Iamgrey5: Sir, what is Obi's business in going to negotiate for power plant in another country when he could be building his Grass Roots support at home if he truly wanted to win the election?
>I can't support a obvious clown full of lies and deceit
>I can't support someone who kept foreign accounts secret while in public office
I am not supporting neither Tinubu nor Atiku but I can't support a clown just because I want to feel among.
And please stop guilt tripping the Yorubas by throwing nonsense ethnic coloration into your speech in supporting Obi every now and then
Let everyone support who they want These are the stories they always tell you. they're unverifiable stories so, don't fall for it. Shebi they said he built or bought a house abroad for millions of pounds with Anambra money. Efcc were even alerted to visit him and by the time Obi showed them the house papers, it read 1996 and Obi entered government years later, you see? Please google this. We have every proofs to tackle their lies. If you're not voting him, it's not by force my brother. But for me and my contemporaries, we're going for Obi. Good luck to your candidate too. |

Cool. Peter Obi l'ęni ti a fę, oun lęni ti a yan. This has nothing to do with ethnicity or religion. We've been deceived for too long.
He's yoruba, don't vote him, he's hausa, don't vote him, he's igbo, don't vote him...blablabla.
That's the weapon they've been using to divide us in their own interest. How do you expect Tinubu to go to Egypt to inspect Siemens power installation when he owns one of the discos? It wouid amount to shooting himself in the leg. He would never allow the sector to work. He's a political businessman who wouid never show interest in what wouldn't bring money in his pocket. Is that a leader? Atiku is same.
You don't need to pay kobo to any delegate to vote you. It means you're investing only to reap in multiple folds. We're not stupid. |

AnambraPrince: Some days ago,
- Ebonyi Governor Dave Umahi publicly declared he will mobilize igbo votes in his state for Tinubu
- Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello publicly declared he will deliver Kogi for Tinubu
- Niger Governor is canvassing for Tinubu
- Katsina Governor is dancing to Tinubu's reggae and blues
- Kano Governor has turned to superman because of Tinubu
- Borno Governor Zulum is on Tinubu train
- Kaduna Governor is supporting Tinubu
- Even Wike has said many times he likes and respects Tinubu and has no issues with him whatsoever.
- and I can go on and on. But the main point is that outside of Tinubu's Southwest region, outside Lagos state where Tinubu was Governor in 1999 - 2007, the list of prominent people that control various major party structures across their states, and the grassroots politicians in favor of Tinubu outside is so HUGE!
How can someone that has left Governor seat since over about 15 years ago command such love and relevance? Tinubu endears so much people outside of his zone, people from other tribes, people from different cultures, people from other parties, the people that matter in politics, the big fishes in the pond. It means Tinubu must be a man of solid character, a man that is useful, a man that is not tribalistic, a loyal man, a man of excellent principles to be able to maintain that kind of high level association and friendships over the long years.
But we just cannot say the same thing about Peter Obi. He was also a 2 term Governor of Anambra but since he left governor seat Obi has been so politically irrelevant. Despite jumping from one party to another, he still doesn't have any significant political network or networth among the people that matter in the political sphere outside of his Southeast zone, even in Anambra.
No single person that matter in politics outside of the Southeast, people that control major political structures in their states, or local politicians that command a huge grassroots following outside of the Southeast has canvassed or is canvassing for Obi. Peter Obi is practically like a political orphan, he is on his own. It really looks like nobody among the somebody's likes him. Actually, that's the fact of the matter.
Something must definitely be wrong with his outlook. Is Peter Obi so tribalistic to the point that nobody outside the Southeast likes him? Even in Anambra, no major political heavyweights are behind him. That already shows you Peter Obi will make a terrible president, he has no bridges, no solid political association or affiliation with others, he will be a one man show. But a tree cannot make a forest.
