oismail: Fighting corruption is one of the hardest things to do especially when you are new into the system. People are just 'antagonising' PMB administration for nothing without taking certain things into consideration 1. He's new into the system and due to the reluctant of the last administration to deliver handover note to the administration is also key to the slow start Yeah we all know this. Tinubu told us baba/APC needs 100 days of honeymoon. oismail: Fighting corruption is one of the hardest things to do especially when you are new into the system. People are just 'antagonising' PMB administration for nothing without taking certain things into consideration 2. And to fight corruption you need strong fact and evidence so as not to waste public fund on unrealistic cases. I think that's one of the major reasons why we ain't hearing much this time So if there are no facts or evidence why the allegations in the press? Why is Oshomole our finance minister running his mouth? I believe he said US gave him a list so what other evidence is greater than this? oismail: Fighting corruption is one of the hardest things to do especially when you are new into the system. People are just 'antagonising' PMB administration for nothing without taking certain things into consideration 4. Before now, the federal character has being followed but it has failed us tremendously because the person who is appointing don't even know his appointees too well. If you become Ng president today and you want to honestly appoint some key appointments and you want honest people and (for instance) you being residing in SW since birth, you are most likely going to appoint more people in the SW cux u don't people in other zones except they are recommending them to you. But when he wanted to campaign he had friends and people he can relate with from other region right? |

You've not adviced one who complained and you want to hear from another Well am not like the average Nigerian that's always quick to criticize and pass judgement. I prefer to hear from the accused before i give my own comment. It has happened before on NL. The thread made fp. A guy was accusing the wife not knowing she was on nl too. But before she saw the thread people like you have said all sorts of nonsense. It was when she told her own story that we realized that they were both greatly at fault. So bro continue advising o. |

socialmediaman: These refineries cannot immediately meet the needs of over 40 million liter daily requirement of Nigerians, but a sincere government would build refineries or license private refineries when it removes subsidy and promises to do so. A dishonest government on the one hand would rather not do that so that illegal oil smuggle and sale in the high sea black market can continue.
By the way, did you hear that NNPC would soon become sole importer of crude, and marketers can buy from it and distribute, pending the building of refineries? This is how a serious government who is not interested in shortchanging its citizens operates.
I've checked, I can't see, GEJ cannot reap where he didn't sow, it's not possible! The past government said refineries would be ready by 2016, the present government in order to score cheap points told everyone that the refineries are ready. Now we're getting a different story. Before election subsidy is a scam after election subsidy can't be removed. This government should do away with their noise making, chest beating and propaganda. They would work faster. |
Politics › Re: Who Takes The Credit When A New Administration Completes Previous Projects? by eph12(m): 9:27am On Aug 19, 2015 |
Four years is enough to start and finish a project so if a government can't why should they expect any praise? |
Politics › Re: Who Takes The Credit When A New Administration Completes Previous Projects? by eph12(m): 9:26am On Aug 19, 2015 |
socialmediaman: What I don't really understand is the desperation to give GEJ a name he doesn't deserve. Look, poor leadership doesn't earn good name anywhere in the world, I haven't seen. GEJ started the refineries but wanted to deliver them in 2016 for whatever silly reason, he lost election and there was no need for the laxity on the project. Did you see how they rushed the streetlight project in parts of Abuja after he lost election? Each PDP government was in the habit of using the same electricity as campaign promise since 1999 and GEJ proved that he was no exception, he wanted to give us stable electricity probably towards the end of his 2nd term so that we would vote PDP, don't you think that was pathetic? If not for his loss at the polls, things would have continued to wait till eternity before they work. The imaginary gas pipeline "vandals" disappeared on May 28 and our power generators started receiving adequate gas supply since May 29.
And when you blame "opposition" was his works not bearing fruits, remember it is CLUELESS to keep working with saboteurs who are making your administration ungovernable, it's unimaginable! He knew what he was doing, he was probably benefitting from all the sabotage, that's my best explanation and I have very good and solid reasons for this conclusion And these refineries are they working now ? Do you think they can be fully operational this year? From what's on ground i think 2016 is a reasonable target. By the way incase you don't know our government still pay for subsidy on a daily basis. |

Forget what was said and not said about office of the First Lady, there are very important roles the wife to the President should play in the society and I believe she will need some help to do that.

kaypound: Rev Kukah or whatever his name is an evil agent...and an enemy of Nigeria....and i am totally disappointed in him being a catholic myself. i am sure he is trying hard to cover up some people who have looted this country dry. Is he saying that the money should be forgotten and we should move on because of a few untouchables....people have died because of this money for christ sake...life have been lost. We should condem evil collectively regardless of our religion and not aid and abet it. If he has a company and money was stolen in his company such that the company is broke will he move on and say the people who looted his company should move freely and him knowing who they are? he is a joke....i am really trying hard not to rain insult him. The reason many of us voted buhari is to get our money back and probe the people who stole from us....If this is what he does for 4yrs to get our money back and punish offenders...i am ok and satisfied Nobody is saying he shouldn't probe and jail corrupt politicians but this government should spare us the noise and chest beating. Worm with the appropriate agencies, provide them what they need let them do their job. In the meantime he should face his own job which is policy making and governance. I hope this English is not too much for you to understand. |

PDPwayoo: no nepa or phc office for una area/town/city/state? i remember when we use to block nepa office if we didnt have light for like 2 weeks without any good reason from nepa. My area is Ibafo ogun state. No nepa office as they have closed shop and left. Not one tarred road, no water project funded by government and no light. Very close to Lagos yet very different. Maybe it's because it's far from the state capital that's why nobody seems to care but I was surprised when the government came to campaign during election. I actually thought Ibafo has been removed from the ogun state map. If it must take a protest before government must act then we don't have a government yet. So far APC has been useless as far as am concerned. |

Landlords and elders in your area have to complain to the appropriate authority or youths in your area should hold peaceful demonstration to inform the govt.. . Im sure the transformer in area died some years ago. Yeah it started with Jonathan and no one knows when its going to end. Meanwhile my state governor has always been from APC. The only times he comes or remembers my area is during election. No single government presence going to 5 years now. Which govt are we to hold the peaceful demonstration for? local government, State or federal? |

For all that is reading this, understand this perfectly this world is not your home, a Kingdom is coming from on high; the Kingdom of God which He has prepared for you.Gird yourself and enter into this Kingdom by believing in the name of The Son Of God Jesus Christ the Lord.
