Sending bunch of texts and calling repeatedly for 20 times or more.. Like the guy you calling could be busy with something important or something bad is going down and they will be thinking you're out there fvcking another lady... And also hugging, kissing in public trying to show everybody this is your man like for fvcks sake shit is annoying asf
In summary, clinginess and Public Display of Affection (PDA)
I don't subscribe to them at all, whether online or otherwise. I have always liked a lowkey and peaceful relationship. Don't bombard me and let's continue to love each other without noise.

Excess talks
I'm not a fan of unnecessary long tales and cheap gossips. I may indulge for a while but will soon burn out. Lol

And your morning today ,will you try doing something different from your normal routine ? Add 2 or three new activities , talk to strangers ..a random acquaintance... Sit outside enjoy the fresh free air .... make observations of these new events and activities and see your self feel elated and somewhat accomplished, remember even drinking water is a win!!!
I'd probably have my regular routines. Being a student, I could barely introduce a new hobby to my "normal" activities. But then, even drinking water is a win.

My concern is how the authorities caught them? how did they know about all these if they weren't sold out by a snitch? most of them are pretty clean jobs that'd have been almost impossible to discover.

FamilyRe: Why Have Guys Now Adopted The Pattern Of Impregnanting A Lady Before The Wedding by Epositive(m): 10:53am On Sep 03, 2022
1. To confirm the fertility status of both parties.
2. To leverage for less expensive wedding.
3. To ascertain the lady's interest in the relationship.
4. To mount pressure on the in-laws for consent on the union.
5. And so on.

You can write 4.0 if you are persistent and improving. I hope that wasn't you at your best though, otherwise, I'd recommend that you pursue 3.5 atleast to get Second Class Upper.

Still it doesn't justify the expensive fees non locals pay. Let's say indegenes pay 200k as fees non indigene will pay 250 to 300k. Is that fair?
It's not fair but we have federal institutions that level tuition payment for all and sundry. I understand your point all the same. Think of it that original tuition fees is 250k or 300k but indigenes get to enjoy the benefits of belonging to that state by paying lesser.

Like I said earlier, it helps to promote higher learning among the indigenes. It's called State Universities for a reason.
CultureRe: Institutional Indigenous Discrimination by Epositive(m): 7:27pm On Aug 20, 2022
Why is "state of origin" still included in our CV?

And yes, tribal bigotry is high in state universities but I learnt the purpose for the creation of these schools is to serve/encourage the locals. Hence, why the indigenes have larger percentage of entry compared to non-indigenes.

Very true , in as much as I am pro Peter Obi , Tinubu's mind is exceptional, his revenue drive was outrageously impressive and strategic. He laid the foundation for LIRS and digitised the IGR system of the state. If only he were not an unrepentant tribalsitic individual like all his supporters.

Peter Obi will be the next president of Nigeria next year because we need to move forward not backwards
You are pro-Peter Obi but you signature promotes Atiku.

If you want to improve your welfarism, please do so, but don't hold innocent students at ransom.

What little you ask?

Have you ever heard of TETFUND?
I'm a student. You mentioned the little that FG provided, and I asked what little?

perhaps, you'd said that the doctors also held the patients on ransom when they went on strike.

Good thing you acknowledged that their salaries will be paid regardless. While you talk about students resuming regardless of government funding, you should also worry about the consequential sub-standard learning they will be subjected to.

Your anger/concern is misdirected.
EducationRe: ASUU Is Defintely One Of The Problems We Have In Nigeria by Epositive(m): 8:33am On Aug 20, 2022
Secondly:
Story.

ASUU is using you the student as a bargaining chip.

It's sad that you don't even know this.

The fact that ASUU can go on strike for months because they know that there is no consequences and their salaries will still be paid in full is a direct pointer to this.

They don't care at all about how much time the student is wasting during all those strikes. To them, the students are just like some sort of collateral damage.

What is the quality of the Nigerian graduate in the past 15 years or so?

I know you might be tempted to say that is the reason why ASUU is fighting but are you aware that anybody who wants to start a booming business but is still waiting for the right conditions to met before they can start the business might never start the business at the end of the day?

