Romance / Re: Should I Stop Hangout With My Friends If I Have More Money Than Them? by Epositive(m): 7:46am On Sep 09 |
Asides the class category, have you observed the academic category too since you’re studying? Hobbies? There are a lot of interesting things you can get from friends, regardless of their financial status. Besides, campus is wide and wild so you might be missing a lot if money is your major criterion for friendship. |
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Epositive(m): 11:54am On Sep 06 |
Hi guys, is it possible to retrieve files from a locked phone? I got my Redmi Note 11pro 2 years ago. (I even shared it here) I entered the second space and got locked out. I’ve always entered the second space with fingerprint. My phone was off so I decided to charge only to remain locked out in the second space. I can’t unlock with fingerprint because it’s on Lock Screen. And unfortunately, second space passcode cannot be the same with first space’s. I’ve tried all the codes but all to no avail. Is there a way I could at least retrieve the files if eventually the phone will be reset. I have not backed up my files recently. 😒

I was still telling my friends last week that we have two times more rain (if not more ) last year than this year. I mean look at August, it's only rained once this month in my area. A supposed month for daily rainfall. 22 Likes 4 Shares |

Romance / Re: Why Do Nigerians Delay To Send Cash After Agreeing And Able To Send It Soonest by Epositive(m): 10:09am On Jul 10 |
I can resonate with your point. Most times, it stems from afterthought of other plans for the money. You're a just a mere disturbance, sorry. If you're a constant giver, just work, pray and hope your "giver doesn't end up lacking" because I kid you not, you will hate yourself and almost regret your giving days. I'm speaking from experience. Most people are used to receiving and won't reciprocate your kind gesture if they picture you as the 'bigger man'. Lol. Carry out an experiment; gently request an amount of money from those that constantly bill you and watch their feedbacks. Most of them will not chat you again. It's a win-win for you. 🙂 6 Likes 1 Share |
Business / Re: One Month Gone, NDIC Yet To Pay Depositors Of Heritage Bank by Epositive(m): 10:26am On Jul 07 |
sonssyo:I don't bank with them. Just responding to the post. Especially for the fact I use fintechs (Opay and co) for my daily transactions and they (NDIC) also back them. If I can't trust their proactiveness with Heritage Bank, then there will be problem should the fintechs pack up. |

NDIC should be proactive in regards to this matter. In some rural areas, this was the only bank available and people's life savings are literally there. Updates should be given as to progress and processes so people can know their fate. 1 Like |

I feel you. I have been there. I have a biblical name (a prophet name) which even worsen my case then. You can tell them you attend white garment or a Jehovah's witness at least. In my own case, I told them I was a C & S member which was true anyways so they chilled - in the long run. Stop going and simply tell the guy not to bother anymore. I'm currently a serving corp member who even lived in NCCF (Christian Corper's lodge) for my first few days till I rented my own place. Sometimes, I attend the choir concerts with my friends and all. No big deal. They just feel I'm a nonchalant Christian. 1 Like |

OZIOGU1: When I was in KSU Anyigba, it wasn’t uncommon for Igalas to rub the “na we get Kogi” mantra on our body especially we the ebiras. Being an Akure born and bred, I didn’t know that the tribalism runs that deep. Like WTF! 🤨 1 Like |

Babe do come through for me when I'm low on finances. The most notable one was in my finals when I dived into project writing for my mates. What sapa cannot inspire does not exist On the course of the job, my phone broke and the screen off. Heck, I was so "po" that I can't even afford the "or" so getting a new phone wasn't an option. I already collected the biggest part of the money to fund school fees and rent so I can't even ask for balance until I finish their work. They wan chop me for class so tey I come dey miss class She gave me her android phone to use for 2 months. I mean, in exchange with my small phone that I should not worry. I was awed. She sacrificed her social media life and friends' side talks for two months so I can excel in my business. During that period, I will check for her classes in department groups to inform her. I no fit forget. I became the talk of the department because olofofo course mates-turned-clients saw her pic on the phone's screen whenever they come to collect their corrected copies. Should I mention that she's pretty to cap her virtues. 1 Like |

Jman06: You are right to some extent, though some guys will sweet talk her till she succumbs - with shikini money to flex by the side. Some even went as far as having introduction ceremony and started misbehaving after childbirth. In fact, in Akure here, once a lady fails jamb more than once, expect pregnancy from her soonest. It’s like a pandemic. 1 Like 1 Share |
