eleshin: Simple, stop playing Mctominay and Eriksen. Amrabat will still be needed in the lb position to cover for our injured lb. We may see a midfield of Casemiro, Mount and Bruno |

Very good game for most part today. We need to see the hunger every game. It's a team sport and everyone must be involved. Cover for each other and win together. Hopefully we won't hear anything about not having bench or options anymore for now |

See the way they rush to win balls back. We’re not looking for any split second difference here. Dominate the game, create chances and win |

See the way they're playing with hunger today.
Is this kind of attitude too much to ask of our players every match day?
This is what you get when you play with players that are comfortable on the ball instead of using counter-attack merchants
Thank God say transition no dey today omo😌 This is what we have been crying for that they refused to listen. I guess Sancho has finally apologized and back in the team, that's why they're playing serious football |

ChristoBam: The thing you're missing is he's supposed to be a major part of our squad. Did you even watch our preseason games? I knew something was fishy when we played the first game with him on the bench.
How many forwards do we even have in the team. If we'd known this would be the situation with Sancho we'd have made another signing up front.
You might prefer to focus on a player you'll be able to curse every weekend rather than look at the whole situation. We're having to play Bruno on the right wing because this fool decided to act like a brat. We're basically predictable now because whenever we play against a solid team, every ball over the top on the break will be towards Rashford. Rashford is also the only one going at players up front.
You can't leave the brat that bailed and then blame the one that'll show up every single time even with a broken back.
Out of all these players. Very few deserve to be at the club. Very few are actually good. Very few are top talents. You know them, so why direct the vile to these ones and then absolve the ones that 'bailed'. LMAO Sancho at RW? Even in preseason, I don't remember him playing there. Just leave me abeg |

Ellexy: You know what is funny, Ronaldo fan boys defending and making excuses for Sancho just to spite Ten Hag. The irony of it all makes one laugh. Ronaldo is the epitome of professionalism and hardwork, and would do anything to maintain that mark but his fan boys are coozing up to what their ídolo can't tolerate. Issorai Very easy to identify ole fan boys |

Ellexy: I read the whole thing and I just couldn't deal. I guess it's because the mind has been wired recently to oppose everything you say cos you're seen as an ETH defender and anti Ronaldo. All objectivity is thrown out of the window without them even realizing. I was wondering when this was going to come up |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 2:22pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
ChristoBam: Lmao if that's your interpretation of the whole Convo then na you sabi. It's funny aafter our exchange, you run out with the narrative I'm blaming certain players. Meanwhile na you dey do the blaming. The players we're talking about came into the Convo cuz na you dey find list of who's deserving of blames.
You tried to absolve Sancho of any faults cuz he's not gotten game time and then realized that was silly. You've then jumped on Antony. All of these just to say there are not a lot of people to throw blames at asides from Rashford. I have chosen to see Sancho as not one of our players anymore. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't want to be here and we won't miss him. We have never missed him. I don't even want ETH to add him back to the team. For some reason, you see this as me absolving Sancho of whatever, that's you and ellexy problem. He has never had a major role in the team even though he has had his moments. But if you prefer to leave those that are currently in the team and need to do better, to concentrate on those that may never be a part of the team again, you need help. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 1:56pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
Ellexy: Why do you guys always miss the point of a message and pick an extreme to amplify? What's so hard to understand that the team needs all hands on deck especially seeing the RW issue the club is currently facing and this is the worst time for Sancho to be throwing tantrums. Nawa oo
I've read this thing many times and I don't understand this. What's the point of the message? That the absence of Sancho and Antony is what's affecting the team? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 12:30pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
The same Sancho that has not been a first team player for a long time is the one Rashford and co are missing |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 12:22pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
ChristoBam: Firstly, you're missing the point. Yeah, Sancho has been on and off the team and there's a reason for this. This is his third season here and he's not done shit. Least you'd expect coming into the new season is more commitment and hardwork than every other person in that team. But we've had the exact opposite.
Sancho is supposed to be our other option from the right. But he's decided to be stupid so far this season. Now we've had to switch one of our vital players from his best position.
And the fact that you can ask how Rashford has been better than Antony this season just says a lot about how much you guys flip-flop. Or is it the same Antony that hasn't done a single thing right this season? I'm always one of those that want to defend him but couldn't even muster a word of defense for the guy. Antony has been out of the team. He had off field issues that may even have been affecting him but Antony has always been an average player, if not below average so I don't care. However I like how you're blaming players that are absent for the performance of those that are present. It's cute |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 12:19pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
I think the reason Sancho doesn't want to apologize is because he doesn't want to play for ETH or the club anymore. This is an excuse not to play and he is fine with it. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 11:14pm On Sep 25, 2023 |
ChristoBam: Is it only about those that are featuring regularly or those that actually make the team look really good on paper but are actually bums in reality. The likes of Sancho and Antony.
Anyways na you sabi. You can create a list. Sancho has been on and off the team. I don't think he's had up to 50 minutes of football this season. What does he have to do with the rubbish we play every day? Antony? Hasn't he been injured like since weeks ago? In fact how have Rashford been better than Antony this season? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 11:00pm On Sep 25, 2023 |
ChristoBam: Anyone apart from Rashford, Bruno, Case and the new signings.
And by Vile, I mean all the, 'he's useless', 'he's not good enough', 'he should be sold'. And then the continuous hammering on his weaknesses to draw up an agenda that the player's the cause of something. And then all the revisionism that's aimed at totally rubbishing the player. So we're left with Lindelof, Dalot, AWB. These are the ones that have featured regularly. AWB has been injured so we're left with Lindelof and Dalot. You're right these two guys have continuously let the team down this season. They should be replaced asap if we want to become a top team like we used to be |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 10:49pm On Sep 25, 2023 |
ChristoBam: Na you sabi. Fact is he was good throughout last season. Hitting that post world-cup form throughout the season is a feat reserved for very few. So pipe down the vile directed towards your actual best players and direct them to those deserving of such. Who are those deserving of such? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 10:42pm On Sep 25, 2023 |
ChristoBam: Rashford was actually good before the world cup. He just wasn't scoring much. But he was actually playing well that some of us believed the goals would come.
I remember because a lot that wanted Ronaldo out used the difference when Rashford was playing as a fuel for agenda. Good. I'm looking forward to December or January. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 10:35pm On Sep 25, 2023 |
Leyqute: He’s not bad tbh. But I think we should use him sparingly, like we should be using Eriksen because his legs are gone.
Those two can’t withstand tough games. But they’ll be okay for low intensity non-physical games against low tier teams where we’re likely to dominate possession.
They both add to our squad depth. I think he did okay against a tough Burnley side. We had about 30% possession |

ChristoBam: He scored 30 goals and asissted 11 last season. He's earned the excuse for being 'out of form'. I can swear even opposition fans understand this cuz they rate the guy.
Unlike most of you, I don't suddenly switch on players and managers. I don't call a player one of the best today and then do the opposite few matches later. He was out of form till late December, after the world cup. What can we achieve with a player that goes out of form for half of the season? Carling cup maybe |
