Romance › Re: I Need Your Help And Advice In My Relationship. by EriMma1:
Mr boy abi na man, that girl doesn't love you one bit. Even the tone of her message is very dry and without emotions showing she cares less and is not bothered how you feel about her cheating games. It seems you've been the only one committed to the relationship all along cos the love seems one-sided while she's just with you because of what she's getting from the relationship. You better snap out of that mumu feelings you have for her or get the biggest shock of your Life.

Why would a girl whos in a functional relationship be going to a guys house? I don't get it. It simply shows You're non existent in her love life hence the need to still be testing the waters. Even from the tone of her reply, one could tell, and you still don't get it?

Giving excuses that the mother is having BP is why you can't leave the girl is plain dumb and lame because if care is not taken, na you go come end up with that BP. The mother doesn't really have your interest at heart. She's begging because of what she too is gaining from the relationship since you don turn father Christmas give them. She knows if you leave her daughter, resources will be withdrawn from her too and that, she doesn't want to happen. So be wise.

My advice. Just cut all communications with her. Don't even try to call or accuse her of anything again!. Block her on all mediums she can reach you and move on. I know this may sound too difficult ( judging from the way you love her) and that spirit of competition and not wanting to lose to the other guy might set in, making you want to fight to get her back just to feel cool about yourself at the end of the day but let me tell you, if you don't let go now, you'll end up regretting in the future and may end up being the one getting kicked out by her after taking her abroad cos she's not the loyal type from all indications.

She's not the type you can leave and travel or even go to work if you eventually marry her. This type will be going to neighbors house to cut show and won't feel remorse or even bother to apologize because she knows she has you by the balls. Then it will be too late to do anything. Na there your own BP go come start.

Better safe than sorry.

Romance › Re: Isoko Man Leaves A Beautiful Young Lady Heartbroken And In Tears by EriMma1:
She's crying bitterly because she allowed herself to be used. I don't know when these girls will receive sense.

Keep a pure relationship devoid of sex so if anything happens no body looses and you won't feel the heartbreak so much; but no they won't listen. They will allow the guy to use them like rag. What is left again after he has seen everything? Na to dump you remain now.

I have no pity for such mumu because if another guy comes her way again, she will still open her legs.

Some of you are married to your enemies.
Oh.... Now the tables are turned on you men, it has suddenly become a case of being "married to ones enemy"?. But when it's the woman complaining, you men will be shouting "liability" up and down. Abeg get a grip on yourselves dear men and learn to take what you dish out to others.

Abeg drop this your lazy thoughts. So he should go and look for another woman Instead of getting his ass up and going in search of a job to solve the problem at hand, Right?
Is it the new girl that will now accept a lazy man? Lame.

Buy it for your self defense. It doesn't kill. It will only demobilize your opponent for you to get security involved.

The only problem is that the person would be released soon by the same police to finish off the mission after giving money.
God forbid I encounter such. It's not going to a direct encounter. Its to just separate two Fighting or disarm a stubborn person and you'll do in a way nobody will see or suspect you're the one. Maybe from your window, you see someone being overpowered, it can come in handy.

I'm not envisaging a personal or direct attack. I reject it. Just to use it to control a chaotic situation as a mini security officer 😛😜😛
Family › Re: What Common Fears Have You Overcome Lately ? by EriMma1:
Fears of not having physical cash on me.
Before the redesigned Naira note policy that brought about cash crunch, I used to fear not having enough physical cash on me cos I felt I would always need it and hated to be cash-trapped or stranded for any reason. So I would always set a mental reminder that tonight i must visit the ATM or POS and if I don't succeed you'll see me sweating and feeling so uncomfortable. Like I never let it happen in short.

Now, During the cash crunch saga, where I would be without cash for days and only do online transactions, the fears and anxiety of not having physical cash dropped because it was a hopeless situation and I didn't have a choice than to adjust to the new normal and seeing that I didn't die from anxiety and the whole experience, it has made me stronger and afterwards been able to conquer that fear. Now I could go for days and not fret about not having cash.

