KillingIsFun:I can also go too Google like you're doing if they would make you understand me and am so sure you know what I meant. See the pictures marching my description below

KillingIsFun:Don't show me clustered buildings and palaces. I'm sure you know what talking about |
KillingIsFun:Go to the UK and ask them to pull down their ancient, small clay-moulded houses in Manchester and central London. You wouldn't like what happens to you next. We should learn to keep our heritage. Do you think they don't have money to modernise those roofs or pull down the buildings? Instead, they moved to outskirts to build and develop. There are several historic sites in ibadan. The oldest Palace is still there standing. |
KillingIsFun:As of the time those brown roofs were in place , 99.9% of Nigerian houses were covered with bamboo. Civilisation started from Ibadan in the south western part of Nigeria in the entire west Africa in those days . Read about the history of ibadan the former largest city in the whole of Africa. Up till today, you can only spot a few of such brown roofs in few towns and cities in Nigeria and where such exists, the building must be in ruins or totally abandoned. My recent experience in calabar at Lord Lugard house where the amalgamation treaty of 1914 took place was amazing. Only that building had that type of roofs in the whole of that town. I hail Ibadan for still keeping those houses instead of pulling them down and erecting modern ones. It's part of yoruba heritage as you have in the UK with those century old buildings |
The Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Ihekweazu, has been appointed as the Assistant Director General of Health Emergency Intelligence at the World Health Organisation (WHO). Ihekweazu’s appointment – which comes into effect on November 1, 2021 – was disclosed in a letter signed by the WHO Director General, Tedros Ghebreyesus. “I am pleased to welcome Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu as an Assistant Director-General for Health Emergency Intelligence from November 1, 2021. “He will lead the work on strengthening pandemic and epidemic intelligence globally, including heading the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence in Berlin. “Dr Ihekweazu is currently the Director-General of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. He was trained as an infectious disease epidemiologist, has over 20 years of experience working in senior public health and leadership positions in several National Public Health Institutes, including the South African National Institute for Communicable Diseases, the United Kingdom’s Health Protection Agency, and Germany’s Robert Koch Institute. “He has led several short-term engagements for WHO, mainly in response to major infectious disease outbreaks around the world. “Dr Ihekweazu, a Nigerian national, who was born in Germany, is a graduate of the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria and has a Masters in Public Health from the Heinrich-Heine University, Dusseldorf, Germany. In 2003, he was awarded a Fellowship for the European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training and subsequently completed his Public Health specialization in the United Kingdom. “He is widely published in medical peer-reviewed journals,” Ghebreyesus’ statement partly read. Sources in the NCDC also confirmed the development to Channels Television and disclosed that the inauguration of the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence is expected to take place later on Wednesday. Dr Ihekweazu is expected to partake in a panel session at the ceremony, even as the hub seeks to bring together partners worldwide to collaborate and create tools and data needed for countries to prepare, detect and respond to pandemic and epidemic risks. This special event will also include a ceremony to recognize Chancellor Angela Merkel’s outstanding leadership in global public health. https://www.channelstv.com/2021/09/01/ncdc-dg-ihekweazu-appointed-assistant-dg-of-who/amp/ |

COWard government in power |
She don belle full na. Hungry people no dey drink alcohol |
Teadavid23:Asa kolawole olawuyi. Greeting offence was just an excuse. They must have been monitoring her for long, without her noticing. Bad guys everywhere |
Coronabirus:wee you shut up? Arotlle was assassinated by northerners who weren't cool the way she was shelling their born criminals . How can someone claim he revised to greet a bystander on a road filled with speed bump at intervals and the speed would be so much to knock her down when she wasn't lying on the floor? The former COAS was on target alongside southern officers. They claimed the innocent man was boasting that he would probe the billions if naira which disappeared under the guise of arm procurement and he was taken off. Only fools like you would think Tolulope Arotlle was truly hit by a car. Her body was never shown to any of her family members. Borno jet crash, Abuja jet crash, the COAS jet crash and the most recent one which failed...all had mostly southern brilliant officers on board. Cdre Olawunmi had busted your bubbles. Asiri yin ti tu |
Sheriman:The new monarch will change the narrative. It won't be business as usual. That's why the big and mighty didn't want him. |
Head wey go Wear crown, Head wey the big and mighty go bow for, if e reach ISWAP den, dem go spare am...he must wear the crown dandan |
JoeEeL:They were truly black. Pharaoh Ramses was a black man. Anyone in doubt should just visit neighbouring Ethiopia and Tigrey. They were blacks too. Arabs also invaded some parts of Ethiopia according to history but the majority of them were black still, as seen today. We shouldn't make the kind of mistake Egypt of old made down south. Their story was so pathetic. They relied on their might and magical powers, without studying the tactics of the Arabs who later took their land. |
Not again |
Wiseandtrue:Our Southern politicians are useless. I'm happy they're now retracing their paths. Fulanis have taken them for a ride for too long but they didn't realise this early enough. It's better late than never. If a southerner was to be caught in a trap, its his fellow southerner fulanis would bribe to get him. Whereas, if a Fulaniman sees his fellow stealing the whole of CBN If possible, he'd look the other way. Its really annoying. |
ThatFairGuy1:See this one. I'm not ashamed to call myself edo and lagos guy, unlike many of you who came from nowhere to claim our place. Where I can place my feet on in Lagos, I doubt if you can. My dad is edo, oh yes and am not ashamed of that, while my mum is lagosian. I was born here, schooled here even got the lagos state bursary in my undergraduate days. The day your mentor from iragbiji in person of tinubu came to visit pa jakande House a few months ago, I dey there. He walked past me, Bar. Muirs Banire was also there. He accompanied him. Tinubu greeted mum, even called her by her alias...sisi oge When tinubu was governor. The one day governor boy appointed by him was my brother. Go find out. I can become whatever I want in lagos, including governor. As an Akoko-Edo boy, my surname is yoruba and am from the yoruba side of the state. All you guys who claim and lie to be from lagos, we will place you where you belong. It won't be long. Watch out . |
2023 go sweet wella. Shock awaits all of you. Details later |
Na why he no dey rep naija for boxing? Yeye man |
ThatFairGuy1:enough said. Tell jakande family where I belong maternally that they're edo. Your extradition back to your home state would be so bizarre. Then we'd know who's real lagosian. |
athaboi:we don't want tinubu. Osinbajo is better. Awa ko fę Agbero government n'ilu yii |
Pacify kee una there |
How people hate this man heen! But they'd still rig it like they did when he first entered. Afi ti owo ( hand) olori election rigger of lagos isn't there anymore |
Trumann:Katangowa isn't outskirts oo. Have you been there before near abule egba? If the same people could be collecting same ticket moni at the Popular Ile-Epo food stuff market, why wouldn't they extend it to the new ICT site which is just 2k meters away?Coker Building Materials site along mile 2 expressway is more remote than the new ICT site yet, they still collect iyaloja moni from them |
Retired Cdre, now Prof. Olawunmi talk am. |
