Biochemistry is the bedrock of Pharmacy and Medicine. To get good job placements with a degree in BCH, 1. Study well and excel (it is not he that read pass that pass pass,Lol) 2. Be able to explain the concepts you have learnt on the course 3. Be able to sell yourself 4. Prepare for an exam/interview as thoroughly as practicable. 5. Add value to yourself however possible .Thank God for the internet. 6. Get a higher degree 7. Become your own boss(manufacturing on a small scale) In all, bear in mind that competition is fierce in the job market and good companies go only for the best. Many Biochemists work in breweries, pharmaceuticals(Emzor, GSK), FMCG companies(Unilever, Reckitt Benkiser, PZ, P&G),etc. I am a brewer and I studied Biochemistry. |
Nice. Post acknowledged by all viewers. Thanks |
Ariaria market is simply terrible especially when it rains. Water levels could reach beyond one's laps. Terrible for a market of great economic importance in the 'life' of that town. |
Thanks Efe (my namesake). I guess there should be a relevant office that can offer such information. But it is easier for me to read other people's experiences than seek such an office (my work schedule is usually tight). |
@ obicentlis, Many thanks. I will do a search on these schools and decide. Once ,I was out on a day it rained heavily, the area beside Ekenna GRA was really flooded with water entering people's houses and shops. It was pathetic. |
@ poster While not take a break from him? Let your family know. This will keep him in check. He will come over to your parents' explaining himself. Be easy on yourself. He will sign to an agreement upon which you could act if he ATTEMPTS to hurt you ever again. Love practically. Loving a child doesn't mean you won't discipline him/her. Loving your husband doesn't mean he should have you no matter his attitude. You are priceless He won't condone such from a future son-in-law Your life is important to God. Marriage is a 2-way street: not ENTIRELY your fault. Peace!! |
Many thanks @ breadplanet. |
Thanks a lot. I will check up on the area ASAP. More contributions are welcome. An excellent nursery/primary school is also needed for my kids. Any referrals? And the reason(s) for their choice will be appreciated. |
Please can Nairalanders familiar with Aba advise on areas that are not prone to flooding in Aba? I was recently posted to Aba to work and am on a lookout for a place to rent. All positive inputs are welcome and highly appreciated in advance. |
Korrection: I know say na this kind one all the girls dey like..(He young lazy ones oh.I bet with a successful wife who contributes much to the home front(financially) you won't bother about such an arrangement(not one bit) |
PointB: Another black day in Nigeria's checkered history! May those who did this and their children never have peace in their lives. And even in their deaths. |
Ucheosefoh: Mine is trust I cant trust any gal againWhy limit yourself? |
What was(were) the consequence(s)? What lesson(s) did you learn? What advice would you offer to a young employee in this era of chronic joblessness? |
The comments here are really practical and enlightening. A good marriage improves our godliness. |
I have learnt to not try to change my spouse but to change myself if I really desire a change. You are welcome to share yours. Only serious contributions needed please. |
@op ,All the reasonable advice from here are acknowledged. In as much as you are being you, try being the good you...just treat everyone as you would love to be treated. Then you will have your dreams come true |
@ all contributions carefully noted. Thank you. @largie your idea is fantastic. I'll try it. Thanks |
@kelz88 Oh, I smack him sometimes but talk most of the time and would not want him avoiding his mother. @ronkebp well, constant disobedience annoys. Doesn't it? |
@MoUTD Thank you. @kelz88 I do take away his favourites at such times. Imagine when i tell him "No more bananas for you" and he replies with " I don't need them". How do i enforce discipline without being mean? @oyinmama Of course, he's my child. @zitel I'll try to be much more patient than i am. But I don't want a spoilt child. NO! |
How can I feel good about a child that constantly misbehaves and annoys me? He is a boy and will turn 4 in August this year. Have any experiences that will be of help? Only serious minded contributions are needed please. Thanks all. |
Happy birthday sir. Many more years ahead. |
Thanks 4 that compliment. It fires my desire to leave the overcrowded bottom for the top where only exceptional minds are. |
