OZIOGU1:When I was in KSU Anyigba, it wasn’t uncommon for Igalas to rub the “na we get Kogi” mantra on our body especially we the ebiras. Being an Akure born and bred, I didn’t know that the tribalism runs that deep. Like WTF! 🤨 |
Zahraoziohu:Have you tried Ebira Love Connect? It's mostly about matchmaking within the tribe. Very active on Facebook and Whatsapp. And yes, I went through your profile and I'm from Okene. |
Nurullahi:What's the issue with your name? |
All these issues were discussed during camp. You're not expected to miss clearance without any tangible reason. The problem is, y'all don't take the lectures seriously. ![]() |
Rubyjade:Earlier this week, I called the line on your signature to confirm some questions about ICAN but surprisingly, the person denied having her number on Nairaland. I was surprised to no end. ![]() |
Rubyjade:Okay , thank you sir. |
As a graduate of Agricultural economics, is there any exemption for me in ICAN exams? I intend to register this month. |
On female-related issues like this is why I rate Rant HQ on Facebook, the ladies will troop in and take over the comment section; sharing their experiences and perspectives. Reverse is always the case on Nairaland. Men do the answers for them here. ![]() |
OP, what’s the payment like? Is it weekly, biweekly, monthly or is it pay-per-post? I’m seriously considering it as a side hustle. Na money all of us Dey find! ![]() |
Do you have friends? |
Babe do come through for me when I'm low on finances. The most notable one was in my finals when I dived into project writing for my mates. What sapa cannot inspire does not exist On the course of the job, my phone broke and the screen off. Heck, I was so "po" that I can't even afford the "or" so getting a new phone wasn't an option. I already collected the biggest part of the money to fund school fees and rent so I can't even ask for balance until I finish their work. They wan chop me for class so tey I come dey miss class ![]() She gave me her android phone to use for 2 months. I mean, in exchange with my small phone that I should not worry. I was awed. She sacrificed her social media life and friends' side talks for two months so I can excel in my business. During that period, I will check for her classes in department groups to inform her. I no fit forget. I became the talk of the department because olofofo course mates-turned-clients saw her pic on the phone's screen whenever they come to collect their corrected copies. Should I mention that she's pretty to cap her virtues. ![]() |
Jman06:You are right to some extent, though some guys will sweet talk her till she succumbs - with shikini money to flex by the side. Some even went as far as having introduction ceremony and started misbehaving after childbirth. In fact, in Akure here, once a lady fails jamb more than once, expect pregnancy from her soonest. It’s like a pandemic. ![]() |
When she speaks well of you to her friends and family. |
Coolsat:Funny enough, some ebira men share the same stereotype about our women. I schooled in Kogi State University and it's not uncommon to hear people (mostly ebira, igala and okun men) discuss how violent an ebira babe can be. |
When people believe that God is merciful and forgiving of any sin and that only him is worthy to be the judge of wrongdoings, then there's little that preaching can do. |
If you have a girl that uses her money to transport herself to your place, caution you for overspending (on yourself o) and still come through for you when you're broke, you don't know what the Lord has done for you. |
Sheistoopretty: Firstcitizen: occfx:Rich people have premature relationships and marriages too so money can't be a long lasting factor. |
Compromising If you want your relationship or marriage to last, you will make sacrifices. You will accept some things that might even go against your principles. Not once, not twice but every single time you STILL WANT the relationship to continue. That's the simple truth.
|
Treasure17:Personally, I don't have the energy for fire for fire. Former me will resort to what the lady did ; disappear and act like we never met. Win win for both parties. I still use the tactic once in a while tho, emi ika But now, I will call your attention to it. Infact, I don't think I have that patience as before, probably due to the shege-inside-sapa and adulthood factors. ![]() |
One skill that took me long to learn is the art of complaining. I have realized it's a necessity for survival and to avoid see finish in this wicked world that will ride on your calm nature. Now, if you ask me for help and I come through, I will subtly mention how difficult the process was so you won't be eager to ask the next time. And even if you do, I will quickly remind you the tedious processes involved. Because people tend to think some things are easy to do just because you seem okay with doing them, not knowing you're just the "I can't shout" type. Also, if you ask me how I'm doing, I will tell you "I'm fine o but *quickly inserts the current shege I'm facing*. That way, you will know I don't have it all, especially when it comes to finance. Learn to complain. Learn to be assertive. Suffering in silence is not a virtue, else, you will become tissue paper in the hands of people.

Treasure17:It's the same with university too, we rejoiced even when result was not out. In fact, project external defense was two weeks after. ![]() |
"I don't care" attitude has its pros after all. |
They don talk say "good girl no dey pay" (as seen on Whatsapp statuses). ![]() |
emerged01:Lol, pray tell, what kind of topics were you expecting in Romance section? ![]() |
In my area in school then, I learnt a guy caught his babe with meruwa. It was a regular story for abokis to lash fresh babes then so this news is not surprising. |
I doubt one can be redpilled and still find marriage desirable. I seriously doubt. |
Na drugs own worse Especially that Tetracycline ![]() On your way to the shop, you were so assured you will get it right after repeating it. But immediately you greeted the chemist, you're in trouble. ![]() Chemist: what do you need my boy? Me his boy: 🤔
