Did north vote Jonathan in 2011? Google how many northen states, including pdp states voted him. They rather voted their governors in pdp and voted buhari in the presidential election despite Jonathan picking a northerner as running mate then. That described how much they hated South and I dont see tinubu being treated differently in next year's election. Then youd know khaki no be leda. The outcome of 2011 election had shown that you don't need core northern votes to win election in Nigeria. Work hard in the south and Middle belt. Some Liberal northern states too. The rest is inconsequential. Why did you think the north protested in 2011 when buhari lost? They had thought with their massive rigging and overhyped population, they could always decide who wins general elections in Nigeria. Don't make a mistake by calling me ipob as some ignorantly do. I can only advise you think beyond ethnicity and religion in this election so you don't wail for another 4 years. Religous and ethnic bigotry slow down a nation's development. Check out countries where such is happening. They're not moving forward.

Same ipob voted Obasanjo in 1999 when we yoruba abandoned him and voted falae. They voted atiku, a northerner in 2019 as well. Reason wisely. Obi is coming.

Thanks for this OP. In my opinion, currently...social media sensitization is key. We're not corrupt politicians who can throw dollars around and those collecting it would think such politicians would not recoup it in multiple folds should they win election. OP, I'd tell you why I feel the social media sensitization is much needed right now.

The majority of those in the voting age are youths...educated youths. They spend most of their time on the social media even in offices, workplaces and on their mobile phones.

Social media sensitization saves alot of costs. Labour Party is the party of the masses and masses who have a major voice to lend but with very limited resources. The resources need to be used judiciously. When Barack Obama was contesting,I was rounding off my programme in Buffalo, upstate NY. I couid see the role the social media played in electing the first black man in America as president. E shock dem grin

I remember David Plouffe , the Obama campaign manager. He utilised the power of social media and that's key in this election as well. By the time house to house sensitization would start, Nigerians will see the difference. It will be purely issues-based. We have suffered too long in the hands of these wolves and hyenas in govt and enough of such sufferings. Their national grid is still not up yet, ASUU is still on strike and hundreds of thousands of students are home right now. Banditry keeps increasing . Today, scores were killed in benue. They've failed woefully.

I was tackling someone here a few minutes ago who responded to my post for supporting Obi. I had met with this man personally in the past. We had boarded same flight together. This man never had an orderly, no escorts, no private jets and he was seated at the economy side. I'm talking of 5 years ago and he still does so till now. I trust him...and the only igbo leader I can trust as a yoruba man, sadly undecided

I pitied Umahi when he was seen lamenting on channels TV last night over South Eastern delegates who betrayed the region after collecting 25kusd each and voted a candidate from another region. Obi isn't even liked by his contemporaries in that region cos they know he's not reckless. He cannot give them money unless they work for it and that's the type of people we need, a technocrat per excellence. Sadly, buhari is like him too but he's not a technocrat. He has no idea of democratic governance. They just deceived us by putting him there and used the opportunity of his ignorance to pilfer our common resources. The same man who deceived us is now vying for his position. Who doesn't know he will be worse? If you put buiari by his side, someone who's even older and of a frail health, buhari looks much stronger than tinubu. I won't waste my vote again. I'd satisfy my conscience and work hard for Obi. I'd donate when the time comes and sponsor some of his programmes. We never knew lagos was so rich until ambode came. Lagos declared budget surplus for the first time in decades despite executing those massive projects. Though he was kicked off for doing a good job and serving lagosians, his name won't be forgotten in Lagos.

Someone ignorantly said to me, how do you think labor party without a stricture or an ordinary LG Chair or governor would win presidential election? I just laughed hysterically. He should go and ask Olusegun Mimiko who won governorship under labor party, defeating the ruling pdp and the then opposition in the state from behind . Prior to that time, no single labour party as LG chairman in ondo state. Once the majority is on your side , you don't have problems on winning an election.
Nigerians, there is a huge task ahead. This is the moment we've been waiting for. Join us!

Labour party is the party of the Nigerian Labour Force, the masses, the less privileged and students...and that's the biggest structure ever. The membership is massive. There are millions of employees in private sectors too and these are the people who wouid do justice to our corrupt politicians next year.
The Labour force is the structure ok? . You don't have to have a LG chairman or a governor or a godfather in your party to win a general election so long as you have the majority on your side. It's unfortunate our constitution doesn't allow an independent candidature and it's a deliberate attempt by our politicians to shortchange those with great ideas who can trully lead.

