2special:you'd love the place. Its a peaceful city where everything is damn cheap. 8 must have a house inside oluyole estate. The land compared to what's obtainable in lagos as i learnt is like a free gift. Where a land would cost as much as 20m in lagos, in ibadan, in a similar estate the land could cost as low as 4m naira. I've seen a house , an upstairs of 12 rooms, put up for sale in liberty Road, a nice location in ibadan for 6m naira , yes |
First, Ibadan and last, Ibadan. Till now there's 50 naira food. Fufu or amala wrap, 30 naira, strong meat( ishan eran) , 20 naira. |
After the whole covid-19 brouhaha and curtailment, the world needs to hit China hard for causing harm to millions at their own benefits |

So far isn't rape, the shooting mist be investigated and culprit brought to book. |
dexterinc2003:are their looks as black as the clothes they wore? The last pictures in which those gals wore white were not real. A professional photographer would understand better. You could even use your phone to make that effect with color selection on Samsung galaxy s10 or apple iPhone. Nobody is black so afficans aren't black. Pick a charcoal and place it beside your skin and you'd see the difference. A white man or women should do same by putting a white clothe and match same with his or her skin. Nobody is white or black. Its just an impolite , shallow thinking |
Righteousness89:You're selfish. Why not pray to God to change that person so he or she can become saved and make heaven with you? Yours is a typical example of African way of praying. As a Christian, you should learn to be Christ-like. |
I'm not black. I'm chocolate in colour. No human being on earth is black in colour, just like no human being on earth is white. I've never seen a white-skinned lady similar to that of cottonwool or black like that of charcoal. It's all a description brought about by the light-skinned men and women who chose to label Africans with a bad omen out if hate and racism |
MondayOsunbor:i heard you |
Lankybaby:no mind the yeye man. Make dem arrest more. His boys are overzealous |
pretydiva:dont mind him. Who go do website for a whopping 45k?. I did mine for just 15k. I was impressed by his job and dashed him 5k |

North would be worse than.Somalia the way things are going on there. My worry is the name of Nigeria they're destroying outside because they wouldn't say it's northern Nigeria this mess is taking place. |
Congrats. I was also looking for oga face na. Try show us ![]() |
What an issues- based campaign ![]() |
na we go colonise africa last. We're doing same in South Africa and Ghana right now ![]() Bag government has its good and bad side. Had everyone been fine back home people wouldn't have found any need to go outside to explore opportunities. Na those doing bad things in those countries I no like sha. They should stop destroying our name. |
jrusky:that's what will happen by God's grace. I was in a meeting with LG chair of akoko edo in the past weekend with various ward chairs. He was feeling like, the election should be like tomorrow. its high time people stopped promoting thuggery and impunity ahead good governance. I see edo election forming a template for the future elections in Nigeria where you don't need to know anybody to win elections freely and fairly. |
PureGoldh:Edo isn't lagos. The 2 of them are our brothers. We have told ize-iyamu to allow obaseki do his 8 years because he didn't offend us. He hasn't done badly. If there's anyone whos planning violence, it's those thugs from lagos or kogi. Edo people no dey kill eachother for election sake. And to those planning to cause violence, we wish them safe journey to edo. They'd wish they were never born. I won't say more than that |
eseosa85:lol. Did the federal might favour them during the presidential elections? Dem share money reach my compound sef. Make I no lie, na apc I support that time because I like buhari. Eventually, the PDP candidate won the presidential election in edo. But obaseki na our man for governorship. Had he remained in the apc, we would still have voted him because he never said he was leaving the party. Now that he has joined the family of the pdp, the traditional party in the state, we had to also follow him. This election is about personality and not party. Ize-iyamu would be disappointed to think baba would send down troop to rig for him. In the past week, they were busy calling people. I didn’t know how they got my number, asking people to vote apc. In fact, by the time i began highlighting obaseki performance, the lady dropped the call sharply ![]() |
jrusky:we are not going to fall your hand bro. Na 4+4=8 |
NaMe4:is equal to 8. Baba sef like obaseki. It's unfortunate he had to leave the party for oshiomohle after the latter used abracadabra to chase him away. |
These people mata don taya me ![]() |
Obaseki has exposed our FG . He's been able to prove to Nigerians it's not rocket science to build a refinery. If he could do this with limited resources and partnership with the investors, I see nothing special in building modern refineries by the federal govt who has all the funds, at a higher capacity and output in a short term. They've wasted billions of dollars on the so-called TAM yearly which had apparently entered the pockets of their padipadi. I hope Nigerians would now see how the fed govt had been slapping us in the face all in the name of carrying out TAM for years. I wish the NNPC could be scrapped. |
Trentee:make tambuwal contest,he would win cos he's the only incorruptible candidate after buhari. The north would support him, being from the north and a north-west man. Its an easy win for him in the south. Me sef go vore am |
Kestolove:prophetess of doom. If tambuwal should be allowed to contest, the entire north would back him because of his pedigree. It would be about personality and not the party. The south would also follow suit alongside a sizeable number of yorubas. No other candidates seen so far from other parties is reputable. Considering his age too, he's fit. Healthwise he's also OK. |

