I bought the Redmi Note 12 device, used it for about 2 months now. You should read this short review before purchasing the device.

I bought the 8GB Ram and 128GB ROM model.

Here are the problems I'm having with the phone;

Contact Syncing takes time

Syncing contacts from Google takes time. I use the phone for business so I save about 50 contacts per day.

If I save a contact on my phone, the number appears unsaved on WhatsApp. It takes about 3-6 hours for the contacts to sync properly.

Battery life

The battery life is not so great. I have used an Infinix device twice, my Infinix battery lasts more than the Redmi.

I need to charge my device like twice a day.

Real Football lags

I use the device to play Real Football but it lags/cracks while playing. This is the first time I've experienced such.

The Real Football is the only app that hangs or cracks on the device.

Wireless Microphone not working

I bought a K35 wireless Microphone, it did not work on the device but it worked on another device.

More pricey

I got the device for ₦135,000 while an Infinix Hot 30 with 16GB Ram and 128GB ROM is ₦94,000.

What I like about the device

The camera quality is fair.

Fewer ads. Infinix and adverts are like 5 and 6.

This is my first Xiaomi device. I feel they reduced their quality too much while trying to fit into the Nigerian market.

You must have brought a fake note 12. Am currently using a Redmi note 12, 8/128 as yours. I have no witness any of the issues you raised. It's over two months I have been using it.
I am a heavy user, just one charge takes me all through the day

I play PubG seamlessly unlike when I was using infinix with lots of lag.... This phone has never lag nor freezes.
My contact synchronization works perfectly well with my Gmail n WhatsApp.
The b3 life is great, with the 33w charger, takes about an hour and 10mins to get full from one percent.

It also works perfectly well with my wireless microphone for my video shoots.

It's very bright, 50mp. I went for it mostly because of the processor, Ram and graphics. But you will surely love the camera if pictures is yr need

I have been using RN12 for over two months now, don't be fooled by the price, it's far better than the RN11, I transitioned from RN11 to 12. My spec is 8/128. Go for it, it's worth it. Can't really say of the Samsung because am yet to use it

The RN12 was specifically made for Nigerian market that's why it's cheaper because it was launched here

the camera is not bad... It boils down to the number of mega pisel... So just make a comperisom n choose the one that fit your needs... Redmi will be on a cheaper side

120k, while 10s is 130, 10pro is 154k. doint waste your money to buy 10a or 10c they are low range redmi... The others are midrange and worth your cash

Actually, I noticed Zenith Bank's services have been kind of challenged in recent times. It takes longer to receive alerts. Some days, I can't even log into the app. Two days ago, I tried to make a transfer. It went through then bounced. I just hope the issue is with the bank.

Yeah, you are right......I just believe it is a bank issue since it's happening to me for the first time ....I was relieved when you said you also bank with Zenith.....I doubt if any zenith customer have gotten theirs as well.

I have sent them message through the portal. I taught I was the only one. Since we are both using zenith bank.....maybe it's from our bank.....let's hope the money starts to reflect from tomorrow. Keep me updated, I will do the same

There is this girl I met in Lagos she help me find a house in Lagos from there we started dating.

I Asked her to marry me and get pregnant for me. Later she got pregnant for me.

My people discouraged me and said I should thank God for revealing this early.
That's how I cancelled the church wedding.

We did the court marriage, without my parents consent cuz it didn't come from my heart, her junior brother is the one that sighn for me in the court

From the legal angle, you can approach any court of jurisdiction or the same court you did the wedding and ask for a cancellation of marriage based on false pretense. Mind you, not divorce, but dis-solution of the Union base on d fact that your partner lied/cover up tins to you while you just found out. Court will dissolve the marriage without giving her any dime.

You will still need to input your BVN and bank details after PV.
You will notice that d portal will change from download to Activate account if you pass d PV. Tho some of use re still witnessing Ntw issues from d site so even we you input yr BVN n account details to download d PPA, it does says "too many requests, try again in two mins".
With d issue of invalid BVN and no account numb on d dashboard, even after passing d PV, I emailed dem, dey said it should be left that way, wen ntw stabilize we can successfully add our BVN n account number to download PPA. Also make sure yr DoB is correct with yr BVN DoB b4 you do your PV, because you won't be able to change it once you pass your PV