That's all. Every other fears have been conquered in Christ since I rededicated my life to God a long time ago.

Family › Re: Should She Starve Him Because He's Not Providing? by EriMma1:
I can't blame her for her actions because she's the one wearing the shoes and knows where it pinches. It is natural for one to feel cheated in a relationship where she's the only one carrying all the burden and all the man does is knack, eat and sleep. Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop. No naau.. she'll get fed up one day.
Now, this is the point I was trying to make in a post sometimes last week where I said a man should appreciate the wife with cash gifts from time to time and not just be there to always knack until her bolt and knots fall off but many came attacking my comment and calling me all sorts of names. Now the same thing is happening here.

Look, whether we like it or not, most of the things I cite here about marriages are actually the reality of many marriages. Forget people coming here to act like they are angels and would handle it any differently. Lies!

We are human beings and it's only natural for us to react somewhat "irrational" (according to people) when the situation is not palatable or conducive.

Why will an able bodied man be parambulating year in year out and not looking for ways to get a job to take care of his family? Even if you can't get your dream job at the moment, look for any available one and be doing first pending when the dream job comes. This is not the time to be forming "a whole me" look for Keke maruwa and drive and feed your family. Its not about being posh it's about survival nowadays.

There are warehouse jobs in town where they need people every now and then. And recently they needed a driver with 120k pay but some guys will say over their dead body will they do driving job... Shooo.. no be to put food for table? We tried to link a man (who sent his family to the village for over 10 years now due to lack of sustainable job and not being able to pay rent again.) to the job, he said he doesnt have a driving license. Quite understandable though but I asked my sister, why can't he go there and beg the white man whether dem go at least give him money to do one cos I really wanted the man to get that job... That's by the way though. This place I'm talking about, jobs come out every now and then. It's at Munshin. Just walk in there and tell them you need a job. The least they pay is 65k and you choose how you want to be paid. Either weekly or monthly.

My advice to every young and married man out there, go and learn a skill especially driving. If white collar job no enter, use your skills in the meantime and don't sit and be complaining how your wife starved you and refused to pay your childrens school fees.

Me wey be woman gan. Wen I no see my dream job, I worked as a tea girl just to survive till ground level. How much more a man. The same men that will say they can't marry a liability that will not bring anything to the table are now looking for pity party everyday on this same nairaland wey dem dey sing am like national anthem. Na wa o!

Men go and work and take care of your family!

you need to be in closer contact if you’re using a taser, pepper spray is in gas form, but taser needs body contact to work
No o.. I've seen tasers used to hit and pull down a target from a far distance. I read a lot about it in most of Sherlock's story books way back where cops used it on fleeing criminals. So of course it can be used from a distance.

it’s totally legal but your choice of taser may not be a good fit, you need it to have enough electricity to destabilize an attacker
What do you mean by my choice? Oh.. You mean the lipstick design? Ok. Just I don't like the bulky ones that look like actual gun and I want something with a stronger and higher voltage.

Thanks.

Mmm .. that pepper spray one needs to be at close range to be able to hit the target and I don't even pray to come in close contact with a target.

l still prefer the taser.

Don't know about Nigeria but I know you can own a taser easily in the western world since it's not a firearm and doesn't kill..Most ladies use it to protect themselves from sexual or any form of harassment from men.

Personally, I recommend it and I think it's something anyone can own.
I wonder why it's a big deal here. 🤔🤔.

When I said you men should not marry until you have attained a level of financial stability that can sustain you for life, you bashed me and called me a liability.

I'll continue to say it. No matter how financially independent a woman is, she'll still let the man you carry his financial responsibilities because them no send am message. Make una dey hear word.

By the way, why you didn't you support your friend since his wife chose not to?

The man shouldn't have killed himself. Just simply withdraw the children from private and put them in public school. Na pride finish your friend.
