coputa:Simply put, the less you yearn about yourself, the safer for you. Never reveal your identity on social media. The less said, the better. Jane Austen |
It's a mere OP ED, still nothing to show. Wait a minute, where are the UAE's investors? Has the visa ban on Nigerians been finally lifted now? I remember their gullible supporters spamming NL over the fake news, after their master's jamboree visit to UAE with lots of delegates, wasting millions of USD of the tax payers' money in estacode. |
Only your myopic and gullible supporters who can believe anything will fall for your lies despite the obvious . Government of propaganda. |
Please flag off Nigeria Air first, before you begin to wield sanctions on them, so you'd not add to the Nigeria's economic woes which you created out of foolishness. Think well oo. Nigerians are still missing the Emirates Airlines as we speak. |
Burob:Believe it or not, I don't depend on government. My staff are well taken care of to say the least, despite the govt-induced hardship which makes you cry over hunger. You must emancipate yourself from self denial, suffering and smiling. Tinubu or whoever you believe in will always fail you, except they have a chahge of direction. Na to dey observe from a distance, while you keep feeling the heat. Enough said. Ciao |
Burob:Wetin concern me concern government. I don't depend on them for sustainance for decades now and i don't pray I do. God has been good all along. It's people like you who want to kill and maim over politics. We tried to emancipate you but you chose your ignorant way. Wait a minute, where are the refineries they promised you guys would come on stream by December . ![]() I repeat, oju gbogbo yin maa a jaa. O tię tin ja already. |
Burob:In lagbaja's song. Ojuę a jaaa, shugomu,.ojuę a jaa, gongoshuu, ojuę a jaa. . This just the beginning |
Offpoint1:leadership is our problem. They mismanage everything. With good leadership in place, we can always cope. You'd be shocked by the time you begin to count Awolowo's achievements with cocoa proceeds. Where was oil back then? Today, only tinubu has 3 jets. Awolowo had nothing. Tinubu is such a reckless leader |
I warned my people. We lagosians knew better why we worked for his loss here in Lagos. Jaujau president, bereft of ideas. He's got no leadership charisma. If you are looking for a leading propagandist who has bagged a PhD in it, look no further. Just pick tinubu. Thank God the air we breathe in is given to us by God free of charge, tinubu would have said he's the one providing it. |
Anguldi:Your application won't be rejected if your planned programme or event you wanted to attend is over. Canada will still approve your visa if you qualify for one, anytime they process your application. |
wemzack:Yes,100% . You didn't cause the delay, they did and they know it so, it won't affect the outcome of your visa at all, if you qualify for the visa you applied for |
Hun. Not again. How would they defend this one? In Nigeria today, we hardly hear news about new discoveries, inventions, scientific advancement, creation of enabling environment for businesses to thrive, etc. Thank goodness, we heard of the power plant which came on stram last week, but was initiated and developed by the PDP. One exciting news in a very long time. Now, if its not economic woes, its cry and protest over hunger nationwide, looting of trucks loaded with foodstuffs , looting of warehouses, killings upon killings,.kidnapping of a whole commercial bus...and nobody would come to their rescue as the kidnappers would have a field day. The news wouid make headlines for days, government would promise as usual after which the victims would be left to their fate. How long shall we continue in these mess? |
adamusuleiman1:As you're in doubt I'm not Yoruba then tell me who I am. See, both tribes are guilty of this. I read a lot of comments here on NL and people's reactions to things. It must stop. In fact, we should make it a national issue, if we truly need to progress as a country. Any tribalistic comment should attract a heavy fine even here on NL. Mods must wake up to their responsibility. Imagine my people calling Obasanjo an igbo even forming a fake story of his genealogy cos he supported Obi. Imagine all manners of attack on chief Bode George cos he said Tinubu wasn't the right candidate. He'd simply be laughing at those who put his matter upon their heads last year by now. Ibos and yorubas should stop this practice. Both tribes are to blame. It's not a one-sided coin. Stop thinking those who don't support Tinubu are not yoruba. We didn't vote him in lagos as a majority tribe. Ibos that they're even attacking hardly vote, though last year's turnout was better, maybe cos Obi was involved but they did same during Obj's 2 terms too. Nobody can tell Tinubu's story better than lagosians. We dey here and we see things. Osun is 99% yoruba but he lost there. Are they ibo too?. Even in Ekiti and Ondo he claimed winning, we knew how it all happened but that's past now. Election is over. I weighed GRV over Sanwoolu, even though I didn't like the party the latter belonged, but later supported Sanwoolu. Since I supported Obi, I'm automatically ibo lol. What of the Sanwoolu I supported too? What would you now call.me...a yoruba-ibo? You see now? That's the beauty of democracy. Its a matter of choice which in my candidate opinion, everybody should respect. Both tribes should stop tribalism now! |
Sheggy13:I'm Yoruba, not igbo. Tribalism is a thing of the mind and a menace to one-nigeria that we crave. You see how yorubas and ibos throw Jabs at each other here on NL. It's not a one-sided coin. Both tribes need to have a rethink. Tribalism doesn't take us anywhere. I remember Oba Akiolu's unfortunate comment..someone who build even be discouraging such. Our generation will be badly affected by this menace, unless we nip it in the bud asap. Both tribes are guilty of this, going by what I've seen here on NL my broda. Imagine me being called Ibo cos I supported Obi, imagine them calling Obj ibo too, despite knowing his family house and genealogy, cos he supported a non-yoruba candidate? Is everyone not entitled to their choice of candidate? Is it by force you support a particular candidate all in the name of Tribalism? People's choice should be respected if truly we practice democracy and not tribalistocracy. |
Mayydayy:I lost over 35m naira. I know by God's grace, I'd recover |