Olusegun Mimiko won Ondo State governorship under the Labour Party which didn't even have a Councillor, let alone a LG chairman before he came on board. People like you, including the PDP and Tinubu said he was deceiving himself until he won massively. Its pathetic some of you supporting these corrupt politicians and moneybags always think the table can't turn. We are wiser now. Even if kwakwanso didn't step down for obi, he'd get a suitable northerner as running mate. There's still enough time for that, from tonight till June 17th. The reason isn't far-fetched. Who takes a party that bought the conscience of delegates with dollars seriously? Is Atiku or Tinubu father Xmas? I was in Munich some years back and the driver who picked me at the airport said....we are Bavarians when I said I loved his benz taxi. He said BMW is their preferred automobile in Munich while benz is for another region in Germany. He was so proud to say it.

Here in Nigeria, we used to be very proud of our Peugeot brand. During the military era, na Peugeot be their official cars. Companies wouid always prefer Peugeot for their staff too. Where's Peugeot today? Where is Michelin,Where's Oluwa Glass, Where's Nigerite, Where's exide battery? Where's Dunlop, etc? They've all moved to Ghana. Total is leaving Nigeria by end of 2022 finally while shell had since left. They keep saying naira is going down in value but they fail to tell us the truth that same people in government caused it.

They're not even ashamed of corruption anymore. They think money is everything? We will show them.

The 2023 elections will be decided by the following:

The entire Labour Force, the affiliate of Labour Party itself

The Nigerian forward-thinking professionals

The unemployed youths

The students whose future had been tampered with by our leaders. They're at home right now cos of ASUU strike.

The parents. Etc

Let them keep deceiving themselves. We are wiser now. They've turned us against one another for too long in the name of tribalism. They can't prevail on that anymore. On obi's mandate we stand. Please donate when the time is right. Get your pvc now!

Maybe they can get some in my region in the south west. Despite ondo and oyo being apc in 2019, they still lost to the pdp. Lagos votes was padded for nearly 2 weeks and by the time the result was released, the margin was so close. That shows apc's popularity in my region is nothing to be reckoned with. At least Atiku already tested his popularity at the general election, unlike kwankwaso that never gone pass the primary. And from the report coming from north, so many of his protégés didn’t defect with him to his zonal party except few in Kano, and that would definitely spell doom for him.

Don't let them deceive the broda. I go to North always. If Ganduje could go as far as giving up his senatorial bid in order to discourage members from defecting and they still left to join kwakwanso, then its a serious matter. Which politician would go as far as Ganduje did in the present day Nigeria, just to appease aggrieved party members? They're too selfish to take such a step. That's how strong kwakwanso is. If a southerner won the pdp ticket in 2019, he'd have still gone as far as Atiku did cos the ground was already levelled for him. Those pdp dominated states were loyal to him on a party basis ,not on the basis of personality. Benue and Taraba were a good example of a few states he won in the north, except adamawa where his personality worked for him.

Had kano election not rigged in 2019, kwakwanso's candidate would have won. I'm sure you remember the story very well. During the general election, his candidate had defeated the apc, leaving out the areas declared inconclusive. Before the election was conducted in those areas, believed to be kwakwanso candidate's strongholds, the apc went on the mission of damage control, tarring abandoned roads overnight in those areas , giving people money, sinking boreholes, etc just to win their souls. It didn't end there oo, they deployed thugs there to disperse some stubborn kwakwanso loyalists. We saw the injured on the tv, even here on NL. If not for the desperation of the ruling party, pdp would have won kano. That's how much they loved kwakwanso. Anyway, let's wait and see what happens in coming days

The two strongest are Buhari and Atiku, kwankwaso is not even close.

Party made atiku strong and not his popularity/personality. The predominantly pdp dominated south east and south south states made him earn so much votes and popularity. Any candidate flying the pdp flag would have enjoyed such number of votes as well and his alliance with Obi did the magic. How many states did atiku win in the north 2019? Let's start our argument from there.

Please do this, go and pull out the presidential primaries results of the apc ahead of 2015 and see where kwakwanso stood. He wasn't the only northerner who ran with buhari in that primaries, remember? The Tinubu's campaign manager has left to work with kwakwanso, shekarau too had left. Not even Ganduje giving up his senatorial ambition could appeal to those who left the apc and these used to be strong members they relied upon to win kano for them.

Elrufai's little popularity doesn't go beyond kaduna. He won his first and second term as a result of Buhari's popularity not his. I'm still searching for that popular politician in the north shaa that tinubu would pick. I'd have thought of lawan but he's still a small boy. Someone was even bragging that he would defeat tinubu and come out as the consensus candidate. I'm sure you knew his scores after primaries.

Ahead of 2015, buhari induced no delegate with money, neither did kwakwanso as we had recenrly in the pdp and apc. People voted them willingly at primaries. The margin was also close between the 2 of them...how better do you now describe being strong in this case? As a tribesman, I'd have wanted tinubu to win but I know he's not going to get it. Today is a democracy day so, you'd not forget in a hurry the day i said this. Good luck to him.

