akinsto4ever:Puff adder is not paramole... Boomslang is paramole. Puff adder is monamona. |
This idea of turning judges on people's affairs is starting to get really annoying. The mischievous poster definitely cut off a part of the picture. It's obvious someone on the bride's side was showing her something on the phone which is the reason she leaned towards that side. You can clearly see her mouth moving. It's crazy how y'all jobless folks see the need to have an opinion on everyone's personal issues. GET A LIFE!!! |
I don't know much about photography but I think lighting, shadows and angles are the most important aspects of photography. The dark shadow on the top part is due to the direction of lighting. I'm guessing you used the phone flash only, the dark parts are creases and curves on the cap that the flash cast a shadow on. Try to fill up the cap with rags or something to make it puffy and smooth, then put it outside under natural light and snap it from a diagonally upwards position. I believe that should give it a better result. |
This writeup and the comments there are just plain stupid and mischievous. All these things are only an issue on social media, Twitter and nairaland specifically. Nobody cares in the real world. I never grew up seeing anyone as "tainted blood", that sounds stupid. Just because some idiots from various tribes decide to play politics with ethnicity does not mean that's how all members of the ethnicity sees the topic. Y'all can keep selectively shining the spotlight on irrelevances hoping it'll become widely accepted fact for the whole tribe, that's your business. When the chicken comes home to roost with the lies, unwarranted generalizations and race baiting, I hope everyone will be adequately ready for it. It's all fun and games till the real consequences start popping up. |
EreluRoz:Should he have been arrested in the first place? Is defamation a criminal offense? I hope you remember this when it happens to someone close to you. |
Awon werey! Always eager to milk the tragedy of others. |
Lol... Royalties as proof of originality is just plain dumb. Did Nigeria or even African authors and artists know the meaning of royalties as at then? The publishing company probably duped him out of the whole thing. Sad. |
Wait... Supreme Court of which country? How does the judgement affect Nigeria? This is just dumb. |
Lol... |
You want to learn bike riding and you didn't start with the regular commercial bikes... Issokay. |
Lol |
WhiteIverson:Wait... So if someone lists some 'GenZ' slangs and writes 'boomers won't understand...' are oldies supposed to start vexing? Y'all have some really weird ways of getting offended. Some group of people are bonding over shared experiences that another set of people certainly won't understand, what's the big deal? Why the anger? |
"Top monarch"... Sensational journalism. I live in Osun State and I don't even think I've heard of that town before. |
Well... I guess we need to ask all the pupils and teachers who have been killed from time immemorial in the USA by school shooters why the "golden dome" chose not to protect them. |
Is this depreciation or appreciation of the naira? This article is confusing. |
#canadianbaby... Was that necessary though? |
Voting in a skill-based competition... Everything has turned to an avenue to fleece gullible people of their funds. |
Lol... I refuse to see your perspective until you bring a link that details everything that led up to that point. You don't know if that's what those ones even requested for. You're here crying more than the bereaved. Give a more detailed info of what went down and stop using pictures and bias writeups to rile up people's emotions and sentiments for your selfish political gains, or the political gains of your paymasters. It makes you come across as very unintelligent. |
Lol... They saw tomorrow. So many retards. Please ask them if it's all rosy over there for them. This crazy defeatist mentality ain't doing y'all any good. No country in the world is doing much better at the moment, forget all the nonsense you're imagining in your head. Maybe ask them for some assistance and hear their response. Once a country is filled with lazy entitled b*tches that can't take any responsibility, statements like the OP's is bound to always pop up. People in the same Naija are building houses and buying new rides daily without being in government or doing crime but of course, let the lazy doomsday prophets keep at it. |
Lol... |
ivolt:I'm not sure I understand what you want to achieve with your questions and the "scenarios" you're painting, but there's a difference between being security conscious and just being an absolute douche because some idiots have painted some worst case scenarios. So I grew up hearing weed smokers are touts and criminals, should I start running when I see any weed smoker? Where's the common sense in that? If you can't use your discretion and give every situation a blanket reaction, then there's something wrong somewhere with such person. You keep trying to justify this rubbish, but have you considered the harm it brings to the very fabric of human relationships and co-habitation especially in a country whose unity is being held together by a very thin thread? What if the person that wants to use your phone has a real emergency? Will you watch people suffer or possibly die due to your paranoia? I'm sure you'll invent ways to justify such heartless and unwarranted reaction. Nigeria is in the deep mess it's in today due to the government's knee-jerk reaction to every problem. Like a yoruba adage says, "cutting off the head is not the solution to a headache". I'm not disputing the fact that such situations may occur but the solution is not to outrightly reject a person because you read of something online. The person I quoted first said he eventually got someone to allow him use their phone but they insisted he put the phone on speaker, now that's a solution right there rather than the paranoid "not my concern" stance you people keep suggesting. This is how people get falsely accused in public and would have been lynched before people discover it's due to the paranoia of the person that raised the alarm. Unfortunately, the harm is done already by then. |
Tokskob2008:You just proved my point. Everyone has been told such stories and became fearful in a situation that didn't even warrant it. There's no reason for their action other than they were told this, or they heard that, or someone said this and that. |
This is unnecessary fear mongering. |
Sonnobax15:It's people like you with lack of basic understanding of how things work that push people into unemployment abyss. If everyone had the drive and ability to be self-employed, what do you think the economy would be like? |
Efficient1:I think most designers including myself can work remotely if thats an option. |
Justifications like this is just irritating. Those nations where you have branches, don't they have other indigenous churches there? Why spread your wings so far and start unnecessary justification when there are other churches that exist in those places? Of course, every other church is inferior. Or is it a case of the church having a need to expand it's "business" for profit purposes? I really don't care if any pastor owns 50 jets, your business. My problem is trying to justify it. You won't need a reason to justify it if you thought for a second that you were doing the right thing. |
You always know where to dig out all these stories to support your biase. If it was the other way round and a believer lost the battle even after seeking the face of the Lord constantly, you'll probably say he lacked faith. You won't say God failed him, you'll blame him. Double standards and hypocrisy. Anything to help you sleep at night. |
redcliff: ![]() We all saw how it turned out. |
A contest or competition where the winner is determined by public votes is a NO No for me. You don't get the best, you get the most popular. |
I see a whole lot of ignorant comments here talking about ai this and that. AI is a thing, but it's pretty easy to tell the difference between real digital art and ai generated art if you have any design knowlege. One was talking about codes blah blah blah. Lol. AI will give you vector art, but the lines won't be clean. His lines are clean and you guys are mistaking pixelating lines with ai generated lines. Depending on the software being used, lines can be pixelated when the image is zoomed into or scaled upwards. That wouldn't have been the case if he used a vector based software. |
