Words are flaccid. The fact that a lady tells you 'I love you' shouldn't get your emotions high, without confirming from her actions and (subtle) intentions. Words, mere words. Anybody can say anything at anytime. In essence, focusing on your girlfriend's actions in particular and people's in general, to borrow a phrase, will make you a logical and rational human. After observing the consistency in their behavioural pattern, you will be able to make a pragmatic decision in relation with them on the long run. Regardless of the relevancy of their own words. Nigercity:Be specific. Is it electrical, civil or chemical engineering? I actually don't have any idea on the modus operandi of those mentioned companies, in relation to IT students. Visit these companies and get first hand information. You can also reach them through their phone numbers and social media handles. I visited and submitted my (photocopied) forms to like 5 organizations before settling for one. |

Nigercity:Choice of organization for an IT program depends largely on your course of study, location and partly, the salary. The truth is, most organizations don't pay NYSC members, talk more of IT students. Some are even owning their staff so... . This is why government, through ITF (industrial Training Fund) have arranged some finances for students at the end of the program.I'm a student of Agricultural Economics and Extension. After a lot of farm practices in school which majorly fall under the 'Agriculture' aspect of my course alone, I decided to go into administrative aspect of it this time, for the sake of the 'Economics and Extension'. Being in a governmental organization for some weeks now, I realized that you need to be serious if you really want to learn. Unlike private organizations, nobody takes your unseriousness seriously here. But if you have a side hustle, good for you. You can skip days and make some money. Personally, I am very punctual. I want to learn and ensure that my relevance is greatly felt. |

Lack of self-control, high libido, attention-loving spirit, financial gains, indecision, sexual greed among other reasons would make a girl cheat on you regardless of the intensity of love you both share. On the flip side, a girl may not cheat on you if she is contented, sexually rigid, has low libido, does not enjoy sex or she's a virgin. BigDan69:The same issue I am having or should I say, used to have. This babe is good and homely but when it comes to intellectual discourse, it's a dead end for her. There's nothing tangible to converse about If it's not marriage and family talks. Celebrity gist is even out of it because she's quite conservative.Few months ago, I took it up and told her straight to her face, "I'm tired of these boring recycled talks". She felt bad but promise to work on herself. She's on her 5th book already and asking for more. She now read news and have become more observant. Of course, she's not yet there but the efforts are worthwhile and encouraging. I read about astronomy, religion, arts (poems and literature), history, local and international politics, human nature et al. And I post them on status atimes, but my friends online consider me "weird and boring". |

AngelicDamsel:Intelligence is relative. However, I strongly doubt the OP is referring to "book smart" girls. I have met some students who are slightly above average but are very resourceful in archaeological, historical and other sociopolitical discourses. Likewise are there First class students who knows next to nothing - asides their Course materials. Intelligence, in this context, is beyond passing with good grades. |

Plus there are avid readers too who sometimes introduce us to new books. We also have movie freaks and a regular poster of Introvert Quotes which we can relate to. Of course, there are not too many active posters but the ones that are, are very engaging. |

Few years ago, it was a Unilag student who was expelled for posting the sorry state of their hostels online. Now this guy has been expelled for "gross misconduct" - a disguised term in a bid to downplay the guy's genuine reminder. The problem is, you won't see the first class students nor the SUG protesting on his behalf. After all, nobody send am. Before you criticise the authority publicly, make sure you have someone at the top in case things go south.
