atheistandproud: 1. Durability This largely depends on a combination of factors that is mostly dependent on the user. My RN9 Pro is going to three years now. Take good care of your phone with your usage pattern, charging habits, updating habits etc. and see it last. I have videos on the topic but after the hate I received on this thread the last time. I probably will never post anything here.
2. Camera It's decent. If I should go by reviews on YouTube, at least for a MediaTek powered phone, it's okay enough. It's just that it does not seem like a lot of people got it due to it's MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. That's why you have not seen a lot of reviews.
If you can be patient a little, Redmi Note 12 is already available in India and China, they'll probably port it here in January.
Cheers Okay thanks. As for RN12, make e dey. My money no reach. Besides, I intend to use this one for the next two years. By usage pattern, I'm going to be using it for at least, 8hours everyday o. What do you mean by charging habits? |

Please, I need users' experiences and opinions on Redmi Note 11pro. I intend to get one later today. I checked the last 5 pages of this thread but nothing has been mentioned on it. My major focus I camera and durability as I do mobile photography (not commercial) and I don't intend to get a new phone for at least next two years.

LordReed: So far my wife's faith in god or practice of religion has not been a problem to me nor has it been a real problem in our relationship. I respect her right to believe and she respects my right to not believe. We don't try to convert the other. And in all the things that matter religion is not even a factor. Interesting. Thanks for your inputs. I am seeing a girl who ticks all the boxes but religious. I'm thinking about the possible long term effects especially on the children. |

Mrsoft3: as good as this sound and can help a little, it is not the best thing to do. i have heard of depressed people being looked after and the few minutes they could get alone they committed suicide.
explorer a depressed person is one who has lost touch with GOD, they are truly vulnurable in that state. my best treatment is for you to create an atmosphere for the person to be closer to GOd. you can send short msg for them to listen to r if you are with them play it intentionally and pray the holy spirit helps to salvage the situation. your faith can help another persons dieing faith. depression is real, it is deadly a fatal. Depression has little to do with faith, God or religious affiliation. They might factor in as temporary reliefs but that's all there's to it. |

You need to know the cause of his depression before attempting to help.
If his depression stems from occurrence of an event; say, he lost something, someone or so, it's still better. Time heals such wounds. However, if he can't pinpoint to the cause or if he is void of feelings (sadness), that's where problem is. I don't think people get healed from emptiness and void. |

If you have a salary job, post it here and you will be amazed by the number of DMs you'd receive. It's an hoax that people don't want salary jobs. The diversion from salary jobs is due to low availability, not lack of interest. |

Tamaratonye1: Religion does have its repulsive elements. Over the years, however, my fascination with religion has exceeded my disgust with it. It seems most atheists gets to this point, eventually. I've had few relationships, but the one I recall most was enriched by the added dimension the other's spiritual life added to our experience together. I get you. However "the other's spiritual life" might not matter in short-term relationship. I'm quite particular about long-term romance, say marriage, with a religious or spiritual partner. I would like to know if their belief turns out to be a stumbling block, going forward. hahn hopefullandlord budaatum |

pansophist: Why be with them if you don't have same beliefs? Religion transcends culture. People of different cultural background easily blend in, but not religion.
I'm not sure, but I think in Islam, a non-muslim man is not allowed to married a Muslim lady. That's how important it is. So this is a foundational problem. It's common for two diferent religious people (muslim and christain) to date and even marry, in South West. As a pointer, Tinubu is married to Remi who is not only a christain but a pastor in RCCG. There are many cases like that but it's a different ball game when it comes to irreligious vs religious. Asides the fact there are few irreligious ladies in our society, they are usually older too. |

Hello all, this question is borne out of a thread I read some days back about a girl who break with the op due to his atheistic position.
As a secular humanist myself, who is family-oriented and intend to raise kids in the near future. I believe I could get useful tips from your knowledge and experiences.
Kindly share, how do you guys cope with religious partners, long-term ones (wife or husband/ fiance or fiancee) in particular? Do you get discouraged about their religious leanings, and, perhaps, de-convert them in the long run considering the low population irreligious persons in the dating pool?

Kobojunkiee: These ideas are repressed in other societies is why you don't read much of it elsewhere.
In Nigerian society, for instance, women are still fed lies that only men are polygamous when in fact women are also able to, even the married ones, venture out to seek other love interests, and if allowed, make a home with the same, just as the men can. That's the point. There's always this differential rate of social change, in this case, it's as a result of liberalism in the West. Conservative norms are fading out in Nigeria. Gradually. |

It's because the patients with smoke-induced illnesses are not common. Personally, I don't know anyone who is sick or has died as a result of smoking. But I know a lot of smokers, including old papas. Perhaps, if the adverse effects are obvious and common like Malaria, Typhoid and the likes, the rate of smoking might reduce. For now, the warning will remain useless and inconsequential like the "No Parking" signpost. |

Nice gesture by FG to encourage CONUA in their quest to rescue our universities from being destroyed by ASUU. The result will be counterproductive in the long run. Do remember the active members of ASUU are professors and top lecturers. Besides, what will it take the FG to meet ASUU's demands? |
