I am a believer and a devout Christian, just so you know. Grace is there for everyone including yourself to repent and decist from evil acts. Not many would be so lucky to have that rate opportunity to mend their ways at their last moments but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Where you missed it is, you've taken the position of God by judging already. Stop turning Bible upside down. Read it to understand instead. Where was it recorded in the bible that the thief on the right hand didn't know about christ prior to his crucifixion? How then did he know about Jesus' kingdom in which he said Jesus should remember him ever existed? Just like today, Jesus was known to many but they didn't just believe that time.

who says you shouldn't apply to join the army too? If you last one year after recruitment, you must be highly favoured. They need people to go to sambisa, zamfara, katsina etc and end up being killed like chicken by terrorists who hold sophisticated weapons and understand the terrain much better

all you've said is nothong but carnal imaginations. If you're Christian which I doubt, you'd remember the thief on the right hand of jesus Christ on the cross, what he said and what Jesus said to him. Not everybody would have that grace or opportunity to make thinks right at their moment of passing like the thief on the righr hand. Kashamu had a case with the wicked baba ijebu as fondly called and he said he would withdraw all the cases and the man should forgive him. Its not easy for someone like him to have reconciled considering what he stood to lose. Chief adebutu even doubted him during that conversation but kashamu maintained he was serious. I had a neighbour, an old woman. The evening she died, her son ran to me to help check if she could still wake up. By the time I got there, she was already gone. She was such a nice woman.Later her first born said, no wonder she was busy settling her debts a few days earlier that she didn't want to owe anybody, making peace with everyone and she was wondering why was she doing all that and the woman didn't even show anybody any sign that she was going to die.

I just laff atimes when some noncompoop would be saying some people because of their bad character wouldn't make heaven after their death. There's always a dying minute reconciliations which is always between the dying soul and God. He must have seen the sign that he would die. Abiola I learnt in spite of his persecution against Christianity reconciled with God and pleaded for forgiveness a few days to his passing . though not many prople would have this opportunity or grace to make things right and repent before their death and that'swhy people undecided

must decist from evil acts always. This is another proof of God's kindness.

Who's oshiomohle when osunbor was campaigning under the then pdp but collected his money and cleaned mouth but still voted oshiomohle who had no kobo to bribe us voters with? We voted oshiomohle for 2 reasons, to fight godfatherism and provide infrastructure our state had been yearning for. You also missed it by saying nobody knew obaseki before. We edo people knew him as the brain behind oshiomohle government and knew ize-iyamu as a thief and his antecedents have shown. Oshiomohle even confirmed that obaseki was the brain behind the success of his administration. I know someone like you would never believe this cos of whose side you're on. But please do me a favour by making effort to Google it. Obaseki isn't a politician but a technocrat. He's the one who brought the now largest ceramics factory in west africa to edo state via same MOU some gullible minds were talking about. It didn't end there, he also saw to the establishment of the IPP which supplies power to the ceramics compamy and the host communities. They said obaseki abandoned oshiomohle ideas and I wonder which ideas did he have in the first place cos they were all obaseki ideas. Only en empty skull would think Oshomole had such a viable idea, somebody who's as local as the local man himself without education. We put oshiomohle there and NOT ACN who are now apc. Edo people don't vote across party lines when choosing a governor but based on personality. I voted oshiomohle 2 times not because i belong to the apc. Amazingly, oshiomohle is now going against the reason and cause for which we put him there back in the days to fight and it won't happen. If he likes, let him go to the white House after visiting buhari. We will do justice with our ballot next month.

Okonjo iweala was a product if Nigerian education, Philip emeagwali was a product of nigerian education, obasanjo's son at microsoft was a product of Nigerian education, the tech guys at Facebook were products of Nigerian education. I remember that lautech guy in my undergraduate days who applied for Microsoft job and was hired on merit. The current ADB chairman was a product of nigerian education. I can go on and on and on. They all had their first degrees here before they left. The topic in question was about what nigeria is known for and education is one of it. Those guys blazing trails in their various professions in Canada are products of nigerian education. Now, we could see who's stark illiterate between you and I.