What am I trying to say?

Go and ask ASUU what they have done with the "little" they were provided with by the Federal Government in the past.
What "little"? do quantify the little they are provided with.

You want to compare graduates of 15 years ago to recent graduates? Some jokes write themselves.

And if improving the welfarism of the staff is tantamount to using the students as bargaining chips in your books, then you don't know what the whole situation is all about.
EducationRe: Define An 'intelligent' Conversation. by Epositive(m): 6:21am On Aug 20, 2022
Intelligent conversations could range from wide varieties of topics. I mean, If you are highly opinionated on topics such as global politics, philosophy, wildlife, astronomy, business and the likes, it shows you are built for intellectual discourses.

1. Yeah, as long as it transcends boring romantic and repeated family tales.
2. If you are a sapiosexual, intelligent conversation will always soothe your soul and that could liven your mood thereby boosting productivity.
3. Sure.
4. Sure.

It often play out prior to the marriage. Once the lady sticks to the husband regardless, the two men will find a common ground of compromise.

I think it's due to the fact the fight between the two men is based on what's best for the girl, while the fight between the two women is based on what's best for themselves - to control the man.
EducationRe: ASUU Is Defintely One Of The Problems We Have In Nigeria by Epositive(m): 5:57am On Aug 20, 2022
Secondly:
Exactly.

But I think ASUU is even more useless now.
What have we, the students done to curb this menace?

I tend to think there's a conspiracy by the government to cripple the intellectual strength of this country - hence, the little regards for higher education. ASUU may be useless but the students leaders are more useless. We the students are the major enablers, no cap. We don't even how great we are losing. Many students are even happy to be home. How sad!

Should I start with the fact many jobs, particularly civil service having limited age entrance (26/27), or that you can't serve at 30, wasted house rents, life goals at a pause because most of us students want wrap up academics before be venturing into other things. Melo melo?

By now, I expected us, as reasonable students to organise protests to either the government's office or the ministry of education. Imagine 'one million march protest" to the ministry of house; insisting that the private universities be shut down too because that's where most of these politicians' children are. This is the reason why they can't be bothered. I tell you that in 2 days, this issue will be resolved. But like I said earlier, our students leaders are useless.

As long as government officials are absolved of the consequences of their irrational inactions, this strike will continue to linger. For their children who's advantaged to start school at early age and enrolling into a private University, 4 years is 4 years and upon graduation, they are fixed in reputable offices while we wail as age won't be on our side even though the connection comes.

A time will come where what befell public secondary schools will befall public universities; total irrelevance in the grand scheme of things. Our eyes go open that time.

ASUU is the standing hope for the students, Incase you don't know.

Natural ingenuity is a major factor in academics. If you are bright, like, you can easily read and retain information, you will definitely pass - regardless of your affluence and doings with girls.

I get some dedicated friends wey no dey do well. Just lectures and fellowships. No girlfriend, they no dey take alcohol, infact, some no dey even watch ball. Yet, they are average at best. I really feel for them.

Islandlady:
YES, I strongly believe that as a child, if your parents have provided for you, trained and invested in you to become a better person in the nearest future!

It is the law of nature and humanity that makes children to take care of their parents not by force toh!

It is necessary to repatriate this good deeds back to them as they grow old and fragile!

To crown it all, May we have kind and compassionate children, not the heartless ones!
yes, and parents should strive to save up against old age. Not every child is compassionate. Besides, the growing trend of individualism among this generation coupled with the bad state of our economy are limiting the child-to-parent expected repatriation.
FamilyRe: Do Children Owe Their Parents Repatriation? by Epositive(m): 1:06pm On Aug 16, 2022
If you look around, you will realise that not every child cares for their parents, whether with cash favours or sheer compassion. And this inhumane act is regardless of parent's good contribution to that child's upbringing.

Personally, I am of the opinion that a child should strive to take care of his/her parents in his/her own capacity, particularly if they have done the same for you in your formative years. After all, ain't we suppose to care for those we love?