raumdeuter:I heard everything he said. There's nothing serious in it. It's because of the muslim-muslim ticket which Tinubu went for. That's more of a religous war if you ask me, cos the arrangement did not only make the christian faith feel less important. It also made it feel threatened, going by the activities of islamist terrorists especially in northern Nigeria. No Muslim would also feel cool with a christian-christian ticket this day and age and in such a religous sensitive nation as ours. Truth be told. |
immortalcrown:You can say that again. OBJ achieved so much because he had solid team behind him. Imagine him going to the then AD to pick a member as his attorney-general. He remains the only detribalised leader in Nigeria today. I was among those who first attacked the apc blind supporters who can accept anything , including shiit if given to them and called rice, that the billions of dollars their illiterate leaders accused the obj of, was spent on constriction of power plants. Thos is one of the proofs. They need to ask Tony elumelu how much he spent on the geregu power plant he built, a single individual. They'd understand better. Obj made it clear that he built power plants with the money and evidence to show dey ground. This is one of them, which the apc is now cornering to themselves ![]() |
LordIsaac:How? |
Beolly:You may be talking from a tribalistic point of view, which most people always cling to as seen in the last election, which has also brought us where we are today as a nation. When OBJ was in power, the same people voted him instead of their own son. They voted obasanjo twice, a yorubaman. Obi isn't a yorubaman yet we gave him our vote in Alimosho, the largest LGA in Nigeria in population and with over 90% of that population being yorubas( both Christians and Muslims)Obi also defeated tinubu in lagos, mind you. The era of politics of deceit, religous bigotry and tribalism is winding down gradually. We'd get there someday. I always wonder each time they say Obi is a religous bigot, someone who never sold a same faith ticket to gullible Nigerians as tinubu did. I wonder how some people think smh! |
TITILOLA88:Hello, my cousin is, but on the condition that: You don't have excess luggage to carry You don't have any suspicious (not necessarily contraband) item you're carrying That you're the only one travelling. The reason I asked those questions are simple. Someone was introduced to me sometime ago. She was going for her master's degree. She had relations in Canada but had never travelled before so I was asked to help out since we're traveling along same route. I accepted cos of her aunt's kindness to us at home. We met at the airport. Come and see luggage like someone running away from home. She also had 2 kids, lots of orishirishi packed in luggage. I started becoming a courier assistant right from the airport, yanking off my suit to help out. We landed safely and I was still same person who assisted her in taking her luggage off the carousel one after the other. I wheeled them out for her to take a cab to her location. If you're not in that lady's description, fine. I'd ask him and revert |
abdeefggh:Your biased comment as the OP is a clear proof of where you belong and what you stand for...hate and mockery. But you scored cheaply on this, believe me. Since you're not a Labour party member but coming all out, just to make mockery of LP by generalising just one member's opinion over the entire member's, it's quite an irresponsible show. Why not allow LP to mete out the appropriate sanction on that member who's simply proving who he truly is...a traitor and a mole in the party, that he is? |
H2ho:A lot of apc-led administration's bad practices let to the free fall of the naira today... the truth which they'd always hide from their gullible supporters. When obaseki first exposed them, that finance minister always looking sick debunked it, before she finally voiced out to admit it. After that time, they still printed much more, ahead of the elections. We heard of the way one notable lady in Nigeria was always approaching the CBN to buy dollar at the official rates and sell to Nigerians at the black market rate, making huge sums in profit. She's abandoned her husband and relocated to Dubai even before handing over In all these, emilokan was aware as the national leader but kept quiet. |
Listen to her and you'd be glad you did, in the end |
MrProlific95:Obviously. Islam in Nigeria is like a sect and tradition, rather than faith. I'm not a fan of alcohol. In fact , my belief forbids it. Now alcohol had been allowed in Saudi but with some strict rules guiding it. In northern Nigeria where they enjoy taxes paid by Nigeria breweries, Guiness and NDL, they throw their products inside dungeon. Bunch of Hypocrites |
Dash people data and credit. For another country wey lawsuit dey always hungry people, mtn for don pay billions in damages by now |
How many times would putin threaten them with nukes . It would be nuclear war if the west should back Ukraine with ammunition yet they keep sending them amoured tanks and weapons and no nulcear war heard anywhere Should the west send Ukraine financial aid, it will be nuclear war, he was even seen carrying the nuclear activation box everywhere he went yet, the west dared him and he couldn't do jack. Empty barrel. |
Lobatan..over to you, set awon they're being sponsored ![]() |
EU spent triple yet, they used the grammar technical glitch to have their way. |

hisgrace090:They won't. Mark today's date. It's a diverted attention. I know why Obi praised him for that. He's such an intelligent man. It's for the record. They'd debate and debate and later say some clauses aren't valid anymore. They'd eventually jettison it and come up with their own. Watch out |
Daniel7543:Fara balę jor. Na people like you dis tin fit dey trip. They were brought in fairly used. Now it's been fully refurbished for people like you to drool over . No be only me see am. A lot of people saw them when they were being given a face lift in Abuja on arrival. Shebi those pants go soon commot. We go soon see fowl yansh naw.Remember Nigeria aren't fools. Abuja isn't the only place called Nigeria. We're well over 250m in population and we have 36 states. Should I remind you of the Jonathan's sure-p buses which flooded every state in preparation for his subsidy removal which Tinubu's sponsored protest stalled? |
Ambode, please don't let me start hating you cos you've earned my respect and accolades all along. I know at this point, they're looking for honest people to defend them (for face-saving). Don't allow them to rub your clothes with mess please |
