He doesn't. Any US president will always side with Israel any time, any day. But with Trump, he would have been firmer with Netanyahu and no give him free rein. The Hamas attack might not even have happened because the CIA, Mossad, and MI6 can't deny they didn't see it coming. Instead of the US military complex profiteering, Israel would have nipped the assault at the bud.