Sad thing is, even igbo terrorists like Autopilot IPOB are against him. Only UGM and ESN IPOBs are supporting him. But these are the undeniable triuths his uncouth wild unruly violent zombie supporters don't want other people to talk about. What a shame for their dull brains. Who are the people supporting Obi outside the Southeast? People like Deji Adeyanju and other Twitter riffraffs who are the nobodies of Nigerian politics You're the tribal bigot here guy. If you're not tired of drinking same old water which keeps giving you running stomach, we are . I'm yoruba 100%. In my office, all we're talking about is Obi. We all have our pvcs and will do justice with it. Why do you always think that, only those who do not support tinubu the corrupt fellow are ipob? Can you say this in oyo state without being given a deserving treat by the youths? You can't also say this in ondo state. Look at the 2019 presidential election results in ondo and that alone will tell if your man is on ground or not. Another 4 years of apc will spell doom for Nigeria, God forbid! If not for their loyalty for aketi, he'd have also lost governorship in ondo. Stop being emotionally attached to all these retard politicians who have blocked your future and fortune. Do you now have light as their national grid keeps collapsing? Tell me the truth. Can you travel on Nigerian roads today anytime you choose without being scared? Those you're supporting dont travel by road. Tinubu was in abeokuta recently for a meeting during which he insulted dapo Abiodun and he kept checking the time, saying they had to return to lagos because helicopter doesnt fly beyond 60pm, such a short distance which could have been trevelled by road. Here in lagos, they've been using 4th mainland bridge and lagos owned airport to campaign since 1999. Between then and now, some mushroom states had built airports without making noise. When I say mushroom I'm talking of states whose IGR is so slim compared to lagos. Delta State airport in Asaba, Ebonyi of all states, Anambra, Bayelsa had their airports. Which state needs it more? The Anambra airport was Obis initiative. Obiano only actualized it. See, don't let anyone deceive you. Religous and tribal bigotry will not take us anywhere in life. In 1999, the election results which crowned obj was from the south east and south south while we voted falae. In 2015, I voted a muslim man from the north though he didn't live up to expectations and now, its obi. You guys first said he's ipob apologist but now, you're saying same ipob hates him in your post. What exactly are we to believe in your lies? It's laughable when people talk about labour party in ekiti collapsing structures with the apc. Our focus isn't to win a state guber or a single LG. Leave trash for lawma. Let those parties keep electing their governors. They will defect later. I always refer to mimiko cos people never believed it couid happen in ondo but he shocked them under same.labout party. It wouldn't cost any governor a thing to defect to Labour party later. They should concentrate on winning their states first. Before you can win governorship, you must have had a complete structure at the state level from the grassroots, winning some LGAs, councillorship, etc cos these were the people who wouid work and campaign for your winning. Mimiko had no single LG Chair talkless of labour party winning councilorship. Despite this, he won governorship under labour party, defeating the ruling pdp candidate and AD/ACN candidate in person of Mr Adegoroye whom tinubu personally campaigned for and spent billions of naira. Mimiko had the majority on his side. When you have the people, you can win any general election. Guys, pls leave obi alone. We're loving his moves. davidzfarm18: BEFORE YOU GET CARRIED AWAY PLEASE READ ANOTHER SIDE OF P.O
Felix Brokadenero
READ WITH AN OPEN MIND:
Chief Willie Obiano has revealed that contrary to the sanctimonious posturing of his predecessor, former Governor Peter Obi, the state was saddled with a huge domestic debt of N127 billion when he left office in March 2014.
The N127 billion debt came mostly from the 101 road contracts that the former governor hurriedly awarded at the dying minutes of his regime without making any provision whatsoever for them in order to create problems for his administration from the very first day.
He mentioned the last minute employment of 6000 workers without provision for their welfare as well as the various hotels and independent power projects which he had no plans to complete.
Obiano’s revelation came on the heels of the growing inconsistencies in the figures being thrown up by Obi which have left many discerning observers wondering just how much the former governor actually left behind.
Obi’s sudden volte-face from his earlier declaration that he handed N75 billion cash to his successor and his declaration at the flag off of the PDP campaign in Onitsha yesterday that the actual amount he handed over was N48,626 billion.
While delivering an address that has been mostly dismissed by political analysts as suicidal, Obi was caught on camera saying “when I was leaving this place, we left in savings N26bn. We set aside for important projects, N23,629 billion. If you put the two together, it will come to N48, 626 billion.”
For instance, Obi’s reportage of the 16.5% equity stake in emenite, a fibre cement roof and ceiling manufacturing company set up by the premier of the old Eastern Region, Dr M.I. Okpara, which was shared between the five states that made up the as part of the trumpeted investments he had handed over to Obiano is nothing but pure fraud.
Observers also complained that it speaks volumes about Obi’s vaunted integrity to realize that he also reported that he had invested the sum of N3.5 billion in Interfact Beverages Limited, when in reality what he invested was N1.4 billion only.
This followed Obiano’s announcement that his administration would soon revise the discrepancy to reflect the actual equity stake of the state in the company.
Other dead bodies buried in Obi’s handover note include the N9 billion involuntary investment in the Nigerian Independent Power Project, conceived in 2004 by the Obasanjo regime which the Federation Account was charged to fund on behalf of the 36 states. One wonders how this investment could have found its way into Obi’s phantom savings that he handed over to Obiano in cash.
Other components of Obi’s “famous” N75 billion cash handover include the N4 billion estimated value of the land resources of Anambra State on which the oil installations of Orient Petroleum Resources stands which he “cleverly” converted into the state’s shareholding in Orient Petroleum Plc and quickly reported as his own wise investment while in actuality, the only investment in the company when Obi handed over was the N100 million invested by former governor Chris Ngige who also issued the C of O for the land.
Another embarrassing falsehood reported as part of the N75 billion cash handover is the Federal Government refund to Anambra State on the repair of federal roads in the state which stood at N10 billion during Obi’s regime.
It smacks of utter mischief to report this debt owed the state by the Federal Government as a part of the cash handover as the Federal Government has yet to clear the debt while the Obiano regime has responded to more distress calls on federal roads in the state, pushing the debt overhang now to N43.8 billion to date.