You already know what happened to mankind in the beginning when they chose to believe the lies of the devil instead of the Truth of God. It was the worst single decision mankind ever made, as humanity is yet grappling with the damning repercussions of such actions up til this very day.

I don't have any qualms with you resigning from your position in Winners' Chapel over poor treatment from your superiors there. You're not the first to do so, as many Winner's Chapel pastors have also complained about similar issues, including some pastors who were sacked not too long ago, to show it's indeed an area of concern the leaders of the church need to look into.

But turning from a pastor to a babalawo because some voices you knew very well were of the devil, were speaking to you and telling you that you're a babalawo by design? Haba!

You ought to know better than that!

You aren't the first person the devil would tell such lies to and you wouldn't be the last.

A neighbor of mine had suffered much more than you in the hands of the devil. She almost died herself on several occasions because of demonic attacks. They also tried to kill her newborn son.

It's not been easy and straightforward because the devil would always try to frustrate and discourage anyone who decides to serve God's purpose for her life, but God has proven Himself faithful and strong to her that she's grateful to Him and also encouraging others to do same.

So gentleman, you made a big mistake to fall for the lies of the devil about you.

You're not a Babalawo by design. It's a lie from the pit of hell, because you're meant to serve God with your life not the devil.

Do not be deceived by how things might seem presently because, trust me, you're surely going to regret this your decision at some point. I hope it's not too late for you to correct it by then though.

Come back to God while you still can because God still loves you.

OP, do you remember what the bikes says? The judgement will start from the household of God, 1Perer 4:17. The rate at which atheists grow nowadays is alarming and majorly caused by religous leaders. God can't live where material wealth is elevated above Him. A lot of Christians have been misled. Some don't even go to church regularly anymore. Leaders doing what members can't even try or imagine. All these are signs of endtime but many are too blind to see and ignorant to know. That someone people had the gift of prophesy, vision, healing...etc. doesn't mean they're candidates of heaven. Those gifts are given by God, for free. They'd be asked how the utilised it in the last day.

So I went to church with my family, at the entrance of the church members of protocol use their security gadgets to search us whether we carry any kind of weapon. Me that did not even carry Bible expect my phone and offering, yet they use their gadgets on me.

My opinion:

I was just laughing because it seems they don't trust their members again for instance me a member of more than five years and listen to the pastor almost every week.
I think this acts in church will further discourage people from attending church services but to stick to electronic programmes

The security search was necessary in view of what's happening today. Afterall, Judas was a deciple of Jesus. Who could ever think he'd betray Him? The devil can use anyone, including pastors

APC can run with a Muslim-muslim and that should be their aim! They shouldn’t succumb to minority wailers, win the core north and the liberal south west!

The question you should ask yourself is, what's the popularity strength between atiku and kwakwanso in the north, what about integrity? They don't see atiku as a true Nigerian talkless of a respected Northerner. When kwakwanso coughs, the ground shakes. He was instrumental to Buhari's win in the north, not only in kano. Remember he came second during their primaries back then? People even thought he was going to be apc flagbearer. Ganduje wasn't known ahead of 2015. He produced him.

If the alliance between obi and kwakwanso should work, that's all. The north doesn't believe in Tinubu cos of his antecedents. They know he's not a man of integrity. Religion apart, with my experience, northerners crave integrity and that was why they supported buhari so much. He had our support too down south. After buhari in popularity in the north,Kwakwanso is next.

Down south, only those followers of tinubu are his proteges and their family members, not the majority. APC loss in oyo state despite being the ruling party, edo too, and close margin of lagos election results were a proof. Had lagos election results not padded for nearly 2 weeks in 2019 before release, lagos would have lost to the opposition. Sanwoolu and osinbajo lost to the pdp in their polling units. Tinubu had been spending money to earn popularity all the while but we're wiser now. We never believed our state had so much money until ambode came. He was our eye opener.

In the south east, apc can't get 1% vote, south south too, not even now that obi, the man of the people is running. Apc can't get same amount of 2015/2019 votes again in the north now that baba is leaving, south west too, just Mark it.

Those who would decide these elections are:

The Nigerian workers ( the labour force)
The Nigerian youths most of whom are unemployed
The Nigerian students who had spent 6 years or more in school instead of 4.
The less privileged who heard of 50kusd/25kusd shared at primaries when they had no Hope of one square meal per day.

I guess elrufai is Tinubu's motivational speaker, using kaduna as a case study on their Muslim-Muslim ticket. He will be shocked. Does it mean there's no qualified apc christian in the north? Kaduna, where teens were seen collecting 100 naira before thumbprinting on a ballot in viral videos, isn't same as Nigeria as a whole. Someone should tell elrufai this. Tinubu should just make a mistake by picking a Muslim as his running mate. It wouid be an easy win for obi or atiku. Buhari and aregbe saved their party from making same mistake in 2015.