@ ayclem01 , I meant first of its kind to have attained that level of completion, soon to commence operation. I didnt say first of its kind in nigeria in existence. But you saw where I mentioned the ones VP osinbajo came to niger-delta to inaugurate so, how could I have said its first of its kind in Nigeria to be in existence? Please seek clarification before you say one is lying. Read comments to understand too and not to just attack baselessely. Some of those you mentioned even started construction before the edo modular refinery. Be that as it may, the difference between edo governor and other governors is between land and skies. In Nigeria, all what you hear most governors do is sink boreholes, buy vehicles for chiefs, give money out to people to share as we always see etc. They embark on short term projects where they could embezsle and leave crumbs behind. obaseki's projects are mainly capital and long term ones. That doesn't mean he deserted road construction but he doesn't make noise about it. Its suppsed to be seen as normal. I'm aware of the modular refineries you mentioned especially the akwa ibom and imo ones. Seplat is one of the beneficiaries in that region . None of them is at the advanced stage as seen in edo refinery. The reason being that, some individuals wanted to set up some while in edo 2 firms pulled resources together. I work with facts and I have my facts in my hands. That was why I said in my previous comment that they were neither here nor there. In case you're from edo and you've suddenly forgotten, the largest ceramics industry in west Africa which obaseki went to China to bring to Nigeria when Oshiomohle was in power was completed in 6.5 years, not 4. The power plant is near completion. The refinery is over 80% completion. You can go there and see as its open for visit to edolites. I've been there myself, been to the power plant too. The power plant serving the ceramics company and host community was completed in 5 years not 4. Ask the fed govt while the gelegele port hasn't taken off, not obaseki. Alot of government policies at work. The marble plant at ikpeshi is going to be massive when completed next year. I can go on and on. In etsako, obaseki empowered farmers who are mainly rice farmers and not only in etsako. I knew about the etsako projects because it's close to my local govt in akoko edo and one of the beneficiariesis a close friend. Its same in every local govt. Tractors were bought, harvesters were shared with them and soft loans were given. Google it if in doubt. Major newspapers carry am. Now, did you know obaseki had equipped and built more primary health centres mostly in the remote towns and villages, tarred roads but nobody is making mouth about it. Its because its a normal thing a governor should do to the people unlike some who would be showing same on television 2km roads constructed and sponsor same on channels tv or AIT. I've seen a governor from the east show 2km roads on tv and where he was sharing kerosene to people, lool. Obaseki campaigned in edo central yesterday near uromi and told the people he didn't come to just campaign but to also commision the road projects there, which he first did before mounting the podium. Oshomole didn't near that place in 8 years, because they were not apc-dominated areas. He also promised to do more to them. He could have come on air to show people but he's not that type as we know. My coming here is to put certain things right as lots of people have been misled here with lies and they're mostly not from edo. This isn't nice. |
