If you want change, go and meet your senators and house of reps members to pass a bill that adjusts that part of the constitution. Focus on the cause of the problem and not the symptoms of the problem. Tinubu appointing INEC chair is a symptom. The main cause of the problem is the constitution itself which should be where your energy and that of others with similar opinions should be directed.

When previous presidents were appointing, where was this energy? Go and change the constitution if you're not happy with the president appointing INEC chairman. Once something does not favor you, crying starts.

Tinubu is the president and it is his constitutional duty to recommend a chairman for INEC just like it has been with previous presidents. I don't understand why it's suddenly an issue now.

There's insecurity everywhere, what exactly are they parading? A country with an active military is having insecurity issues but the same military has energy for a ceremonial parade, giving the right energy to the wrong things. Parade is a luxury, ending insecurity is a necessity.
