Mourinho was insisting on more defenders. That's the problem I had with him. He totally ignored the midfield. No coach can survive that in today's football. Mou in charge of another transfer window would have insisted on getting more defenders. I read that OGS has submitted his list of players he wants in his team. I'll rather wait till then. Maybe some of these players found out that they may be declared surplus to requirement and decided to start playing rubbish

What changed? It's obvious these players though talented can't maintain that intensity. They're far gone, and irredeemable. They can't pass, they can't run, and they're not going to change overnight. Maybe some are beginning to feel bigger than the others but no manager in this world can correct. They'll rather sell those players away.

You can't have a pattern of play without a midfield. It's just not possible. We currently don't have one, so stop expecting miracles

Check the way we are playing now and the way we were playing when OGS was first appointed and you will notice something.

We were pressing from the front, covering ground and always trying to win all the 50/50 ball. OGS did all these with these set of players, so what happened? OGS has changed something, maybe he’s trying to experiment or he just feel he has gotten the job on a permanent basis and then he can relax but this is not the way he started and that is why I am critical of him. It is not because I have any agenda against him or whatever. Only a fool will change what has been working for him.

Why you would think this is a reason is beyond me. Don't managers on permanent deals get sacked? You're not even aware of any clause in the contract or you think there's none?

The last United match I watched was that our FA loss to Wolves. It was obvious that we didn't know how to play football and nothing was being done about it. It was excuses upon excuses. I wont even watch next season until I see some serious transfers

Might be better we stay out of Europe, no European football or commitment, for a season and really focused on rebuilding and clearing out the hubris in the squad.

This team won't go anywhere or amount to anything. There really is a lot of work to be done on this team.

The team needs serious rebuilding. No coach can correct some of these players mentality and work rate.

I expect the club to have concluded some deals already by now. Until then I can take them serious.

The personnel are not entirely the problem. The work rate demanded of them is very poor, and if nothing is done to correct that, even the new players that comes in will become like those they met.

If you won’t see anything wrong in the line up yesterday, I don’t need to continue this argument.

I expect OGS to try every player he has, give them a chance and at the same time give the club a reason why they need to be replaced. Let him try everybody and by end of the season he can discard the ones that have not done well. There's no way any selection was going to win that match, no way.

Yes OGS can’t be judged on the current crop of players since he’s working with what he has, the team selection yesterday was wrong and I blame him totally for that.

I'm of the opinion that these guys ignore everything and learn how to make simple forward passes. Just learn to pass with teammates and make off the ball runs. How can professionals not know this?
