Smartguyboy:We are still saying the same thing my bro. |
Smartguyboy:You intended to counter me but ended up agreeing with me. ![]() |
I've never posted myself online and I have all the social media accounts. So, babe self no fit bring am up ![]() |
People often think it's the money spent on a girl that hurts the guy after horrible breakup but it's usually not the case. It's the commitment; the submission of your heart to a lady, the "happily ever after" projections and the likes that break the man after breakup. You no spend reach sugar daddies and some side dudes na. ![]() |
I've been going through old threads to find wisdom these days. Nigeria was still better when Oga Hahn created this thread. ![]() |
Samuelnze:Most of them use their smartphones for learning during chats only, to correct their spellings and make suggestions. |
Samuelnze:You are going too far with "meaningful Convo". Engage them on related topics to their course of study, then you will be shocked. What have you really learned? I mean, even Facebook posts will give you migraine. Graduates that still can't differentiate between "their" and "there", "being" and "been", "I'm" and "Am" etc. |

ettaetta:This advice is underrated. That's why I avoid obsessive, aggressive and clingy girls as much as I can. Once I sense any of the mentioned traits, I run as far as my legs can carry me. You won't even see my shadow. This is a typical case of "kaka k'eku ma je sese, afi shawa danu"., (If I can't have you, nobody else will). |
Nice location and color combo. Zino did justice to his verse. ![]() |
Usually, the olofofo adugbos (gossips) have a shop just right at the front of the house or down the street where they sell worobos (provisions) so they tend to see everything happening around the area. There's no secrets hidden from them. ![]() |
Nazgul:It's myth. Tenants build their own houses and moved there, usually a new site. Some gets new vehicle or upgraded job. |
How about sweeping roster fight? Where a particular person deliberately omit her neighbor's territory while sweeping due to earlier feud. Lol If your compound is one of the gathering centers in the street, you go witness fights tire. We once lived in a compound where most of the children in the streets like to come because of the space outside for football. Omoh Also, there's usually a calm and educated spinster. You rarely see them during the day. They are usually teachers or nurses. |
emmaodet: it's the truth o. How far with the palm oil processing bro?it's a lucrative venture, though poorly managed. The manager who took me there resigned after a year because he couldn't get along with the uneducated laborers who have been there long before him. Some of them literally live on the farm. He was trying to reduce the "chuachua" and propose bigger ideas so it became issue. I was there for just a semester but I must say, farming enterprise requires a strong hand to manage. There are many people ready to run you down in the name of "na where man dey work, na there e dey chop". Why are your farms no longer running? |
I feel you. Life is hard. Life is harder when you don't have foundational support. But you know the hardest part? Nobody cares! The earlier you accept this, the better for you. Yes, if you commit suicide today, the loss is on you. While it's natural to feel enraged and downcast about life situation, the best way to get out of a sad place is "getting out", the process. There are students working around you. Infact, when sapa wanted to blind me , it ironically opened my mind that I discovered there are many students working around and I had a lot of jobs to pick from. Solar installation, photography, barbing, bet9ja attendant/cashier, oil palm production to mention but a few but I learned photography while working the oil palm factory on weekends. I even wrote projects for about 10 of my mates in final year. I nearly died. But then, money must be made. Finish second semester. Get engaged. Manna don dey finish from heaven. You're in a state university, move close to the indigenous students that are working. They have the connects. The pay will go a long way. I'm talking from experience. If you want to keep whining, there are a lot of Nairaland empty pages to exhaust. ![]() |

ComputerOperato:It was a response to " some farms can be very sweet to plough" sarcasm though ![]() Of course, many of us don't joke with our belly. 😀 |
ComputerOperato:You, my good sir, must be a great farmer. ![]() |
ComputerOperato:At bolded, you are correct. When I was learning photography in school, it was very easy to get along with girls because they always come in droves. If you are skillful at it, girls will hit on you big time. ![]() |
I'm an introvert. There are girls that prefer quiet guys, especially if you're smart. Always go out with your extroverted friends but be yourself while at it. I mean, maintain your lane and chip in once in a while. From personal experience, there are girls who really fancy shy and awkward guys. Perhaps, you have not been picking hints from girls who like you. |
