies and dominate. Its a process

We are going to see more of Pogba and Fred in the middle. Fred did well today, Pogba not quite well. I thought he has stopped trying to beat multiple players in the midfield? A simple 1-2 move will delete those players he's trying to dribble.

Unfortunately, we suck at crosses. He should have gone that route or tell his boys to take shots more instead of trying to pass into the post. Martial, Rashford and Greenwood were just unlucky. Sevilla's keeper may well be the MOTM. He was massive in that post