6- Education( Nigerians are highly placed globally, thanks to our exposure to Western education. Every year, Nigerian students always break one academic record or the order in various disciplines, some records as old as 80 years broken with proofs )

7-Sports( Some of the famous boxers in this generation have Nigerian roots. If you get to Germany and you tell them you're from Nigeria, the first thing that comes to their mind is JayJay Okocha)

8-IT (Facebook, Microsoft and Twitter have a number of Nigerians working for them. I remember one of obasanjo's sons currently holding a key position at Microsoft. Philip Emeagwali makes Nigeria as a nation more popular in this field)

9-Fraud( you know what I'm saying )

10- Cleverness ( 99% of whites always prefer to recruit Nigerians in the US and UK)

Oshiomohle is only playing his trump card, from the botched disqualification of obaseki to failed impeachment and now planning to use security operatives to intimidate and arrest people. He knows edo people aren't cowards. Edo isn't lagos where a gun shot would be heard and everyone would rush in.

religious indeed. In a country where an iman sleeps with wives of his followers serially and stealing becomes a commonplace in churches? My cousin was once a banker before he left for yankee. He was working in the winners Chapel branch at canaanland. The elders would bring offerings to them and dictate to the managent how much the interest must be. He said they'd put the money in term deposits. For instance if the bank says, we would do 2% interest with a tenure of 6 months, theyd ask the manager to make it 3%, 2 percent on the deposit would be what the elders would declare to church while they share whatever is accrued as interest on the the 1% upon maturity. We missed it right from the era of the military dominated by the north who never believed one could save for the raining day. Corruption was the order of the day. Their culture and religious believe never permitted them to prepare for a better future. Once they have access to money today, they could squander everything today and tomorrow say, would take care if itself, forgetting that God is God of plan, process, organisation and time. Those who couldn't put up with them but wanted to also live large like the family of the military and the lay of the elites hobnobbing with them, would do anyrhing doable to corrupt themselves and the vices go on and on. Banangida made it worse by institutionalising corruption in Nigeria. All those who destroyed Nigeria will never go unponished. together we can retire them politically

i be edo konfam but that's the truth. I had met some igbos at interviews in the past. They also came with a 2.1 degree certs like me but most of them couldn't pass the interview. To construct a simple sentence became a mirage. You may be different though cos not all of them are like that.

Hope their request, especially that of nigeria is granted. We got some relief a few months ago and thanks to obj and iweala. They already know what we use our money for. Get loan, award contract with it to some people whose name I wouldn't mention at an inflated figure, do the contract half way and abandon the rest, use the proceeds to buy amunition amd share with boko haram to terrorise people and take their territory away from them. Only God can cleanse this country.

lool. I doubt if obaseki would do that. He's more mature and decent than oshiomohle. Even after his supporters put up the gandollar billboard, he ordered them to pull it down. Edo people already know all the things he said about Ize-iyamu and would never forget in a hurry. I heard them say yesterday in edo central that the apc's pay back period is here for the way oshiomohle treated them in his 8 years while in office just because they belong to the pdp grin

. It was only obaseki who remembered them in the last 4 years as if he knew he would join the pdp later . He who lives in a glass house doesn't throw a stone. Try and be kind to all because you might need them in future. You never can tell.

dont mind him. I'm sure if he had his way back to be chairman, he would change his tune the way his busy calling ize-iyamu a saint and the mumus like him are following suit. He's seen it all that his candidate would lose so, the need to be running from pillars to post. I wonder why the igueben disgrace during their recent campaign was never aired on the telly. With this character, people would begin to wonder who was behind his achievements in edo state as governor because its obvious he's bereft of ideas . This man is unstable in his words. Sadly, the obaseki who was the technocrat in his adminostration and did most of the work is now seen as a bad man by oshiomohle, somebody he once said was brain behind his administration's success. Politics is truly a dirty game in Nigeria.
