it isn't even really about favorites.
there was a time most fans were eager to bin Pogba and my argument was always that it didn't make any gaddamn sense. we don't have a good first eleven to begin with, why so much energy to force the best one out? the same guy that topped the goals and assist chart for the club at that just concluded season? in the same team that had Pereira, Lingard, an unsettled Fred and a holidaying Matic as options. I don't know but for me it smelt like an agenda.

here is another guy that has copped 19 goal/assists in 21 games since his arrival, an average of over 0.8 goal involvement and people are jumping on his case? what do our fan base really want? if we say he needs to improve his final balls, that's great; but don't they say practice makes perfection? abi e get wetin I dey miss?

I think he is playing more like a SS since the restart of league compared to when he joined in January, and this seems to be affecting the midfield, coupled with Matic always dropping between the two CBs thereby leaving only Pogba in the middle.

The gaps between the attack, midfield and defense is so uncoordinated. They should be able to push up to cover these gaps when necessary, unless there is no pace in that defense and midfield to sprint back some distance when needed

Honestly our fb still don't show that they've been practicing attacking moves. They showed some hints when the season resumed but they gone back to default settings. Most of the time, they don't just know where to run to. Same with other players. We lose the ball too easily in the final third, it's a disgrace

Also most of our players are afraid to make that run. Almost like they don't trust their teammates or the ball to get to them. They should be making more runs and trusting their teammates to find them with the ball. Always trying to go through the middle is killing our game. We need real wing play.

Second half wasn't bad yesterday. First half was horrible. This is a familiar experience with this team. I wonder why Ole and his boys can't start the game like it's the last minutes and they need an equalizer? Serious teams will want to make the opponent understand that they stand no chance and they shouldn't even think about it. But this team will allow opponents believe that they're the bigger team. Almost like OGS uses the first half to study his opponents. That's not a big team mentality

shey you expect Ole to enter the brains of Fred, AWB and Maguire to enable them release the ball on time or to stop them from dancing on the field. AWB will need to improve alot for him to fit the system we are playing. Yes, he is a good defender. but he is a liability during build up as he is susceptible to pressing and his ball progression is very poor. When he gets the ball he usually passes it to Pogba or Baily instead of the forward option to Bruno or Greenwood.

Defense will always be calamitous when it's always under pressure. When there's always a free pass for opponents, it's a problem for defenders anywhere. Bring a midfield that can control the game, win balls back and run all day, the defense will be very solid. I can't speak for his ability on the ball, however his defensive ability was quite good
